The Problem with the Strymon BigSkyMX and HOW TO FIX IT!!

As you've probably seen and heard, I've discovered an annoying issue with the new ‪@strymon‬ BigSkyMX, which is it clips when you're in INFINITE mode. You can see more of it in this video here:

In case it was a fluke in this particular unit, I've reached out to Strymon support to see if they could help. I sent them the settings for this patch to recreate, and here is the emailed response:
"The INFINITE can clip if the signal builds enough within the pedal and is tied to input level. It will always clip eventually, just due to the nature of how it works and how it builds the signal on itself. This means that if it runs into an amp sim that is also generating gain, it could be clipping the amp sim or the HX."
The HX referred to here is the ‪@line6movies‬ HX Stomp used as the amp sim and interface. Nothing else was used initially.
In this video, we also have the ‪@SpacemanEffects‬ Apollo VII with a very mild amount of overdrive...you'll see why.
I've figured out how to "fix" the problem, and that's be reducing the OUTPUT LEVEL on the preset...down to 1 or 2 out of 16! This means, that the reverb overall in this instance is really really low. Lower than I'd like. Unusable really for anything distinct.
Is it a fix? Yes and no. Can/will Strymon fix this in a firmware update? Only time will tell...
