Hi all,
Couple of comments:
Apologies on the music for the first 2 clips. It’s hard to find decent copyright free music on RUclips’s creator studio.
As for 8:40 - I put this in as I felt that the rear truck on the LHS was tailgating the front one quite close. Evidently, some people are finding this ‘normal’ and have ‘nothing wrong with it’.
Just want to add that I don’t do these videos just for the money, I do it as a hobby and I enjoy sharing them with you. I don’t ‘pad them out to the 10 min mark’ just for the adverts either.
Anyway!
Enjoy compilation 40 and safe driving!
Best Regards
U.K. Dash Cameras
No proze dashcam 4.0 to give away? 😉😂😂😂😂
Agree with you on the 8:40 video. The people who don't find anything wrong about it are those tailgating space invaders that I come across everyday. Big nuisance on our UK roads. Btw, I love your RUclips channel.
Always loved your compilations mate, keep up the good work!
Best compilation yet!
8:40, the truck was very very close, although I see this often, they reduce drag by driving super close, build up their momentum just a little bit then overtake. If they can't overtake, they don't want to lose their momentum so will drift closer and closer to the truck in front. I'm not saying it's right, but it is fairly normal.
Glad you clarified why that clip was in there though, if you hadn't have done that I would have never known and wouldn't have looked back at it lol
The insurance scam on the unmarked police car is now one of my all time fave vids 😂😂
If you want an example of how to behave in a civilized manner , look at Geordie T at 3.30 . Didn't lose the head with the cyclist , didn't curse like a sailor , just asked the cyclist if they were ok and then carried on with his day . It's a pity more people don't take a leak out of his book .
Most likely was in a bit of shock for going too fast around the bend. Nearly changed his (and the cyclists) lives for ever had they been going a bit faster. If your tyres are screeching, you're going too fast. Cyclist didn't just fall off in front of them, they did it out of sight. They would have been hitting the brakes just as hard if there was traffic there.
So stopping to an obstruction on the road is a “civilized manner”... what has this world turned into??
There’s nothing to praise about that video. Really. Just because the obstruction is a cyclist, doesn’t mean the diver suddenly become a saint. Also, that’s a rough stop, maybe next time, he will not go as fast round a bend. Afterall, that’s not an emergency, i dont know why he needed an emergency braking with tyres squeaking
Hopefully you meant "leaf"... otherwise that's a good way to ruin a book!
In my experience most people do. Dash cammers sometimes aren’t the forgive and forget type, which is why we see so many being twat of the week.
@@hippopotamus86 I'd argue that the fact they stopped without impact (ABS activation or not) shows they were driving to the conditions and were able to stop in the distance they could see.
3:20 Geordie T for STAR of the week.
Quick reaction and polite response, we need more dashcammers like you mate.
Fes Y cheers 👍
Beats the usual react at the last second and violently swerve off the road then give the cyclist a good mouthful for "good video footage"
0:53. I felt so good when the blue lights came on.
Agreed :)
A prime example of INSTANT KARMA....cos the cops have all evidence needed of attempted insurance fraud...so he’s got a roof over his head and meals for a few years sorted...in prison...
@@trayolphia5756 you think that's gonna get a few years? You don't know the judicial system do you
@@The_Real_JN would depend on wether is a judge presiding who takes their duties seriously.
Also just a term thrown out there to convey said severity, wether it be 5 years, 6 months…whatever…
And judicial systems/levels of penalty vary from country to country…and last I heard insurance fraud is quite a severe crime over in the UK
6:00. Nice of Tom M to stop and say to the Peugeot driver that he has it all captured on camera... oh wait, he doesn't stop!
That one with the Met police and the guy trying to say he was hit by a car was GOLD 😂
OK. As well as TWAT of the week, what about STAR of the week? I'd like to nominate George T @ 3:21 A well managed situation and a thoroughly nice bloke 😊
Suuuuuupppp!🤙🤙🤙
I dont see the big deal, it was only a cyclist, not like it was a human or anything
Yeah twat of the week has got to be the stupid woman at the end of the video who obviously thinks she’s a high priority. Knobhead! 🙄
No, twat of the week is bob hope
Drive along there regularly, it's usually sheep wandering about you have to be on the lookout for. That being said, it is adverse camber and slippery as hell even in the dry.
