  • To make life a little bit easier when I'm out gigging, I decided to put everything I use together on a Pedalboard. Looking forward to taking this out.
I'm using the Pedaltrain 24 Novo as my pedalboard.

Just ordered the 32in version so I can put my other tuner, drop, fat boost, shure system, and the DI box on there and still have room for a few other items as well. Can’t wait to use it. I send one line to House and one line to my headrush

Hi Cherry. Yeah it's been a while. I've been very busy with my work and to be honest, I just didn't really have any content ideas to make any videos lol. Thanks dude.

Hey man. Are you still using the kemper stage? I’m deciding between the helix floor and kemper stage for live use at church and also my home studio for recording.

Right now I'm using the Pod Go as it's giving me everything I need. You can't go wrong with either really. Kemper is only as good as the profiles you use, so if you don't dig the stock profiles you'll have to buy more.

the Pod Go has this horribly flimsy power cable, with a giant wall wart transformer. They COULD have put all that inside the unit and given us a standard C13 connection, so we could use any computer type power cord. But no, they give this terrible wall wart thing. So my question: How are you running power to your PodGO?

Nice one! I've actully just ordered the biggest pedal board Thomann make coz I wanna put my PodGo and a bunch of other pedals on it too... Just 2 questions...
1 Do you know of any power supplies that can power the PodGo (9V, 2.5A) and a bunch of smaller pedals (9V, 0.5A)?
2 Do you find that even when bypassing the amp/cab sims on the PodGo and even when using Amp Out output (which is meant to bypass the amp/cab sims) do you find that the PodGo still 'colours' your amps tone? I use a Roland JC40 transistor Amp for its really nice clean tones, but when using the PodGo just as a multieffects pedal (bypassing amps/cabs sims) it still really changes the tone of the amp... Just curious if you've noticed this too?
    Thanks again 👍🏼

Are you connecting the pod go to the fx loop with their 4 cable method and then turning the amp and speaker off ?

    • @ChrisDeJuanMusic
      @ChrisDeJuanMusic 2 года назад

@@destroyerproductionsandrec2127 H thanks for your comment, yes I have used the 4 cable method using the FX loop on the amp, but still can't achieve the same cristal clear tone as when using my analogue pedals straight in to the front of the JC40... but have managed to get it sounding pretty close with a bit of fiddling on the PodGo.... I guess an amp modeler will never be as good as the real thing, but it gets pretty damn close, especially it's bigger bro the Helix, and the convenience and versatility makes it such a great tool to have... both for live and in the studio!

Could you please share where you got the footswitch toppers for the pod go?
    Thanks:)

How do you put the Pod on the Pedalboard?

I really wanted a Helix but I am not rich so I got a POD Go. Now I am finding I really need some more effects in there and am thinking of grabbing an HX and sticking it in the effects loop. Am I crazy?

    • @Edward_G

Should work fine as long as you sort out your effects loop, but the pod go paired with the hx is basically the same price as a helix so I'd say you might aswell use it instead of both.

Joyo makes a wireless transmitter/receiver that’s 40 bucks. So you could even make it more wireless from your secondary guitar!

Thanks man. I was thinking about the double wireless thing...and that may happen. But for now I'm happy with one guitar being on a cable more as a security thing.

Hello Tony.. Did you attach the Pod Go with velcro? Cheers

Yes the velcro tape that was supplied with the pedalboard. I took the feet off the Pod Go so it sat flush.

Not once do you talk about pedal board power supply???? I have a 32 in board with separate wha and volume, the l6 10s wireless, a EkoVerb in the stereo loop, and a AC3 with di box out, all on the board... noise from my wha due to the wall warts underneath... I need to find a power supply that will power all of it, noiseless of course.
