  • This was never intended to be a full restoration. Just wanted to shop it and do some cab touch ups. Once I got started I realized the cab was drywall screwed together and needed repairs. Then the Mylar removal on the playfield removed some paint and got way more involved than I planned on. You can follow all my game restorations on Facebook under " Arcade Artifacts by Bill Heatherly"

Amazing. Better than from the factory for sure. How about a tour of your garage sometime? Looks like some really cool projects in there!

Spraying is a bit of a mystery to me. Was not expecting to see a clear coat and then color touch-ups on top of that.

@ 6:22 Amazing work, as always. What's the story on The Amazing Mechanical Man?

Thank you! Not sure what Mechanical man! but I think it was probably a Williams Ten Pins I am restoring now.

@@bheath8295 @ 6:22 Looks like a rare fortune teller. Can't wait to see the Ten Pins video. (By the way, I think you mixed up the order of one of the clips -- because you show the restored playfield with plastics on it -- then we go back to another clip where you're putting the plastics back on it. I've enjoyed your videos for years, and it's great to know you're out there doing God's work!

How did you polish the lock-down receiver? How do you "refurbish" the metal pieces and get them so clean?