Cammers were mostly good this time which is a nice change. Not bad. Maybe next week we'll have our usual 50/50 of whether it's the cammer being the dick or someone else.
I was thinking the same thing.
Geordie T, didn’t loose your cool, quick reactions, you deserve a medal
If they had driven a bit slower for the blind bend, then they wouldn't have any trouble coming to a normal stop. Didn't give himself much time going that fast.
@@hippopotamus86 you're a fucking moron.
@@hippopotamus86 how fast were they going? Yes it's rhetorical, you don't know and have managed to comment on every thread congratulating this guy, loser much ?
It doesn't matter what speed he was doing, he was going too fast for the conditions! What part of that do you people not understand? You SLOW down around corners because you have no idea what is around the corner. If you have to do an emergency stop for something that is stationary on the road, then you were going too fast, simple as! Too many retards shouldn't have a licence as they can't comprehend the logic of not keeping your stopping distance within view. Highway Code 126 explains it.
@@hippopotamus86 If his stopping distance wasn't in view then the cyclist would be dead.
Haha the cyclist trying it on was hilarious when blue lights started! Class!
6:04 - No way I would have driven my car over the debris on the road, as replacing punctured tyres is not cheap and repairs not my cup of tea.
I hope they stopped... being a witness to a crash like that with a dashcam is a real help and it doesn't take much time out of your day to give someone your email address or ask for theirs to send the footage.
I seriously hoped they stopped too. Many people just drive on. Not only is it illegal, but I don't know how they live with themselves knowing they could help people out, be it with injuries or insurance.
In my area it costs around £10-15 for a puncture repair, on my car it's £60 for a new tyre
£165 a tyre on my car so yea no way I'm going over all that
@@blazeclarke Unfortunately it's not a legal requirement to stop if you're not involved.
@@JulianShagworthy upon researching, looks like I'm wrong.
I still think many should have morals and actually stop - many don't, which is sad really. There isn't really much that is more important than helping other people where you can, even if it means being 5 minutes late to the dreaded mother in law's 😆
I'm a cyclist but that clip shows it can be frightening for motorists as well - good to appreciate both points of view.
0:49 best clip yet, I had to pause it until I stopped laughing ...
That last woman. “It’s not my fault I can’t look at an enormous arrow on the road to check I’m in the right lane.”
that second video was perfect, honestly made my day and that guy was none the wiser until he saw the blue lights
That second clip LITERALLY KILLED ME 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Enjoyment 30% video 70% comments
Good compilation this week - genuinely interesting and very few boring roundabout clips - nice one!
1:40 " 'fuck is he doin'??" Most matter of fact/are-you-daft tone response "Road rage"....I lolled
Imagine if Geordie T hadn’t seen the person in the middle of the road and hadn’t stepped on the brakes quickly enough...
He sounded very gormless as he spoke to the cyclist. I wonder if he learnt his lesson, and realised he was driving like a looney?
How did he sound gormless?
He didn't sound gormless, he sounded like he'd just been shaken up by almost hitting a cyclist that he didn't expect to be there. Neither was he _"driving like a looney"_ you're either trolling or just dim.
If you have to slam on your brakes like that for something that is stationary, then you're going too fast.
J Anything SHE WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD ON A BLIND CORNER HAVING JUST FALLEN OFF HER BIKE, PLEASE TELL ME YOU DON’T HAVE A LICENCE. Jesus Christ you scare me.
“Tosser” and “prat” ahhhhh classic British slang x
I submit 0:55 for Fail Of The Year. I saw flashing blue lights and thought there's no way he hasn't just done that to an unmarked cop!
I think my Nan was behind the wheel of about 80% of the cars in this video
Nice of Tom M (Mong?!) to just drive off after seeing an accident and then submit his clip on here. Nice attitude mate - seriously hope you never need any help.
