I regularly see my home town on these videos. My home town is full of idiots :/ My mothers car was totalled by some ass hat pulling out of a T-Junction and smacking into the side of her. And then claiming it was her fault for not noticing him and evading.
Also, not saying which video it was, but I have actually gone as far as seeing my cousin on one of these videos xDD He became the butt of the joke after I showed it to the family. His mother wasn't happy because "She had raised him better than that"
@8:30 I know this road, It's where the driving test centre in Nelson used to be.
The one with a police van coming out onto a mini roundabout (8:17) is in Edgware, at the junction of Hale Lane and Station Road. There have been at least 6 other videos featuring this site.
Ironically, there used to be British School of Motoring office in the side road beside the NatWest Bank

Artur there’s this this really cool thing called merging which everyone is taught about in driving lessons, normally marked by a lane ending and a nice little arrow pointing to a or the remaining lane.

I always find it funny that people want to stay in a que and not use both lanes to merge in turn but then don't like It when some one uses both lanes like you are meant to.. I get it all the time. In Nottingham so many dual lanes that shrink to single and back out to two all the time yet every one sits in a single lane and then gets pissy if you use both lanes.

They get an erection when they approach a roundabout. They'd circle around for hours waiting for their prey to enter, then they slam down on the accelerator before ejaculation. Sickos!
@MR Mister As always, they're great but I can see where you're coming from. Watching these clips, I think half the time those with the cams are in the wrong or driving too fast and aggressively for today's busy roads.

It's one of those. I thought exact same and then saw the rest. I can see that at rush hour that queues of traffic probably build up just the other side of the brow. Doesn't take away the fact the guy could've got up to speed and back down again before the brow. And unfortunately his bad driving leads to X umber of cars undertaking him. Then one car takes particular exception to him. Oh dear.

I maybe wrong so apologies if I am but watching the clip again it looks like the Fiat 500 was in a bus only lane when he went through the lights so I would've let him in but maybe given him a flash. Saying that he wasn't hurting anyone being in bus only lane and he did try to merge in turn

6:57 clearly shows the left lane for "buses" before it actually turns into a bus lane. I wasn't aware the Fiat 500 was classed as a bus. But yeah, camera car should/could have acted like he wasn't still in primary school. Good old Wakefield.
Ruben Jennings I agree. The cammer could have been courteous and let him in. It's not really that important to be one car ahead.
Camera vehicle was wrong the fiat got ahead at the merge so the camera vehicle should have given priority to the fiat. People need to learn how to merge in turn.
1:36 does this really deserve a 5 second horn blast? I know the Rio cut in quite a bit but the move was steady and signalled.

With being on a motorway and the speed of the vehicles involved I would have used the horn, although my hand is never ready to use the horn 😂
Every 10 years you have to update your drivers license with a new photo. What would happen if drivers have to take a driving test every 10 years to see if they still know how to drive? Surely the awful drivers would fail. I watched a documentary where people of different ages and professions retook their driving tests for the show and it was something like a 90% fail rate.
Imagine yourself taking driving test some 10years after getting your licence. We would all fail, no doubt about that. It would definitely not mean we all can't drive.
Failing a driving test doesn't mean you can't physically drive. It means you make enough mistakes that you are highly likely to impede other road users or contribute to an accident. For example, leading cause of accidents is poor observation. If you fail to do proper observations on a driving test just three times you will fail, as you should.
I think retaking a hazard awareness test should be done every few years. It's shocking how shitty people are at driving
Without taking updated driving lessons everybody would fail, because the accepted standard for tests and what people are taught often changes. For example my dad was taught to go down through the gears when slowing down, I was taught to change straight into the gear you will be needing, or straight into neutral when stopping.
My sister was taught to leave the car in gear and stay on the brake when waiting at lights, I was taught to put it in neutral and apply the handbrake.

