I have to be honest, I had pretty low expectations before watching this video. But wow I am pleasantly surprised! Love all the tech in this machine specifically! The digital gauge cluster is awesome and that center screen is very cool! I don’t typically think that many players compete with Polaris in technology, but I honestly think Polaris could learn a few things from Segway!

Polaris is the biggest joke in the industry you must not ride a lot that’s all you see broke and everyone who has had one polaris will never own another one , no side by side should have a belt anymore yamaha and Honda made that apparent when you can buy a yxz or talon and put 20k miles without having clutch issues and changing a belt

@@MiddlePark actually, you DO need a helmet in a SXS. Look up the statistics. Wearing a helmet is the #2 most effective way to survive an accident in a SXS, second only to being sober.

@@pavmentsurfer13 "Need"? Nope. If you want to wrap yourself up with bubble wrap go for it. I'm a child of the eighties, you won't scare me with propaganda and statistics from vested interest. If some extreme situation calls for a helmet or wearing one makes you feel better, more power to you. I ride dirt bikes, street bikes, all of it without one. Might not be for everybody, but I enjoy the freedom and the increase senses you have without wearing a bucket on your head. Not hearing or seeing properly due to a helmet on the road or trail can be deadly. I wonder how many ohv/motorcycle fatalities would have been avoided if a helmet was not being worn and the person was operating their ohv equipment safely with all their senses unimpaired?. If your skill level does not allow for this, or you don't accept the risks, then don't follow my example.

Great video as usual. A friend of mine has this exact model and him and I went on a 260km trip about a month ago. I was very impressed with it. It handled the rough spots on the trails a little bit better than my Can Am maverick sport xxc 1000r because of the trailing arms. The only issue he's had is the stickers are coming off already but Segway are sending him a new complete set. I do know of one other person that owns this exact model and he's dealing with a broken frame. Hopefully it's just a one off thing. I'm very happy that Segway has introduced there line-up in powersports. The more the merrier. I think it helps in a variety of ways and they are all positive. Keep the videos coming!!! 🇨🇦🍻✌️👍

Just bought a Segway Villain S10 X. This is my first purchase on a side by side. I came to the dealership to look at something completely different. When they rolled it out of the showroom I fell in love with this beast. It just looks more futuristic than any other side by side on the market. It's the Tesla of side by sides in my opinion. I am currently in the market for a sport SXS and I gotta say this one has peaked my interest greatly. The build quality, tech and styling cues are all great from what I see but my concerns are lack of aftermarket parts, OEM support and sustainability/longevity.
It is so new the question remains of how well it will last mechanically and accepted globally. If this is a "miss" in industry the people who took that plunge and risk to purchase will find themselves in an unsupported and discontinued rig with very few options to even get rid of it possibly.
Other than the "new" risk... I love this machine and is still definitely on my radar for purchase as well as the RZR XP 1000 and Zforce 950 HO EX.
Thank you for all the videos and reviews Dirt Trax TV..... these are invaluable to us as the end consumer/user. Keep them coming! Cheers

Hopefully Polaris and Can am will start to do so also. This sxs is basically a can am, motor is can am, shocks and a-arms are can am. But this , obviously isn't a bad thing at all. All the wiring and electronics are made by Bosch so thats good too. I love this thing! It checks off several boxes for me; it has long travel suspension to soak up the bumps, holes and stones, it's the right size for trailing riding (even in tight switchbacks, the inner fenders (and other areas) being enclosed will make clean-up easier, it has the same type of technology built into it that we're getting in our cars & trucks today, and it comes with other accessories that I'd have to spend more money on (winch, roof, mirror). I think having new companies entering the off-road market is great. It prevents the established manufacturers from getting lazy, especially when the new guys are offering quality stuff like this. I just totaled my RZR S, so I need to replace it. This is a definite contender against the Can Am Maverick Sport DPS.

