My wife and I have watched this video on RUclips and Facebook several times. It is an incredible story of hope, survival, and love. The story brought tears and touched us deeply. We are very happy for Vulcan. To know he was near death, but you didn't give up on him. Just look at how Vulcan responded to the great care and love he received! Animals know when they are loved. Vulcan knows he is loved. You can see it in every expression in this video. Now in a loving home and with his best friend in Cali (that precious 3-legged dog), we hope Vulcan and Cali will live full & happy lives together. Traumatic memories can impact animals for years, but with graceful love and tenderness, animals recover just like people recover. We want to express our gratitude to God for putting it within your heart to save little Vulcan and giving him a loving home. God loves the animals, indeed. Our prayers for all the families and all the animals who were impacted by the horrific Carr fire that swept through that area and many other areas across our great nation. And multiplied blessings to Vulcan's rescuer and caregiver. God bless you.
@@justdan5735 Dan, we love animals and appreciate the work others do to care for them, especially animals that have been been through tough times. Is it okay if we ask if his medical expenses have been paid up? Did you set up a 'go-fund-me' account?
I just learned about this story from The Dodo and then seeing your Instagram page. Thank God for you and the vets and vet techs who nursed him back to health. Such an inspiring story that brought tears to my eyes. I’m so glad you found each other. And to see the bond between Vulcan and your sweet dog....so touching!
Seen this video on instagram and instantly looked it up we need more people like you in the world you have not only saved this kitten but you gave him a home as well❤️
0:1:37 Awww seeing that little kitten in bad shape broke my heart. :( 0:2:22 Awww poor kitty. Seeing that helpless cat in that bad condition is so sad. :( 0:2:38 This cat brought tears to my eyes when I saw how bad he looked in the photo. 0:3:05 You can just tell by the looks in his eyes and how he's acting, that there is hope to survive and to fight. 0:3:18 Awww, Vulcan is a cute and adorable name for him. The name fits him perfectly. 0:3:41 Awww, he looks happy and you see that he's willing to fight because he looks like he really wants that person to adopt him and he wants a new home to call his own. 0:3:59 Awww!!! That brought tears of joy to my eyes that he recovered really fast. I guess there was hope and faith for him. :) 0:4:23 Awww, a cat and dog together, that's a cute bond that they are having.
Oh my goodness.... I cried so hard!! You are an amazing man not to give up on him. I love the name choice. Thank you Haven Humane for getting Vulcan well!
Thank you man, you are a hero for her and for humanity, because you gave her, this kitty a second opportunity of life and a very happy live. Vulcan is alive, loved and very happy with Cali and you, her human family.
Watching through tears as I am also a total cat lover! Saw this video on The Dodo YT channel. Vulcan is a perfect name. He now has a loving home, thanks to you. ❤️ Do you plan to make any new videos of Vulcan?
Omg what a beautiful, beautiful story. So heart-wrenching and hard to watch, but it has a beautiful happy ending. I would love some updated videos on Vulcan!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤😻😻😻😻😻😻
Hi Sarah, for the past two years Vulcan had been living his best living his best life with me, my wife and his big sister Cali, but sadly about 5 weeks ago during a bad thunder storm Vulcan left our property and attempted to cross a road in front of our house that he normally doesn't cross and was struck by a car and killed instantly. I buried him under his favorite tree in my backyard. I have had plans to make a video explaining what happened, but it has been extremely difficult for me to find the words to say. He was very special to me and losing him has been very hard on my family. I plan to make a memorial video about him and share the pictures and videos of him from the last two years, but I'm finding it hard to put something together. You are actually the first person that I have told this to outside of my friends and family... I'm not sure why I felt like I needed to explain it, but maybe this is the first step towards telling others what happened. I am sorry to drop this news on you, I am sure this is not what you were hoping to hear and believe me that I wish like crazy that I could tell you that he is still here with me today.
@@justdan5735 I am almost speechless. Thank you for replying back to me and my heart is so incredibly heavy. I am literally crying reading this. Your video on Vulcan touched my heart so deeply. It was so painful to see him suffering and burned, but his happy ending made it so amazing. I can't even imagine how you and your family are feeling. Life can be very unfair and unexpected. My kiddos & I have a fur baby cat named Minka. We got Minka when she was 12 weeks old on Thanksgiving Day 2019. We rescued her from a home that was hoarding cats and living in complete filth and neglect. Vulcan, really stood out to me because he looked a lot like my Minka. I really felt a special connection watching the video & the story on Vulcan. I can't even begin to imagine dealing with that kind of loss; especially after such Triumph. Just know, you came into vulcan's life when he needed you most. Even though it was a short amount of time, just know, the time Vulcan had with you from the moment he laid his weak head in your hand and you were able to take him and all the way to his last breaths, were all spent in love, care, nurture, comfort and Triumph. It's wonderful knowing there's amazing people in the world like you who didn't give up on a cat that most would have just put down. You are a wonderful person to stick by Vulcan side, get him well and love him. Also, his beautiful, adorable amazing connection with Cali, your dog fur baby was so wonderful to see. I'm sure Cali is missing her friend. Again, Thank you for sharing you're beautiful story with Vulcan to the world. I'm so incredibly sorry for your loss. Vulcan was so lucky, but I can almost bet you feel even luckier. Rip Vulcan 😿❤🙏🏻
@@justdan5735 Oh no I can't tell you how sorry I am that he passed. My heart is breaking. You gave him a wonderful life. Fly free and little Vulcan, your time here was too short
God Bless you, I am proud of you, and so sorry, terribly sorry for your loss. Thank you for giving this baby all the love in the world. I appreciate the heaviness of the hurt laid on you. Lifting you and yours in prayer right now.

That kitty lived through hell, poor little guy. I'm amazed he made it. Bless our first responders.