To be fair, he is changing to the lane he needs to be in even if it is a bit too early. I do wonder however if he failed to look in his mirrors and indicate. In The Netherlands, you have to keep your indicator on in situations like this - just to show where you will be going. People may then overtake you on the wrong side legally.
To me that looks like there has been something going on prior to the start of that clip, he changes lanes way too slow and is going a fair bit below the speed limit. so i reckon he is antagonizing the other driver and gets a reaction.
Spot on urbanracer01. There was no need to move over that early, and he was clearly stopping others from going past him. I suspect he has a chip on his shoulder because someone wanted to go a bit quicker that he did. Saddo.
Usually there is heavy traffic on that roundabout so it is usually necessary to get into the right lane sooner than usual
Exactly. Even if he was EVENTUALLY going to turn right, there’s no need to sit VERY SLOWLY in the right lane, and get angry with anyone who dares to want to go faster than you - and honking when they undertake. If you want to go slow, use the LEFT lane; let others overtake you; and then only change lanes right when you’re much closer to the turning.

Those arrows are called Deflection Arrows. They are not there to denote merging in turn (common misconception). They are there to warn of hazards and restrictions. Plus no need for merging in turn here anyway - it's two separate lanes.
Merge ahead doesn't give you priority, but agree cammer is dick.
How many times could I count a dashcammer deliberately causing problems on the road to get some footage????!! Many of these incidents could be avoided by better observation skills, or by employing some defense driving techniques. Time people stopped being such idiots!!
Andy Whitehead you are entirely correct to point that out...but as correct and true as that statement is, it does NOT NEGATE the poor driving of others they encounter as well...no incident is ENTIRELY 100% 1-sided...

At 7:00 the dash cam driver Arthur b is at fault. There was more than enough space for the fiat to merge.
Did he indicate? Nope, just flies up inside and moves over. Total expectation of the world revolving around him and no consideration for anyone else. That's why it gets the bad reaction

Possibly a driver more used to the European continent rules on roundabouts, traffic on the roundabout gives way to traffic entering the roundabout

I'm not sure how you can tell why he/she did it. Perhaps they're desparate to get to hospital or something...I hope not, in a way.
Clip 1 - Cam car still doing 70 in the right lane which is closing in 800m. Static traffic in the left lane and still no reaction. Some incredibly bad awareness here. Fair enough you cant predict the actions of those in the left necessarily, but perhaps some caution could have been exercised since obviously a lane merge was needed.

If you already have a license thank your lucky stars that you don’t have to worry about hazard perception, because it seems you have none.
he wasn't in the wrong lane, and the failings were with the idiots who changed lanes without looking - I'm sure the police who did attend agreed, and I'm sure the insurance companies will be too. Are you able to actually think BTW, if he was in the 'wrong lane' why were the others going into it in the first place.
The guy in the red car at 7:01 was in the right. The lane split into two one for turning left and the other for straight on. It then filtered into the other lane where the car with the camera was
Up in scotland they actually put signs up and they say please use both lanes in heavy traffic and merge, and tbh that actually makes people do it and people will actually let you merge, maybe all councils should do this
Would love to speak with Gavin who submitted the footage at 3:33. I reported this driver to the police a couple of weeks ago, he is now in the process of being prosecuted for dangerous driving.
Arthur B did you not see the merge markings... petty miss use of dual lane traffic lights, designed to cross maximum traffic across lights in the smallest time.
The clip at 6:36 is in Cambridge and that corner is lethal, there’s a college just the other side of the road and kids cross constantly without even looking

An interesting collection, from lack of concentration through to just Wow - defensive driving would certainly resolve a few of these.
3:35 - Driver going over Neath Bridge knows the road too well and is getting in lane way too early. See people doing this on Afan Way too on a 50mph road when they are shopping at Morrisons. Move straight into offside lane and drive at 30mph...I think limit on Neath Bridge is 50...in fact it is there on the video

Just to clarify, vehicle was actually moving, had to stop due to coach not stopping. (My submitted clip), first time using the dash cam, should of recorded more beforehand

