  • Let's look at this Ford Pinto in the junkyard. This one wasn't in terrible shape too bad no one saved it. Unfortunately cars don't leave this place in one piece.

    #4👍🏼 Nice car jack! 😂
Those almost look like the 1968 Shelby style tail lights. 😮I think the Shelby is my favorite Model from Ford. 😍 💪🏼 Must be the muscle! ❤
Speaking of muscle... thanks for the tingles, Natey! 💋

How did i miss this video? Dang, that's too bad for that little runabout. Back in the late 70s my friend's parents had a 74 Pinto. Horrible, grubby, loud and slow little car. Oddly enough, my mom got to drive it once and she liked the crisp steering and composed ride.

A heap of junk and exactly where it belonged since 1980. These were never good vehicles. This was a typical kicking and screaming entry into the US small car market.
We got the VIN, we win: 0 for 1980 model year, X for St. Thomas, Ontario Canada assembly, 10 for Pinto base two door, A for 2.3L (140 CID) four cylinder with Holley-Weber two-barrel aka "Horrible Holley-Wobbly Weber" and the rest is the production sequence. The St. Thomas plant closed in 2011. The Holley-Weber two barrel, like all of Ford's carburetion during this time are only good as door stops and paperweights. They are absolute garbage.
We got the tag, we can brag: 3F for Light Medium Blue exterior paint, 62D for Pinto two door base model, GB for Blue interior trim, 2 for AM radio without CB, Y for 3.08:1 rear axle ratio, non-locking, W for C4 automatic transmission AC with a blank means no factory installed air conditioning, and 41 for Chicago, IL sales district.
