    Thank you for getting to the point immediately. Way too many presenters talk about what they will say for way too long before we get something worthwhile. Your explanations jump right in, just how I like it. ... BTW, thank you for this video, it helped immensely in understanding EQ.

      Thanks! I do try to cut things short, and skip the unnecessary intros. I don't always succeed, but when I do, it's a video about an EQ : )))

    Hi Ivan, what a helpfull tutorial. Your language , by the way , is so precise and elaborated. Thanks a lot. I think equing is the most complicated and influencing tool among all "pedals ". 😂

      @pekkyas  2 года назад

      Thank you, glad you find it helpful. It is the most powerful one, for sure. But, compression seems to be the one that's even more confusing for people. I know it was for me when I first started using it : )

    Ivan my friend, I can't thank you enough for this EQ explanation. Now I just need to make my own correlation between certain frequencies and terms I use like "woof", "sizzle", "tinny", and "crackle". Thanks again brother.

    • @pekkyas
      @pekkyas  2 года назад +1

      Happy to help Mike! And yes, when it comes to describing sound qualities across the freq. spectrum we simply MUST resort to using terms like that. It's much easier, when you find the ''woof'' one time, it's easier for our brains to have a reference that explains the quality, because numbers in itself don't carry a ''meaning'', if that makes sense. I also use ''boxy'', ''nazal'', ''harsh'', and many others : )

      @@pekkyas Well, still curious what could be a good App or Software to support my learning journey ... some feedback from a tool could help me training my ear, no? What would you advice? An app would be grat but I don't think this would work or do you have another experience here?
