    I had another idea for making a flare. Make a skin on the part you want a flare on. Build all the body lines out of pink foam. Use your tape method to get the shape. Spray some water the the tape cavity and then great stuff foam. It will fill the cavity and cure fast. Then just take the tape off and build your flare. Use plaster of Paris to quickly get a surface you can sand.

      @TheBunnyDeveloper 4 года назад

      @@manuelmunos5674 Transmissions aren't used in Tesla because the motors can virtually rev to about 20k rpm, they use a 9.73:1 final drive ratio to increase the torque so most Tesla's aren't really able to go for 200mph but they get insane acceleration times. By transmission I mean one in a gasoline car that you can change gears, it all depends on what you want, acceleration or top speed.

      Joey, the book is an inside joke for the long time viewers as there is no manual. The frame and fiberglass panels are from a K1 Attack kit. Because I am doing an electric Tesla motor there has been a great deal of going off script from the typical K1 attack. Thanks for watching!

      @@electricsupercar Np, great video... Thanks for putting it out. That's a pretty amazing kit and great project. Did you need special mounting for the Tesla motor? What were the additional costs for the engine, batteries, and stuff you had to buy for the electrical setup? Almost have me sold me on building one of these.

      @@joeycaughey The kit is made for a Honda Accord drive train, so I did need to modify the frame mounting points to mount the Tesla motor. I am doing a cost episode soon, so stay tunned!