Colin Ward I thought that
Unless you are trained in first aid or traffic management you are just adding to the chaos by hanging around. There were already people rushing to help.
@@dannylees No, you stop and assist any way you can. Even if you're not needed, get the drivers information and send them your dashcam video.
There's never a situation where driving away is the best option.
You are legally obliged to stop as a witness. Van driver can claim brake tested and without the evidence Tom M has driven off with it is not proven.
@@dannylees No point in attempting to talk common sense to people who refuse to see it from any other perspective
RIP to your grandpa!
Not exactly the best backing music for that first clip...
To be fair on my channel I covered it with the theme from burnout
That is the mistake most video content creators make........background music should be of the type that sits quietly in the background, just gently padding out the footage, instead of riding roughshod over the video making it hard or aggravating for the viewer watch. It ceases to be backing music if it is loud and aggressive, repetitive or annoying.
I hope it was Lazy Generation. I'll be disappointed if it wasn't
Porn as background music and err added FX would certainly give it a different vibe for sure. Not sure if having a climax to orgasm as the cars come together would be too appropraite though! Haha.
6:11 - "Well, I'll leave that with you then. Thanks for stopping anyway! Bye!" - Renault
That's what I thought! But they might have just wanted to clear the scene and pull up on the side road. They're a witness after all. As is the camera car 😠. Takes one minute to hand over your phone number in case they need your footage/statement.
1:43 it always amazes me how so many people are still so confused by this. Moving onto the wrong side of the road is only appropriate when there is no oncoming traffic with plenty of time and room to spare before there is, oncoming traffic. People seem to think that if they get there first, then oncoming traffic should wait for them. You don't have the right of way on the wrong side of the road. If the obstruction...parked cars, a stopped bus, a skip...whatever it might be, is on your side of the road, you do not have the right of way on the wrong side of the road!
Let's give some love to the police for having a sense of humour and sending that in
FAKE
Im researching that clip, the reg on the clip matches up with a Police vehicle
Let's not.
I don't know why I watch these, I can just drive to work and catch the live show
The second clip with the undercover officer 🤣
Usual standard cyclist at 4:24 Traffic lights are red. I know it's time to go. What a knobend!
Thank goodness we don't all drive around with guns.
There are well over half a million firearms certificate holders in the UK holding over 4 million legally owned guns. You probably had one of them drive passed you this morning. Guns don't have magical hypno-powers that turn people into killers you know, despite the shite pumped out by our government and media.
I’m no expert but I’m fairly sure there’s a difference between a firearms license and a concealed carrying license. Not trying to start a pointless argument in youtube comments, but I feel like that’s an important distinction.
Until teleporters are invented though you still have to drive the guns to and from the range, RFD etc
Lets not go forgetting about the million odd illegally owned guns aswell, hell that old guy across the street probably has some old guns in the attic that he once legally owned before the gun grabbers got their way.
I love it - The deaths don't lie, but the police and politicians explaining their background do. FYI the reference to transporting guns was to here, in the UK, not the US. I think i've seen about 3 videos where a gun is actually used in a US road rage incident and have heard of maybe a dozen more. Considering the number of guns and gun owners over there i think its an incredibly rare occurrence
First clip: STOP means STOP. No excuses. If you can't slow down in time, you were driving too fast in the first place. Speed limit or BACK TO THE TESTING CENTRE!
1:05- Screwed with the wrong car that night
Second clip: I think the phrase you're looking for is *"HAHAHAHA! Fkn EAT IT!"*
9:55 Woman needs to get her eyes checked. There are Too many illiterate people behind the wheel these days. She couldn't even SEE the road markings right in front of her.
The amount of people that have footage of an incident and choose to just drive off astounds me, not necessarily just in this video.
2:51 - Well you're clearly not a speed Demon are you? Overtaking like a snail at 61mph... No wonder he undertook you, frustrating Sunday driver.
That ending though 😂👍👍
8:40 Doesn't look like anything even happened
To be fair, if I were behind the camera car at 5:28 I would have thought they were parking.