Competition is great forces each manufacturer to up their game. Lots of nice features that are not add-ons from manufacture which keeps the guessing game down on what the extras will cost aftermarket. Not the machine for me personally but I can see if the price is reasonable that it will tick a lot of boxes for those looking to get into the sport.
Another great video very informative but I’ve come to expect nothing less from you guys. Keep up the great work.

When I first herd Segway was coming out with a SxS I have to admit that I was a bit close minded at first and expected it to be an epic fail. Now that they are out and I’ve seen them, not in person yet just video, I’m humbled to say I was wrong! I think Segway did an awesome job with it and brought a lot of innovation that has to have Can am, Polaris, Yamaha, Honda, CFmoto watching and maybe even sweating a little bit. Competition is good and drives innovation so hopefully the other OEM’s fire right back by stepping up their machines as well. However the thing that scares me is how that will drive the price of the all ready astronomical high priced machines even higher…lol.
Looking forward to seeing your full review!

    First impression was….huh🤨
After watching this, wow! Segway has been around for years, innovators. I would definitely consider buying one of these. It definitely would be a trail side conversation piece. The technology is crazy, little worrisome with mud and all, but worth the gamble. If that makes sense. It has all of the sport performance parts and now I’m curious to see how it performs. Looking forward to watching your next review of this 🤙🏻

I think it had a sleek look with an aggressive stance. I like the idea of having more brands out there to choose from. This way it creates competition for Honda, Polaris, Can-Am. The only draw back is has new brands emerge, it will take awhile for the dealer network to grow for maintenance and accessories. My only worry would be buying a unit and then shortly after the company going under. Just my two cents on the subject. I appreciate the video and your attention to detail. Also, that you give your viewers other options to think about when purchasing something that's costly.

As a long time ATV owner I am looking to get into a UTV this coming spring I like this model as I do NOT need to go super fast like most other UTV drivers I am just looking for some fun with a passenger and hall some gear when riding... I am impressed but I am still lokking learning and deciding what I need and what I like... but this looks to be a great starter UTV...

I like the front remote reservoir locations. Anytime you don't have to bend over...or crawl around on the ground to make ride adjustments is a good thing. As for newcomer manufacturers. The more players....the better the competition....and the raising of the bar with all brands major and minor. This was a great walk-around DTTV. I can't wait for you guys to review the new Cforce 500 G2 quad. Step up from everything else CFM has put out in terms of finish and ride quality. Great job on the Segway tho.

I love the looks. The 72" version has a more aggressive look. I'm an oddball and love the off brand rigs. I personally own a 7yr old Arctic Cat Wildcat 4X that is mildly modified and has never failed to do anything the big boys do except win a drag race.

New brands used to popup everywhere and have no dealer network. Like CFMoto for a long time. you needed the smallest of part, it took weeks to get and people just gave it a bad name and now years later, dealers are everywhere. Same for Segway I hope. I know in NB, we only have 1 dealer so far, but that will change as they are proving to be a strong competitor out of the box and 64" will be a winner in my books.

Great to have more competition in the market to have some of the other companies (which will not be named) forced to actually improve their products.

It sounds like it is well thought out functionally and ease of use. When you highlighted the hubs it made me worry less about the long term reliability. Visually the frame exposure and lines look continuous and gives me the feeling the frame is stout. Your comments about the suspension is more evidence that Segway is focused on performance and quality. Your video is the first I’ve seen of Segway, so haven’t researched the price, but quality, well designed thought out competition pushes the dominant brands to offer more at a lower price hopefully.

As long as they don’t do like Articat and quit building sxs I think they be fantastic! I love the hybrid concept of there machines! I have seen you tuber adrenaline junkie do a review for them about a year and a half ago and I love how they went above the look of a cf moto and sound like a snowmobile or sound like a wild cat. I believe they will be the next step and changing side-by-side history in terms of quality and technology with the features offered if they keep at it and build a solid reputation and don’t give up. I almost thought articat was going to make history with there wild cat trials and xx models. Oh well.
