The more I watch Capt CA, the more I see all the old bass fishing techniques that work for inshore fishing.

Great information! Something I use all the time especially when it starts to get a little later in the morning!

This is vital information, after this stretch of mid 40-degree nights.
Thank goodness it didn't get into the mid 30s.
The temperature getting down to 44F was bad enough!

That exact jerk shad right is killer for me for trout…What’s more, it is my predominant lure to use. I don’t leave home without one of those on my rod….

      I think that’s a great idea

A jerk shad and paddle tail are two baits, already tied on, when fish inshore.

Would love to see more detail of how to rig different soft baits with the correct hooks. Good episode and thank you for your tips.

Have always enjoyed your content over the years. Thanks. Could you talk a little more about the nose rig you showed briefly for snook fishing on a future video.

Agreed. Last season I had a lot of success nose hooking the original zoom flukes in white ice on small circle hooks

If I think what you are talking about is correct...For tarpon...Can't beat the wild action of a 10" HeroZ, nosed rigged.
Large HeroZ baits also catch snook. Perhaps Captain C.A. would show us the large bait terminal tackle and rod set up that works best for him.

A one-two punch ... darn, that's sneaky. Old garage-sale hard plastic poppers *without rattles* are easy to find, and todays fish have never seen one. Plus, some of them have 3 treble hooks.

Seven inch jerkshad works also and cast farther. May just be good for the East Coast.😅

I like those bigger jerkshad types on weedless weightless hooks for exactly this response/reason, even getting them to break the surface on occasion draws some enormous blow-ups once a fish gets lit up.

Love your videos! I’d like to see a video that covers planning your fishing day. Specifically, where to start a trip if low tide is at 8:00am and what to do when high tide is at 8:00am. Tides have such an impact on fishing and navigation here on the Nature Coast, and I could use some help here. Thanks!

I see what you did there with “bait and switch bait switch”. 😂 clever!

Idk if the cap has already got a video about water clarity and what color baits match well but I’d definitely love to know what color jerk shadz to get.