The driver of the car had the right side of his vehicle sticking out into the road, this is indication to traffic he is not parked. He was just being kind and allowing oncoming traffic to pass
Trying an insurance scam on a un marked police car lmfao
Spray Can wasn’t a real copper, I’ve seen this shit before, also seen these fake blue lights on eBay
The last one demonstrates the importance of gun control. USA gives everybody guns and wonders why there's so many shootings...
A perfect law abiding citizen can become a murderer in a single moment of anger or confusion when guns are so readily available.
Really? lol
TelevisedChaos - Classic example of why women with PMT shouldn't be allowed to drive :-))
Absolutely. American Brit here, and it's really bad there are shooting all the time where I live. Someone that used to work for me was just recently gunned down whilst leaving a nightclub
I literally just said this when watching it 😂
when was the last time you heard of a shooting in america over someones bad driving?
I'll have to watch this again in slo-mo because though I knew something was going to happen [why would it be included otherwise?] it was still unexpected when it did. so many *WTF?!!* moments. Right-turn woman reminds me of an old cartoon "why should I signal for a turn? I turn here every day"
"I wish I a had a gun right now"
My response..
"Really, you want to borrow mine?"
At 1:58 driver did well to keep control and avoid more serious damage to his car.
Golf GTi driver, that's why 😉
The van that pulled out was TPS Volkswagen group car parts! How apt...😉
04:25 this is an interesting situation. The driver of the little black car hasn't actually done anything illegal. It had already progressed beyond the stop line when the light to it turned red, so wasn't actually under any obligation to stop. Believe it or not, NONE of the vehicles here had right of way - it's a joint priority cross roads with no give way lines. Be careful in these situations, just because your light is green doesn't give you priority over traffic from other directions that crossed their stop line before their lights turned red. But equally, they don't have priority either. You just need to be careful and work it out.
Isn't proceeding past the line before his exit is clear the thing that happened? If that was the case then surely he was indeed the one in the wrong
Bear in mind I am applying strict definitions of the law, but no. The vehicle proceeded beyond the STOP line on a green light, and stopped at the edge of the box junction because the exit road was blocked. That is perfectly legal. Once the exit road is clear, the car has entered the box, just as the light to other traffic was turning green. Therefore, everyone there has entered the junction lawfully. I agree it is far far better and safer practise to hold behind the STOP line at box junctions where your exit is not clear, but strictly speaking it is not required by the highway code - the only area you MUST NOT enter whilst waiting for you exit to clear is the boxed area itself (unless you are turning right and only prevented from doing so by oncoming traffic).
@@MrAzzy1985
I think he's definitely gone through a red light as there's no overlap period. The lights for the black car will have turned red before it proceeded.
No. If you look carefully, the black car is at the edge of the shot, and has already passed his stop line when the lights change. So, as already pointed out, he most likely crossed the stop line on green, and was just waiting for his exit from the box junction to clear.
It's still poor driving. It's basic common sense to stay behind the line until the box juncion has a clear exit, then there's no risk of getting caught out in the junction. But few drivers have any foresight these days.
the 2nd clip might just be my favourite thing ever.
Rest well Grandad. I'm sorry for your loss UKDC.
8:40 What are we looking for?
Maybe the oversize truck on the other side of the road, idk
C BUTT on the green trailer maybe?
Making the video over the 10minute mark probably
You know the clip is bad when you rewind it 4 times and still haven’t a clue what happened 😂😂😂
The disaster if the truck in front stops suddenly and a tanker with a flammable load gives it one up the Jacksie meanwhile you might be the lucky fella in the lane beside them.
Derek L - that junction is a death trap, it's about 400 metres from my house, although it's normally people going straight on into the farmers field, hope you were ok
For the love of god people stop using your phones to film your PC screen. You clearly already have the clip in digital format, just send it in with a note about the timestamp.
Raw clips can be quite large.
bigsend? wetransfer? plenty of ways to send large files
@ Squall Loire couldn't agree more.
Well, let's do the maths:
3 minute clip on my cam is around 300MB at 1080p/30fps, around the same for 720p/60fps (won't typically be in raw format, usually compressed MPEG, AVI or MOV).
