best city I've been to in the world! no gimmicks just a relaxed atmosphere and a great town to walk around and take in the sights. Adelaide oval is spectacular and the whole design of Adelaide is spot on.
@Artere Laksamana huh? Adelaide is a gorgeous city, I've traveled and lived in different continents & cities, currently San Diego, CA, USA, and Adelaide's easily #1 - ease of travel, walk friendly city, outskirts with beaches & outer areas like Victor Harbor, & Middleton for surfing, & Barossa Valley is pretty awesome.
@Artere Laksamana hi Artere, appreciate your comments & takes, I guess mine differ somewhat and imo I think SDiego is somewhat over-rated & getting way too crowded, albeit, it's a nice city, & really pretty. I lived briefly in Del Mar (couldn't wait to leave due to the feel of elitism); then Ocean Beach for 10yrs, & now Mission Valley (wasn't able to afford buying a place in OB, so had to go inland), only plus, near freeway entrances, but Mission Valley has little character due to multi-story apartment complexes going up by the dozens, and that detracts. I guess where I put Adelaide above San Diego is may be best described as better quality of life over-all with easier commutes; easier access to beaches; better public transport; less fluid population; less density; less homeless issues; & you're right, I remember having to get to swim-team super early in SE San Diego (which the city seems to change names of suburbs every few years due to their gang issues & notoriety), and recall a few times actually hearing gunshots. I love a lot of things about San Diego & weather's superb as you pointed out, but I loved the ease of getting around Adelaide & beach suburbs (which seem to be super clean in comparison to some spots here in SDiego), the architecture, the vibe of of Rundle Mall & surrounds, ease of getting to museums and def the Torrens, the art complex, & the activities like the Fringe, & not far to get to the Barossa Valley. Same token, places I love here in SD are La Jolla beach area & northern beaches, Balboa Park, the Zoo, North Park, downtown, but that yet again is changing with shops & retail closing and high-tech sneaking into places like Horton Plaza. Whereas Adelaide seems to have a heart, I don't feel like San Diego has a true center feel, if you can't drive you're screwed - everything is spread out, parking's a nightmare, freeways were designed with a population that was great back in the 1950's, and city planning isn't take note as I'm seeing the slow change of several neighborhoods, just sad to see some gorgeous bungalows in say OB being torn-down & multi-apt buildings being built instead (due to high volume of renters, that's going to continue as they're not the ones that usually go to city planning hearings to stop developments coming in).
Artere your a cockhead mate, I can tell that by the patronizing and snippy tone of your writing. If you dont like my city thats fine dosnt bother me, just dont be a FUCKHEAD about it!
As a teen I would have to commute into and out of town morning and afternoons 5 day's a week to get to School.. This video made me miss the city (almost) I now live in the tranquil Barossa valley...... I would not change it for the world
Yu Zhang you’d be extremely surprised, it gets a bit congested but nothing major at all. The only problems now are the new infrastructure projects temporarily closing lanes but when that’s done it should be even better!
Maybe do some videos. I born Perth but lived Adelaide most of my childhood until 17 now in Texas. The video shows alot of new building I don't recognize at all. I remember old buildings.
Great for walking and biking. Adelaide is small enough to be able to get around without a car. But improved public transit (especially investment in trams, light rail or trains) could really make Adelaide future-proof and be a world class city. So looking at you Adelaide/SA to get moving on large infrastructure investments. Right now it’s a great provincial city, very livable!
@@tomikastretton9774 doesn't look like it. Grew up in Adelaide Semaphore Road miss home maybe i can go there one day been a long time since 2004 last time I went back home
I agree. Adelaide would be made a much better place especially in view of threat from climate change if trees were made an integral part of city infrastructure improvements for a cooler future in a warming world.
I love warm climates , that weather alone is worth it all , all the Australian cities are beautiful .

Moving here in June 😎
December summer
Adelaide is all the year is cool or fresh
Winter June until 31August my favourite sesson
January February and March are the hottest months with extreme heatwaves. Adelaide is definitely not cool or fresh all year.
So different now, five years on.
Nice video man, however I think the soundtrqck could have been better
LM Zetster true, I had a limited no copyright music selection at that time
Had to turn down the volume! Nothing wrong with ambient sound btw.
moving there next year!
beatifull city
Remember my days of 2013 to 2015
Only one overpass bridge. The traffic must be hard in the rush-hour, no bridge leading out of the Cbd directly.

Adelaide was designed as a grid system, theres only 4 directions you can go (north, south, east, west) 1 of the best designed cities in the world.
Roger hodgson
He also laid out christchurch in NZ. Penang was planned by captain light, colonel light' father.
im trying to get my work visa to move their.
Tasmania interchange with my island n Shamghai Beijing !!!
Different continents different food, you sell 50 cents or $1, 1 Kg more to public lah !!!

wow it's basically on the flat land.

Adelaide's got plenty of hills. Just hop on the Belair line train. It will take you to the hills.
traffic noise would have been far better than that nosense

It was in autumn thats why. There r many trees in adelaide
Dude! Adelaide is surrounded by park lands. This video just doesn't show them.
We have parklands that surround the city, and also if you look at the trees you's see that there are no leaves, it's autumn in that video
Adelaide has a buffer zone of parklands between the city and suburbs. It's planned well in that regard. We love our green space.
If you ain't living in Sydney, you're camping out...
Most people in Sydney are doing just that - can't afford a roof over their heads!
