Man I really wish these 3.3 TDIs were available as manuals.
Have problem with the engine irregularly shuting down, sometimes with full throttle sometimes just little press on gas. Also i have very long start up and when the car is hot then it takes longer to start the engine. No error on both ECU. Everything is fine the fuel tank aslo. Maybe some advice what to check?
1. Check how many volts the battery is. Minimum for this model is 100 Ah. This engine requires a lot of energy when starting.
2. Check with what current the battery is being charged, so you will know if your alternator is working.
3. Check the fuel filter if and when it was last changed and, accordingly, the valve which is on top of the fuel filter - it is attached with 1 metal spline.
4. Because normally these cars are already over 300,000 km and accordingly their fuel pumps go, it means that you should not have an empty tank, but always more than half full
