It's a superb game.
Played about 20 hours on my ps5.
Haven't seen any MT's or frame rate issues.
Yep I'm about 8/9 hrs in and haven't scratched the surface yet.its kept me off helldivers2 and skull and bones for the last 5 days
I love the shadow of the colossus like environments with all the huge mountains and ancient ruins. The waterfalls, the vast sprawling landscapes. Feels very chill to me just exploring a immersive open world, very meditative.
So I'm lvl 43 with over 100 hours in. This is the best game I've played since elden ring raised my bar from the Witcher 3 lol

it's wonderful, exactly what i wanted from a sequel to Dragon's Dogma
I would definitely wait for any optimization changes in thr future but even in its current state it's still extremely fun.
Eventually I’ll get it not rushing to get it now
30 hours in, absoloute masterpiece, gives me that sence of magic that i havnt had since breath of the wild!!
For some reason, I couldn't get into dragon's dogma, no matter how hard I tried to. I'm a fan of fantasy adventures and I usually love open world games but I can't for the life of me figure out why I couldn't get into this particular one which ticks all the right boxes on paper. Anyone else had this problem?
Fun but after finishing horizons forbidden west and playing since yesterday not used with the 30 fps
Great game, I’m really digging the teamwork and the sim aspects. The AI of the pawns is surprisingly decent, an occasional hiccup here and there but mostly I find myself cheering them on and they even save my ass once in awhile. It’s really enjoyable stuff, can’t think of anything else quite like it.
I'm not getting it because it has problems and if I decide to buy it, I'll get it when it's less expensive. I also heard you can only have one save file which is nuts
This is such a dumb problem. Games have had multiple save files for decades. It's such an inconvenience to have to back up a save file, delete the data from your console, start again, then if you want to go back to the original save file you have to permanently delete the new one... Just allow plural save files. It can't be THAT hard.
From the comments oeople dont seem too be too haoly with performance. Im looking too buy something new too play over easter. Is the game worth it?

The only thing preventing me from getting it is the negative reviews relating to performance on pc, hope it gets fixed
My dilemma is do I buy it now with all of its technical issues, or wait until after several patches and then play it for - hopefully - the best possible experience 🤔

Wait for sure! It's definitely not a 9/10 in its current state - and probably won't be until DLC - but the amount of cheesing you can do because large enemies glitch is ridiculous & makes the rare good fights trivial (but a patch or two might fix that in which case I'd start it then for sure). Otherwise it's just a terrible story & fighting goblins every 10 steps.

I'll be waiting to see what will be done about performance, the current stage is a no go, unless you aren't playing at all any other games at 60 or higher fps.
Why does the graphic so PS4--sometimes even looks like 360?
Honestly I’ve had more fun with Rise of the Ronin so far (and Planet Zoo which dropped for consoles today! :) than I have had with DD2 so far 🤷♂️
How dare you have more fun with any other game than dd2 😂😂😂. Joking aside I will be getting rise of ronin whenever I can afford the ps5 but seeing mixed reviews half to see comments like yours of people enjoying it
I hated rise of the ronin
102 hours over 2 weeks and I just got to the Volcani Isles. Omg this game is Elden Ring PG13 all the way. This is my GOTY all the way. 🎉

My one and only issue that i cant shake is no lock on. Ive thrown myself of a cliff so many times trying to attack 🤣

I’m still playing rebirth. That game is amazing. This had promise but no. Ronin seems like last gen Ghosts. Waiting for stellar blade review and shadow of erdtree
I don’t blame ya, I’m disappointed in “rise of the ronin”. Team ninja seems to be going backwards ever since nioh 2. I just finished rebirth the other day and that game really is practically perfect (still mad I got barret as my date option).
P.s. They are releasing a stellar blade demo tomorrow so be on the lookout for it 👍
I really enjoy Ronin, it’s like Tsushima but with better combat. Tsushima was beautiful, but it was kinda easy. This one is harder and the combat feels nice. I think it’s a great game.
@@Annoh89 what difficulty you playing on? I have it on normal (was expecting the “normal” to be difficult since it’s a team ninja game. I’m finding it to be too easy unfortunately).Prob gonna try my next playthrough on the harder mode.
Yea try it on hard, it's way better. Combat-wise team ninja is just good at what they do. I feel like if you want the cinematic experience, play tsushima, if you want amazing combat, go ronin.@@RRrr-dt2vi
Ronin is pretty good. It’s not a graphical marvel but when you play it, it’s looks fine. Also gameplay is very satisfying. I took a gamble with that game and after 40 hours of playing it, I can say it definitely paid off.

Won't get it, this is a cpu limited game and the pro is getting a minimal cpu upgrade

12 years since dd1 now heres dd2, Skyrim 13 years ago but still no skyrim anytime soon.
Fair warning to anyone think about buying this you can lose HOURS WORTH OF WORK EASY. I lost at least 12 hours worth of work for dumb reasons

FF16 frame rate is still shit even in performance mode. I don’t have faith they will fix it.
While I had really high hopes for this game, I'm glad I didn't take the plunge and buy it. Furthermore I'll say, it also cemented my feeling that my days of buying games day one are truly over. I'd rather wait for the devs to "finish" the game then purchase or wait for a deep discount/sale.
Me too. I’m so glad I went with Rise of the Ronin instead. A visceral and brilliant open world Samurai RPG.

Bought it yesterday on ps5, spent an hour in just creating my character lol because it is very veryyyy detailed. So far I’m loving it. Vibe is a mixture between Skyrim and lord of the rings. Very fun so far.
This game doesn’t get fun for about 2 hours in honestly before that it feels painfully dated

In my opinion having played it once . Then giving up on a playthrough my thoughts is its boring repetitive and a walk fest from one part to rhe next waste of money . Certainly not game of the year .
It looks so bland for a fantasyworld. Boring almost and the framerate is horrible.
Rather play elden ring again😂

finally someone with a brain, to me dd2 looks like generic crap and the world looks and feels to empty for me. guess i am to spoiled by baldurs gate 3. also i will never play again a game with fps below 60, we are in 2024 not 2014 ffs
Controls are weird. Combat is jerky and whacky. And the followers your forced to have are just annoying. I feel like im the only one who actually really doesn’t like this game. All it does is make me wanna play elden ring instead. So i do.

Runs like crap on PS5. 20fps blurry textures laggy gameplay horrible voice acting just not good.
You must have a shitty ps5 my textures are clear and I don't think my fps have gone below 30 in even the biggest battles lol
