I have watched several vids on this job. Seems nobody realizes there are a couple different configurations of how the o-rings, washers and spacers go on the fuel lines before reinstall. This is critical to this job. Read the instructions that come with your kit and follow them carefully. Also, clean reused parts before reinstall. Consider changing intake gaskets if they haven't already been done when changing injectors, originals go bad on these engines and you are about half way there doing this job so kill 2 birds with one stone.
I had a mechanic repair mine and he did replace the Fuel Injection System. He called it the Spider assembly. Anyway, my blazer is running and idling really rough...rougher than before he replaced it. Any thoughts?
I took it to another mechanic, and he said the Spider assembly was not plugged in right and also found the Distributor was bad. O2 sensor was also bad. So far, the blazer is running ok. *****
Thanks for sharing. Interesting views and music. --- For a 2000 GMC V6, 4.3 L, does anyone know the typical reliable life of the fuel pressure regulator; and the typical reliable life of the fuel injector / poppits ? Would it be wise to replace the fuel injector / poppits assembly after 200k miles?
Those ppl bitching are probably tRump supporters and dont have much upstairs...Anyway, Ive watched about 9 videos on replacing the spider injection on the 4.3 and let me tell you, this is by far not the worst one I viewed, also watching all those videos gives me several perspectives on how to do this on my 2000 Blazer 4.3 1st week of march 2020...Wish me luck...
It would of been a better video if the people(us) could hear and see exactly what you are doing for the people who arent mechanically inclined, they might not of understood the text you provided during the process, not saying it was a bad video..just wasnt informative enough for those that dont understand or know -example "upper pleum" or even what a spider injector is.But other then that good video..because I understood everything you did and why.
The music is mutable, and the captions still work without annotations or audio being enabled. Feel free to follow along with your own background music if you prefer.
hi. congratulations by your video. i have a onme question my friend. which spider`brand do you recommend, among ACDELCO and Delphi? my truck is a tahoe 97 vortec 5.7 lts
Seemed like a good video but the music and all the writing all over the video was annoying enough for me to stop the vid and comment. We would rather just hear you explain whats going while the video runs. Good luck to you! (I'm going to search for another video)
Bad video, not close enough to see what is going on. But great tunes. Nice recording. IM an audio engineer and can tell its a home recording, Nice job.
There's often not enough room to get close-up shots of the process without there being interference issues between the camera and the Technician, which is why we describe steps in the captions.
Your intentions were good and I was able to extract some info however if I may suggest.....not showing , up close, what you were doing is pointless to the viewer. The music is distracting and hearing the tech voice this repair would have been ideal.
So why would people watch your videos there is no point? if all they are doing is watching your back side. Kinda dumb I think! My videos at least teach, why would you waist your time even doing these videos if they don't help. And If I want workout music I will go to iTunes not your videos.
desde panamá mis saludos. feliz noche a ti y los tuyos

I'm a mechanic and I thought the vid was useful. Unlike some people on this website, I have a mute button on my youtube player and it works.
I like the video but there is a redesigned bracket that the new spider snaps into. This might be helpful info.

Do a 2001 chevy s10 2.2l engine have a fuel pressure regulator and where is it located?
Yes it does and its supposedly on the fuel rail. I have a 98 s10 2.2 and can't find it either 😣
Fuel pressure regulator is on the spider assy. body.
are we watching through a peep hole cant even see what your doing and the music sucks.
Please feel free to post your video link here so we can see you do it "right" there super mechanic.
@@bigpapa3348 right this video was fucking terrible
If you worried more about the camera distance and forgot the music video would be great.
Move that camera closer bud! We can't see what you are doing!

All you showed was a guy walking around and putting his hands on the engine. What did he actually do?
I need mine fixed can anyone help me
I rarely dislike a Video... 😑
Cant see where you are in the job too far away and not enough detail.

I'm giving him a chance..but of course all of that crap needs to Get Out of our Way!

This video is worth less
Video is terrible. Can't even see the text on the screen, don't hear anything but music. Not helpful or educating at all

We're not trying to teach in this series, only to show the process for those with sufficient equipment and expertise to follow along.
*Waste.
+ScottysDetailing, kinda dumb....y'mean like not knowing how to spell waste?
