You did an huge work. Only, for safety, I would have put on steering, bolt head up and nut down. So, if a nut loosen, you don't lose the steering capability. Basic racing principle.
Hi there, I am working on my E car project as well. I need help with finding the microcontroller. What did you use in your car? Can I use arduino? or you would prefer something else? Please help. Thank you
When you say "microcontroller", are you referring to the motor controller? I used the controller from ev-controls. www.ev-controls.com/product/ev-controls-t-1c/
Wow loving this what a great day worth all the effort. Top work. Cramming in all day 16 videos so far. Thanks for doing the From the start play list. Cheers
Motor and controller you can source from ebay or many EV companies (EV West, Stealth EV, EVTV). You need a battery pack capable of ~400V. As you can imagine there are many battery options.
I had another idea for making a flare. Make a skin on the part you want a flare on. Build all the body lines out of pink foam. Use your tape method to get the shape. Spray some water the the tape cavity and then great stuff foam. It will fill the cavity and cure fast. Then just take the tape off and build your flare. Use plaster of Paris to quickly get a surface you can sand.