UK average upload speed is around 9.9Mbps or 1.2MB/s.
So that's around 4 minutes to upload if you're recording in 3 minute clips, 7 minutes for a 5 minute clip, and so on. Most dashcams cap out at 10 minute clips, because this uses up space quickly (you'll fill a 64GB card in a little over an hour).
If you're going to submit a clip, you can spare 10 minutes to do it right ;)
0:50 This is the sweetest kind of karma I have ever seen! ^_^I hope they will drop the soap in the shower.
Sometimes I watch a clip and think, what did I miss!
@8:04 Not sure why anyone would willingly submit a clip with them nearly clearing out a bike. Even if you don't know the road, if the traffic on the left lane isn't moving and you're unsighted going forward it's generally a good idea to anticipate it's stopped for a reason.
2.50.
Demon, if you hadn’t been in the overtaking lane on a dual-carriageway, subject to a 70mph speed limit, but travelling at 61mph, maybe the idiot in the van wouldn’t have been so frustrated.
The chemistry between the last two is electric. I reckon they’re happily married now with 6 children.
These videos make me so glad I don't drive anymore, the bus is much safer and bigger.
Second clip was gold 🤣🤣🤣
Love watching your videos keep up the good work
At the first clip...red light runner be like “why’d you hit my car?”
5:50 I have done that myself a few times. It's pretty easy, especially at a junction you are not familiar with
The fact there are these type of people frightens me!
If you ride a moped or motorcycle at least wear gloves if no other protective equipment, road rash on arms and legs can be fixed (sort of) but scrapped away fingers cannot.
I always like to remember that long bones fix fairly easily, and quickly, small bones, close together, joined with tendons and muscles do not heal well, if at all. That said I also remember the pain after my bike crash. Gloves aren't enough. Full gear can, and does save lives.
Does it surprise me that 1 of them videos is in Newcastle
That last one was crazy. GUN??! I hope he reported her! 😡
8:41 my dirty mind thinks the clip is about the truck saying C BUTT on the side of it 🤣
TFM Dan's clip is a prime example of someone who "Should NOT have a licence, it was a Woman like this one who cost me my car.
I 'Proved in court' that SHE was to blame(lady judge too).
These people should have their driving privileges removed.
0:50 instant Karma 😂😂
golf gti rip 2:05. not dashcammer fault
this week is a "bumper" audi issue
He was going way too fast for the conditions and time of day though. It meant that if anything happened if front of him, he would have no time or space to take avoiding action, and this was the case in the end.
Looks barely 50mph on a national speed limit road with no pedestrians or buildings and in sunny conditions. What speed do you expect him to do, 20mph and get rear ended? He did well to avoid the guy pulling out on him, who I can only assume was just coming off his phone because there's little other explanation.
I know what you mean but I am very wary when approaching side roads with waiting cars eager to launch etc, so I naturally back off a bit just in case. Not saying I am perfect or never get anything wrong because I do.
i think i would have backed off slightly due to the vans position, but my first thought was that the van pulled out intentionally... but yes perhaps on phone or blind !
@@deanoandrew My thought too. The van was stopped at the stop line, the cam car seemed to be moving within the speed limit and not excessively fast for the conditions. Suddenly the van pulls out half way across the road at a point that the oncoming (cam) car was clearly visible. The cam car had no chance whatsoever to avoid that impact.
Great compilation!
4:35, well done Kevin O you seem to be the only one at those lights that realised the car on the junction in front of you has the right of way
I think it is admirable that Britain allows blind people to drive...
One thing ive found from watching these compilations is the lack of concern for other drivers involved in an accident. you witness it, record it and carry on driving......
nothing worse then seeing your own hometown appear 🤦🏼♀️
Tom M at 6:20. WTH dude? Just leaving a crash site albeit a small one? Without helping? And with a camera? Wow... I hope you sleep well at night..
Also illegal. www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/1988/52/section/170
2:06 assume the truck didn't tap the cam car, would they be able to claim on the trucks insurance for the damage of hitting the fence avoiding the collision?
