For products only sold in Japan does Wera go with a JIS tip, or as I imagine do they stick to a standard Phillips geometry? Thank you for the very interesting videos!
That is an excellent question and I don't know. I just an email to Wera rep that replied to my earlier question. Will let you know.
I got a reply from Wera USA and he said that because it is not a product in this market he didn't have access to any information about Country of Origin or ISO or DIN or JIS standards used on tips. I will see if I can find any Wera Japan contact.
@@bzeug Thank you for checking into this!
@@htr5372 Curious what you are referring to? When I look at a current Vessel catalog it says their current “phillips” tips are made to JIS.
@@bzeug Did you ever hear back about the JIS tip, or are you able to compare them to other Wera Phillips tips?
Very nice handles, I always liked the Vessel screwdrivers. There is a Makita production plant in my country and I worked here on the construction site years ago. And I worked with the japanese team and it was the first time I used the Vessel ball grip handles.. I was in good relations with one of the engineers and ask him about this tools. Two months later when he comes back from Japan, he brings me some tools from vessel, olfa utility knifes and a Mitutoyo caliper. They have very good tools, after more than 10 years I still using them and remember Mr Igarashi.
Sounds like someone from Japan is flying over there with some specs.. Wera is always customizing stuff for everybody.. Just picked up a few of those today!
Cool new great designed tools 🪛 should be available to everybody! We want the cool new 🆕 stuff here in the States 🇺🇸!
Holyyyyyy crap! These are all absolutely gorgeous. How are you the only one talking about these?
Thank you for this info - I really appreciate it. This will be my 3rd order from Amazon Japan. At first I thought your screenshot was some sorta Photoshop job! Very interested and excited about these!
The blue diamond tips used to be sold on other markets, but only remain in Japan.
As soon as I saw that japanese box in your video I paused the video and purchased a set!
Great channel only the most exotic tools are here thanks again for tools around the world
Very interesting, I'll have to look out for these on my next trip there 😉
Great video. This is the kind of content I'm subbed for
I love that you go into detail with every product. Thank you for what you do !
Would love see content on Instagram !
Very interesting. Never noticed these types here in Germany!
Thank you for enlightening your audience internationally available products! I received my first Wiha Centrofix bit driver a few weeks ago and absolutely love it! I run a robotics program at the local high school, and I will be ordering a dozen more as soon as I figure out how to get around the purchase order system! I’m diving into Amazon Japan next for reduced diameter shanks.
I am searching fruitlessly for longer reach Ball End Hex bits in both metric and fractional sizes. If you have any suggestions for sourcing these unicorns, I would appreciate hearing it!
Thanks again and keep doing what you do best!

Haus of tools have the ball grips available now.
I love the black/blue handles and own several screwdrivers sets like "heavy-duty, hex (metric and SAE), Torx," but those will never be at pair with PB Swiss, which I own the classic handles set of PH and flats and Multi grip set, PB is totally better quality in screwdrivers, especially the type of stainless steel they use never rust and the quality is just premium, of course, the price is higher. Everyone has their place, and Wera is a medium-quality brand with a BIG selection of screwdrivers. I like that part from Wera; they cover basically EVERYTHING. I want to add the most rigid studies that I ever work on are the WIHA Heavy Duty line; those are ready for an apocalypse
I would Deffo . like to try some !
These are cool but the sizes are pretty limited. No +3, no -5.5 or -8.
BZEUG 1st in screwdriver design. I've never even heard of these before. Is this an admission by Wera that Vessel has the best design?
I wish I could find this outside of Amazon Japan. I can’t seem to get my card information to work using Amazon Japan 😢
are the japanese ones JIS? the ball one and the white ones?
When they make it in wood I will buy it.
Old fashion, love it😁
Limited edition screwdrivers... You guys are crazy and prone to marketing BS. 😁 Will you ever use it?
this has to be god level as far as screwdriver handle goes
For working on godzilla
Well, about who Wera loves more… wera loves money and they can’t afford to loose that Japanese market but they have wishes. Thus Wera gives them what they want. I like Wera but if they already make it, sell it everywhere… we can all use more colour in our lives!
Came by a torque driver today that might interest you the TOHNICHI RTD15CN.
checking it out. thank you
KC Tools has them
Yes they do! Links to singles and sets in the description.
Noooo! just when i think i shouldnt buy anymore tools!! TAKE MY MONEY!! lol
I already got on Amazon Japan to order the ball grip wera haha.
Man, i wish the set i got had the hexagonal blades. Id like a sturdier blade that was still lightweight unlike the 900 series striking cap drivers. Think i might grab the blue japanese diamond coated tip ones off amazon japan with the hex blades. Then probably just grab a few loose striking screwdrivers from vessel and wera. But yes amazon iapan can give you access to all the very cool japanese exclusive stuff that really should be sold over the water lol.
