      Tell me about it. It actually came down to kc kicking a game winning fg vs sandiego on the very last play of the regular season. 3 seconds left. Kc makes it steelers r in. And they missed it. Then lost in ot. If kc would of played starters that game then it would of been easy win for kc. I also like to mention chiefs were up 10 with 4 min. To go. I still get discusted when i think about it.

    • @kenrosaidso8466
      @kenrosaidso8466 5 лет назад +1

      Only if brown would of stayed in bounds a few weeks b4 vs miami then steelers be in that season. Im discuted over this because out of all the steelers teams from 2010 until now i believe this one hear was the best. They didnt start playing until they were 0 and 4. I believed they would of won SUPERBOWL.

      @@kenrosaidso8466 The Chargers actually had illegal formation on that missed kick by KC. They had 7 men on one side and you can't do that. The refs missed that call; KC should've had another shot at the field goal to get us in the playoffs.

    This was a painful season for us steeler fans. It had it's good moments tho. We lost Pouncey in week 1 to a torn ACL when decastro dove head first into his knee in the Titans game. This was Bell's rookie season, AB cemented his status that season as an elite receiver, the O line became one of the better lines in the league after years of poor lines years before. Started 0-4, our LT spot was terrible those first 4 game with bust Mike Adams getting Ben killed. Steelers put Kelvin Beachum at LT and he proved to be a good tackle. The defense was on a steep decline! They were old and slow, only had 3 takeaways in the first 7 weeks and 4 total sacks in that span. Polamalu, Keisel was showing their age. Ziggy Hood, McClendon couldnt stop a nose bleed on the D line, Jarvis Jones was terrible as an OLB. Overall the Steelers were one play away from the postseason thanks to the emergence of its offense, but 2013 was one I'd like to forget.

    • @mariosnum1fan
      @mariosnum1fan 4 года назад +1

      They didn’t get robbed. They just weren’t a good team because of their very tough schedule against a tough afc north, afc East, and this nfc north schedule. They were, in fact, very very lucky to beat green bay

    • @hbk314
      @hbk314 4 года назад +3

      @@Jamie-vc6pi Even in this game, Green Bay gets gifted a touchdown by a bad call. On the replay at 1:26:50, a Steelers player clearly possessed the ball prior to the illegal batting foul. Half the distance to the goal. 1st and 10, Pittsburgh.
      The officials cost the Steelers three games in 2018, any one of which would have put them in the playoffs. Look up Steelers-Saints (worst officiated game I've ever seen) or Steelers-Chargers (second-worst officiated game I've ever seen). The Steelers' opponents were gifted 41 points between those two games.

    Crazy game. As someone else mentioned in the comments, Mike Tomlin botched that last offensive drive so badly. After Green Bay jumped offsides on the FG attempt, It was 1st and goal with 1:30 left. Green Bay had one timeout. I’d have taken 3 knees and kicked a 26 yarder as time expired. Tomlin ran on 1st down and got to the goal line. All things considered, that’s fine. You could take 2 knees, center the ball in between the hashmarks, and kick a 17 yarder as time expired. Instead of taking advantage of the situation and kicking literally the easiest field goal possible, Tomlin runs the ball again and Bell scores. I was pissed when it happened, and vividly remember screaming at my TV when on the ensuing kickoff Micah Hyde was 1 missed tackle away from housing it and tying the game. That tackle on Hyde was the most important play of Shamarko Thomas’s less than illustrious Steelers career lol. Too bad incompetent officiating and Ryan Succop kept that Steelers team out of the playoffs.
