Civilized, civic action does not have to take lots of time, or even any $. We can each choose something to work on, and ask our friends and families to do the same. We can help unseat the hostile inadequates and send genuine representation to D.C.

      Actually, in typical jury selections, defendants & prosecutors both don't want _impartial_ jurors. They want ones partial to their side.

      That kind of thing doesn't go well in the jury room, you'd get caught out pretty quickly and get booted. Once on duty you see how seriously most people take their job. I wish more people served so they can see it for themselves.

    I agree with this guy, Mark. While I believe that I can take in the evidence and decide objectively, I would be walking into the courtroom with a strong bias, something I would have to overcome. I post articles and opinions about the Cheeto Fascist almost every day; I volunteer for Democratic candidates, and am a card carrying member of liberal activist organizations. No, I shouldn't be on this jury, and I give kudos to this citizen for being open about his bias and stepping out of the way.

    A true catch 22 situation. Because he admitted he wouldn't be seated because of his opinion of Trump, he probably could have been honest in his assessment of guilt or innocence. But if he had of tried to hide his bias and got on the jury it would have shown that he shouldn't be on the jury.
