These are really cool but I'm actually a bit heartbroken that the Tallgeese has this amazing evade animation but the Tallgeese III doesn't lol.

My guess is because we don't see Tallgeese 3 doing a lot of evading in EW

They all look good to me, if i have to choose. I'd choose freedom, just because the beam cutting is just unique, and look very very cool.
@@mechamaro5600 Although CE beams don't work like that though! Beams don't clash in CE, which is why the shields mounted on the forearms are needed.
I feel like that was supposed to be a missile evasion animation, but they probably screwed up and programmed that beam rifle animation as a missile or something.
@@RanRii Actually with the way the animations work that probably isn't the case at all. All projectiles in evade animations are dependent on the attacking unit's choice, all units have one evade animation for ranged attacks, doesn't matter what type the attack is.
In other words, attacker shoot bullet, defender evades a bullet. Attacker shoot beam, defender evades beam.
It's not a programming bug it's just an oversight, the devs probably just didn't feel like making two special evade animations just in case it gets targeted with a beam weapon instead of missiles or shells.

@@RanRii the Freedom was cutting beams from the Providence's DRAGOONs during the METEOR segment of the fight.

That is unfair, Freedom and Strike Freedom got their evasion animation, while Destiny and Impulse did not have their own. I can really call that discrimination
I guess Shinn doesn't really evade often in the anime, he often charge into crowds and destroy them all. Instead of evading elegantly in long range
well they call jesus kira...so yeah extra animation for him

@@none-q4o he evades while charging. If you rewatch the scenes where he fought against the Destroy on the moon. You can see him actively dodging while simultaneously charging in episode 44
Guys... Please, it does not matter what the fxck who does what in the anime. Bandai will make extra efforts for the popular guys and will always be. It has been like that for decades.

The after images are used for the Trans Am attacks if I'm not wrong
@@Vangror yeah, I've noticed that, but I'm just a bit bummed out that the Trans-Am evasion animations don't include the after-image 😮💨