8:22...... BEEP YOUR BLOODY HORN! Show your displeasure on towards the officer who has just pulled out in front of you as you would of anybody else. He broke the rules of the road therefore requires to be known. You could go through with the back catalogue of these dash cam videos and not a single soul I repeat not a single Soul ever ever beeps at an officer who has pulled out in front of them cut them off at roundabout, ran red light nobody ever beeps at them and I don't understand why? If PC Plod pulls out in front of me on a roundabout you know damn right I'll sound my horn and make him go back not his right of way. They are officers of the law not the creators.
Well technically beeping your horn to show displeasure is actually stated in the highway code as the main rason NOT to use your horn. So technically you could get a telling off by the officer rather than the other way round if you want to be pedantic. That's not what a horn is for, although everybody who owns a dash cam doesn't realise that!

I dont beep at anyone, it doesnt do anything, the time u have slowed down when someone has cut u up, what's the point on then beeping? Just to show to everyone that the car has just made a mistake, I've already slowed down so it's not going to prevent a accident
9:30. That's something they sometimes do in Greece for some reason, the cars on the roundabout, let the joining cars on. Some genuinely just allow they join, because thats how they drive

1:30 This is the problem with people trying to be "kind". If you carried on your speed you would've been past the crossing before the women reached it but instead you braked hard for no reason and almost got killed for it. Pedestrians only have right of way on crossings once they've stepped out so if you're too close to the crossing to stop safely then carry on. Of course if you can see them standing and waiting at the crossing then you should stop if you safe to.
I agree with you that the cyclist overreacted there, but it might not have been due to kindness but more a reflex based on previous encounters with pedestrians. I have seen more than a few pedestrians walk briskly towards a crossing like they are going straight past it, only to dart onto it without even looking even cutting the corner at times to do so. If the cyclist has encountered the same thing a few times, I can forgive them for being super paranoid aboud suicidal pedestrians even if they haven't reached the crossing yet. When I was at primary school they actually taught us to stop at crossings so that cars can see that you want to cross, then wait for cars to stop or show clear signs that they have seen you and are stopping, before proceeding to use the crossing. This was back in the early 90s though, so is probably outdated and they could well teach something different nowadays.

Jack's Tutorials if you look closely there is a sign telling drivers that the right lane will be closing.
Now, my instructor taught me, drive up to the lane closure and merge when it is safe to do so. The cunts in the left lane thought they would be self appointed police. Nothing wrong with what the cam car did. The other two fuckers should lose their licences and be thrown in jail. I would love to know what the thought process was! Did they not think for one fucking second that a family could be in cam car?

Delta Romeo: I think some people on here think that the two cars in front were trying to block the camera car from driving down the outside lane (which he is well within his right to do) but i honestly can't really tell why they changed lane so maybe it was just because they hadn't seen the traffic stopped in front
It appears to me as at least the first driver wasn't paying attention and the following cars not looking beyond the car in front. The first may have actually hit the car at the back of the queue meaning they stopped more suddenly than they would with just the brakes, this means following vehicles can't pull up in time and swerve while braking. This puts them stationary in a lane with traffic flowing at full speed and they then have not chance to stop in time. I don't think any of these driver's intentionally cut up the dashcammer, more of an automatic panic and swerve reaction to being surprised by something suddenly appearing in the road in front of them.
"nothing wrong with what the cam car did". ahahahaha. Pull the other one, it's got bells on it. He was driving far too fast to safely stop if, for example, cars unexpectedly (rightly or wrongly) pull out in front of him. It doesn't matter if the front cars are in the wrong - they clearly made an error here by pulling out into a live lane with a car coming, but the onus is on the driver in that lane to be driving appropriately for the conditions - in this case, driving quickly alongside a stationary lane of traffic is an utterly boneheaded move and is just asking for a collision. Camera car is partially at fault here for reckless driving.
In the first clip silver car not paying attention and doesn't see the stopping traffic so pulls left to avoid rear ending the car infront.
Second car has late braking because it is following too close to the silver one and moves right.
First car same as second, late braking and pulls further right causing cam car to crash