And likewise because they lightly tapped does that mean the truck car now needs to pay for all damage on the car from the fence and the tap?
with the camera evidence the truck driver is going to be the one getting screwed. but thats also a good reason to swerve more directly into the stupid persons car. rather than swerve into oncoming traffic and potentially die because of some idiot who then probably just drives away.
The CPS list of prosecutable road offences includes "causing danger to other road users" and "failing to conform to a traffic sign" (the give way lines would count I'm sure). So with the dash cam, the truck driver would undoubtedly be prosecuted and held responsible. Without it, they'd probably get away with it.
As for swerving into the car, that can still cause you to die. So your logic seems to be that doesn't matter if you die or not, just make sure the other driver has a big bill to pay 🙄. Swerving in to a vehicle can also cause fatalities beyond yourself, especially if there are kids involved too.
It's very easy to say "oh, just plough into the car/van anyway" from behind the keyboard. When it actually happens, there's only a split second to decide what to do, and most of that "decision" is unconscious reaction, which for most people is to avoid the immediate hazard (the vehicle emerging). Other hazards, such as fences or oncoming traffic are things to deal with in the future (even if it is less than a second into the future). Same when someone pulls across into your lane on a dual-carriageway: instinct makes you swerve away, even though you may be swerving into another vehicle.
The second one is brilliant
Omg I've missed your videos!
The mobile checks from around 07:50. The traffic is standing still, so thats when people are allowed to use the phones, when the car is stationary. Lets assume most put it away again when the traffic starts moving again.
Engine on, in traffic. It's illegal.
Tom M that was good of you to drive off after witnessing an accident and catching it on your cam.
Today I drove with the boot open I didn’t even realise until I was at some traffic lights and of course they change green when I see it 🙈🙈 😭 😭
I don't get how someone doesn't notice their boot is open, I mean don't you check your rear view mirror frequently?
KT I did but must’ve had a lapse in concentration. One of my mates but his bag in the boot and didn’t close it the fucking idiot. Anyway we were on a 20 road that was dead straight so I didn’t need to check it
Max 33 did that road have any side roads?
Will's Wood Workshop no
@@chilts2174 how did you not hear that it was open? Even driving slow, the road noise as well as the noises from your car would have been louder surely

Last vid was the best. So much mouth and she knows she was in the wrong.
I love A Summers' reaction haha
2.50 Anglian Paving and Building... what a great advertisement.
What happens in 0:29? The car from the right clearly seems to ignore the fact they are now on red and it appears to spear from the side the blue Ford Fiesta. I could be wrong.
Soooooo, the spazda woman wants to shoot that bloke because SHE was in the wrong lane?! Am I missing something?!
That third clip at 1:34 is dated 01/10/2018. It’s from the futur!
The Tom B one at 6:00 has the hallmarks of a truck driver texting at the wheel.
Imagine if there was a cyclist stopped behind the car, or a pedestrian trying to slip behind the black car to cross the road.
Any more info on the 1st clip please? Truly a shocking crash. Hope everyone is ok especially the people in the blue car
"Fuck me" is a rather appropriate comment, for someone called A Summers. 😀
One thing that annoys me don't know why but. When you catch a crash on dashcam and just drive off. Not even stopping to make sure the drivers and others are ok or not. Annoys me but don't know why 😂😂
And just PERHAPS one of the drivers could use that vid to exonerate him/herself.
Hello mate, any recommendations for a dash cam UK ?
That poor GTI :'(
The only consolation is that it was a GTI.
6:54 to be fair, the bus was in lane the whole time, i think that's the fence that was at fault
'8:39 - Can anyone tell me what we're supposed to be looking at or for?
Tailgating at 65mph, tanker carrying kerosene.
8:40 might have something to do with the tanker (possibly full) of flammable liquid tailgating
He was not really tailgating, iv seen worse.
He would just be slipstreaming, us truckers trust each other in these moves.
@@Chris-fy8rk It's the vehicles in front of you that you can't see that's the problem unless your trustworthy friend helps you out by not having you slam into the back of him with your possibly dangerous load. A lot of bad "truckers" these days who will happily sacrifice other drivers.
