from my understanding if you mismatch it will always use the lower one whether you doing series or parallel. in series if you have one panel that's 20volts and the other is 24 volts it would be 40 volts combined and the amps will go to the lowest of the 2, if your doing parallel take the panel with the lowest amps and multiply that times 2. Your device will only pull what it needs amp wise, volts are pushed into the device. that's what you have to worry about

you don't have to worry about amps. The solar generator (Delta Mini) will only take in up to the max specified. I own two mini's, they are awesome.
