Fun exploit fact: During the fight with Loyd if you had equipped one of your character with an accessory that prevents one-hit KOs you can have that character turn into a Dragoon and Loyd will waste every turn or every other turn using his Instant Death move on that character, allowing the rest of the party to attack or heal.
Yep, my brother and I exploited this technique. We played the game over at least three (3) times, and once to nearly 100%, getting all the stardust! The one thing we lacked one time was "Dabas' Shiny bag"
@@victorcippitelli2242 The Talisman accessory. You can actually get two before the Loyd fight if you're lucky. One is in the Valley of Corrupted Gravity and one is on the ghost ship inside the chest you have to guess the number combination to. It's easier to get with the PS5 version where you can rewind time infinitely so you have no fear of losing the treasure forever. Another fun exploit fact is after the Loyd fight you can make a detour in the snow plains to reach the old human capital where you can get Rose's Hairpiece and fight a VERY powerful boss with a sword that can insta--kill you. If you got both Talismans and use Rose with the Hairpiece because it ALSO prevents insta-kills, you can go into any future boss fights with no fear of ever getting one shotted ever again.
Guy, do you know how amazing it is to see a deep dive into one of the best RPGs of my childhood after 20+ years of complete silence? You the MAN!!!! Thanks a million for this. Merry Christmas!
The other thing was a bit more touching ... Also ... I will never understand how this guy was prime minister of the two conflicting reign at the same time ...
Awesome you return back into Legend of Dragoon analysis :) ! One minor error: it was Lloyd who awakened the Divine Dragon breaking the seal after taking the Dragon Buster who, along with the Dragon Blocking Staff, acted as the lock of the seal, not the dragon awakening because, he wanted to kill the mighty dragon because the legendary king of dragons Lloyd thought could be a wrench in his plans.
Been checking back occasionally to see if you had added to the LOD playlist. Glad to see you did another one! Will be listening on my way to work tomorrow morning.
Hey Strictly, have you seen the Soul Reaver documentary by NoClip? If not, I recommend you check it out, especially the number of auditions that were done by numerous VA heavy weights; no joke, we could have ended up in a timeline where the whole VA cast of Metal Gear Solid could have ended becoming the Soul Reaver cast lol
Oh my goodness, the quality of the LOD videos is increasing. Thanks to the Severed Chains project. I actually went all the path from hating Lloyd after killing Lavitz to respecting his ideals and almost forgiving him. After what he did, he never could be a friend. But in death, he did find his redemption. Everyone gets what he deserves. And Lloyd atoned for his sins.
Glad your back bro , and merry Christmas, nice video , make world of darkness aka werewolves apocalypse about there history and there werebeast if you like 👍, thank you
Didn't they like only interact once? When she called him out in front of Queen Theresa of having ulterior motives. Luanna being able to sense the bloodlust and darkness emanating from the Wingly.
I think the thing is we are told how cunning Lloyd is, we never actually see it. Someone walking around hooded and mysterious practically isn't going to gain anyone's trust, it's just an old trope of hiding who is clearly going to be a villain later. He also avoids the consequences of his actions, admittedly to me an irritating trope in itself. Evil people are capable of good deeds. An evil act is an action and you can be judged on that act and his are multiple. Lloyd endangered and took lives through his methods and Dart isn't the one to decide for those effected., but he avoids repercussions by sacrificing himself. I think it's made worse for the fact the game does the exact same thing with Rose. No one answers for their crimes except the big bad, which is hardly in the game. I'm not trying to be harsh on the game, it's just the execution of the story wasn't strong and you can tell where it was unfortunately influenced by FFVII. It's not the only game guilty of that form the time.
I agree with you except the last part where you said influenced by FF7. Many players unfortunately downgrade Legend of Dragoon for being FF7 copycat because of the game being released in 2000. The fact that not many players know that both FF7 and LoD started around the samet time when it comes to developing and production of the game. The difference that LoD was delayed that is all.

I'll never forgive him for making me look like a nerd in the tournament ... and the other thing too
The other thing was a bit more touching ...

Lloyd reminds me so much of Kain in a way. He commits horrible atrocities but he does them for what he believes is the greater good.
The difference is that Kain was driven insane by Nupraptor’s insanity which was why he was a dick.
This game needs a remake SOOOOO bad!
I'd settle for a re-translation lol

Many thanks for all your video's throughout 2024! Happy Christmas to you and everyone!🎉🎉🎉
Same to you, my brother!
God bless you, and God bless Legend of Dragoon!

Which Legend of Dragoon character study are you going to do next? Kongol, Meru, Haschel, Lavitz, Albert, Shana, Miranda or Zieg?
@@samflood5631 Best bro, Lavitz.

Thanks for letting me know. No I haven't seen this. I'll check it out.
Oh hell yeah! I didn't know you did LOD content!!!!
Well this is a nice unexpected surprise.
I've been waiting for another LOD video. It's old, but I love me some LoD

No way no way no way!
I thought the world had forgotten about Lloyd!
DUDE! I'm gonna share this with my brother! 😆😆😆
And another BANGER of a video!
Glad your back bro , and merry Christmas, nice video , make world of darkness aka werewolves apocalypse about there history and there werebeast if you like 👍, thank you
Not only was Lloyd a wingly, he was also a sussy baka.
😮 A NEW VIDEO!!!
LIoyd is my favorite character in that awesome game
Thx pal, great video.
That was a funny game
I wish he would end up with the blind lady, they would get married and have lots of children; but than my dreams were destroyed

@@gjtrue they interacted several times (including when he saved her life)
Legend of Dragoon was an OK game, but man, that voice acting was....hoo boy. Lavitz and his "Gust of Wind Dance!" will never make me not cringe.
I swear Lavitz sounded like Tom Hanks when he shouted that move lol.
Meru the spunky wingly is way stronger than Lloyd!
