This might be difficult to believe but I found your channel around 3 hours ago and binge-watched How to Meal Prep's almost all of 1 to 23 episodes. But this is the ridiculous part: it's 8am right now. You've got me hooked on this!
Personally, the best part about your videos is not how informative your videos are, or how enjoyable they look - it's the length of the videos and how you manage to cram all the necessary info in around 5 to 8 minutes (at least most of them) without coming off as hurried or anything of that sort.
Truly remarkable. I've seen loads of Weekly Meal Prep videos and they are usually longer.
I'm a university student. I am not even experienced much in cooking but your videos have been enough helpful.
You guys deserve more recognition. Love you both. Thank you. Don't stop. And never delete these videos from RUclips because I might just show these videos to my kids one day

I've been loving putting a tablespoon of pure pumpkin puree in my overnight oats, a little stevia and pumpkin pie spice. Eating it cold in the morning tastes exactly like pumpkin pie!

I tried the peanut butter and jelly one. I used powdered peanut butter which I don't recommend. It wasn't very creamy and didn't have a strong peanut butter flavor. so I tried it with regular peanut butter the next day and it was so good! Super creamy and delicious and I didn't need any sugar. I eat overnight oats every morning now! Thank you so much for introducing me to this!

New Subscriber here, totally addicted to your vids and ideas!
After hitting the big 3-0 I've just started getting truly serious about my health and fitness and find meal prepping the best way to keep my goals active and my food organized so as I'm not left to make poor impulsive decisions in the heat of the moment when you have that "I dunno, what do you want to eat?" discussion at lunch or dinner which usually ends in bad take-away food you regret! It's great to have meals sorted and good to go to avoid that hassle!
I really appreciate the recipes and all the information you give with the macros. I would definitely love to see more healthy breakfast and healthy snack related recipes in the future, but of course dinners and lunches too!
Thanks for all you do! xAMx

    30 grams of any berry.

I know when someone is on a stricter low carb diet, they go for unsweetened almond milk because it's really low carb, whereas milk has about 11 grams or so. Of course, if one is that strict, then they wouldn't be having oats or fruit anyway. But that's why so many recipes call for that, because it's a fluid that is low carb, and usually low fat.

The processing; steel is less processed than rolled or instant (instant being the most processed). Because of this, steel oats has a different -- toothier -- consistency.

Yay well done for using full fat milk. Your body needs that fat in order for calcium to be incorporated into bone. I also add some protein powder to meet the leucine threshold so that catabolism of the muscle is turned off from from when you were sleeping. Then i hit the gym. Love your recipes.

Lovely! I have tried them and they are actually really good. Keep up the good work. However...the portions seem a little small for me, I don't know if it is because I'm used to eat a big breakfast (and I need to change that) or because I feel like I need more fuel after a full tapout xt session. Do you eat a jar of this along with something else? or...do you have any suggestions for snacks? I start my day early and waiting from 6am to my lunch (prepped in advance ;) ) feels kind of too long for me. I love having tea or coffee around 10am and I usually have biscuits with it but I'm trying to change that. Any suggestions? I appreciate it!

    • @Easymealpreprecipes
      @Easymealpreprecipes  8 лет назад

Hi Marian! Glad you enjoyed them! Yes, waiting from 6-noon is a very long time! You need to keep fuel in your fire, so to speak :) We have 23 other meal prep episodes for you to pick and choose from. If you haven't already, scroll back a bunch of videos and watch our video about Macros. We will calculate yours for you in the comments section. That will help you get a better understanding of how much you should be eating in a day!

Hey! you did, actually. Thanks for that:
"Hello, Your total calorie goal is 1800 cals per day, 150carbs 120protein 80fats"
But I guess I'm lazy to count everything to make my meals fit into it. I have to switch certain things because many ingredients are not available where I live (no peanut butter, just peanuts). I guess I will keep eating variations of the meal preps in bigger portions, and eating peanuts and almonds with my tea for now (please don't tell me it's unhealthy), to see how that works. Thank you guys!

I feel as if Those portions are a tad small. am I imagining things here?
What I have for breakfast normally is a half cup of oats a half cup of Greek yogurt 2 eggs and a cup of mixed berries. Is my portion size to large? I'm also fairly large at 190lbs 6 feet tall. (Was 240lbs)

so do you guys do keto? Or just low carb? I'll be honest I do all my carb intake in the morning, but sometimes when I fly off the handle I keto diet for6-12 weeks. Also when I do have carbs after noon I reach for starches instead of grains or pastas.
My question to you two: what is better? A complex carbs from vegetable or pasta and breads. I personally prefer organic vegetables( although I know bread and pastas can both be organic) my point is I prefer it in its most natural form without being raw.

I tried these last night/today with peanut butter and chocolate, though with soymilk since we are a dairy-free house. I definitely need a sweetener to be able to eat this in the mornings. What sweetener is the least bad? Honey? Something else?

Honey and maple syrup are the least bad and brown rice syrup if you can find it =)