How could you even tell it was a coffin dodger? Because it was a Honda Jazz? I certainly couldn't tell.
Maybe was overtaking some stationary vehicle and got stuck there? Or mistake about 1-way street, or even forgot what side of the road to drive on - no evidence of OAP I can see though

once we were in a Costa car park and some kid was reversing from the space next to us and scratched our car. He just laughed and drove off, my mum was angry and got out the car yelling, he just laughed more.
5:27, that driver should banned. Drive a car is for travel from A to B place, not rage, rage cause trouble/danger. Throw the bottle clearly that guy have anger problem. If you have very bad anger problem like this guy, you shouldn't allow drive and stay off the road.

Road markings are advisory directions. If you can make progress safely.
If you have an RTC they will be taken into consideration if any offences come to light.
The laft lane arrow is indicating the traffic in the left lane can go left.
The word Buses does not have the word ONLY.
The bus lane does not start straightaway but several yards after the junction, along the two lanes.
There is a merging arrow indicating that other vehicles other than Buses Taxis and pedal cycles should merge to the right prior to the bus lane
The camera car was somewhat aggressive in his decision and put his and the Fiat in a position that could have caused an accident.
The camera car would be lucky not to be prosecuted for driving with out due care. Fine and Points
At least if the Fiat is given a ticket for being in the bus lane the driver can plead mitigating circumstances.

6:39 Camera car has to give way to bike because car is turning left and has to give way to vehicles on parallel directions.
And the cammer should have spotted the cyclist way earlier. Just lift of the gas and don't make a dramatic stop.
Pretty sure the last clip with the coach, the red car is double parked, parked on a bend and it looks like it on double yellow lines.

Anyone else having people give way to you entering a roundabout, even if the rest of the roundabout is clear and they are entering from your right? I never know whether to go or wait for them to realise they have right of way.
so the first clip the road sign says the right lane is closing so the cammer just hurtles on , got to be a second in front of the rest after all!
Do any of these get reported to the police

Arthur B - you’re in the wrong because two lanes are merging meaning the red car is within their rights to merge in front of you. One car in front isn’t going to thing your day

I'm the cammer. The first white car didn't swerve to avoid rear ending. He went down the hard shoulder to skip the queue. Police tired to get his plate from Motorway cams but couldn't. I've thought about 100 different things that I could have done to stop it. I'm doing 60mph and the cars are doing 10mph at the queue and there was a car on my left I've come to conclusion I couldn't have stopped in time or avoided it.
Johnny Salami you done nothing wrong anyway. Not your fault cars just pull out like that. Their fault for queuing there, so they need to wait for a space. Not just pull out like a moron.
You people who blame onto the camera driver, should really watch "Canada's worst driver". There's a part that trains drivers to shoulder check before actually swerving for something ahead.
How can you blame on the camera driver when it's their fault for tailgating and changing lanes when it's unsafe? Also, anyone who has common sense will swerve to the left into the emergency lane as the possibility of some vehicles coming there is very minimal.
First one - this is why you're supposed to use both lanes or you get 1 lane which is stopped for miles and another which is practically empty. Also, fancy swerving right into the fast lane instead of left onto the hard shoulder (but that's easy for me to say sitting in safety in my home).

I'm going to guess that a few of these drivers weren't from the UK and therefore unknowingly shifted to driving on the right by mistake...or maybe they were just idiots.

First clip: why would you pull towards a live lane to avoid a crash when there is an emergency lane on your left where no card coming. To top it off: BOTH of them pulled to the right. Are these people learning how to drive or they just straight up bribe the instructor

Delta Romeo yes. AFTER seeing the cars swerve. If one lane comes to a sudden stop you guess ahead and slow down. Not blast past with unchanged speed. Even if he couldn't avoid a crash that way, the impact would surely not have been that severe.
The signs for a lane closing were clearly visible and there was a massive gap for the cammer to pull in !
