    don't know why mine never rises, I have bought new yeast countless times but nothing must be doing something wrong

      Use dry active yeast and also make the liquid you will use is warm not hot

      Yeast is a bacteria and feeds on sugar and heat. If you get instant yeast, add it to your dry ingredients but make sure your milk or water is warm, not more than a 120 Fahrenheit and not less than a 100 Fahrenheit. If is an active yeast, put it in your warm wet ingredient (water/milk) with the same above Fahrenheit and cover it for 10-20 mins. You’ll see a change. Also when you’re done rolling your dough, cover it tightly and put it in a warm place. Preferably in your oven(off) or microwave (off) and wait for 40mins - 1hr for it to double in size. I hope this helps

    I am intolerant to milk powder, what can I substitute with?
