This episode I did film twice.. I filmed each drink individually and then separately I remade all 4 drinks quickly to film the tasting… otherwise, I worried the layers would separate before i could do the tasting and take photos
Excellent choices! I love the look of layered cocktails. You can get away without garnishing :). I like how the empress gave you a little purple and blue ombré effect in the royal hawaiian.
Such a solid video because the entire thing is honest. That's how it goes too. Sometimes they are pretty but it just doesn't work. Other times..... good times.
So basically if the cocktail uses a straw, the layering is just for looks. It’s literally impossible to taste the other flavors unless you use a straw with holes all over it. 😂
ROB!! What's wrong with a murky gray cocktail?? This was awesome!!! I need to try that Dark and Stormy!!! I love ginger beer!!! Greta video!! CHEERS!!!
I love layered cocktails rob, great choice :)
Thanks Dave! I had to make the Royal Hawaiian 3 times! 🤦♂️ my GoPro footage got corrupted
@@RobsHomeBar I think you wanted another one :)
I struggle to make a single layered drink well, much less four... well done Rob!

wonderful cocktails 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I love a good layered drink
You eat (drink) with your eyes before your mouth, so the visuals can definitely add to the experience!
It sure can! …but I also do prefer the ones that can be drunk layered
Great looking cocktails! Cheers! 🥃
Layers are fun to serve but need to usually be mixed to drink... But still fun to have a float and see how it works as the drink evolves...
Gorgeous layered cocktails Rob!! They all look lovely!! I can't wait to try these out!! Terrific video!! Cheers!! :-)
These look great, I suck at layering, so I better get practising huh 😅😵💫
Layer it on me, Rob!
Haha, cheers!
fun fact, world record for most layers in a cocktail is 10 layers :D cheers rob!
Nice! Is that the Pousse Cafe? It has a bunch of layers but it sounds kinda gross 🤣
When I made the sour drink , the wine sunk to the bottom. Is there a certain wine I should be using ?
Are you using a barspoon to slowly layer it on.. it can take some practice to be sure

🤣🤣 the majority of layered cocktails are just for looks.. you have to stir before drinking.. I get it, I just prefer a functional layering
🤤🍸👍
Wouldn’t it be nice if the cocktail makers should do the recipe instructions

They’re all good! Just some need to mixed first.. the Royal Hawaiian is so weird.. how does yellow and purple make gray???
@@RobsHomeBar I made a sour with Creme de Violette, it turned gray!!!
There's a real art to layering - and it doesn't always work!
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!! First in!!!!
