May's test makes sense. There's a reason why despite being rich, some rich guys in poor countries don't buy supercars or GT cars but rather buy luxury barges like S-Class, Maybachs, Rolls Royce or even the Bentley is because of a few factors. Speed and power isn't everything. It's how you apply it that makes it fast. You can drive a 92hp Suzuki Swift and still outbeat a 500hp Lamborghini in a countryside as those roads are bumpy and bad and while your Lambo may have the speed, you'll have to slow down to a crawl in order to not scratch the paint or damage the bodyworks due to expensive repairs if you do that. However in that Swift, you can plant your foot flat to the ground and just toss it around without a care if you scratch or ding something as the repair bills for those things are 10x cheaper than your GT/supercars. Now a Rolls and other luxury barges might not have the same repair bill as a Suzuki but their ride height are way higher than a normal GT/supercar thus when it goes on a bad road, it will not scratch the undercarriage so badly that it gives you worry and because it doesn't scrape, it could maintain a better speed per distance vs a contemporary GT car. This was one of my favorite tests on TGT as it does make sense. You can only go as fast as external factors around you allow, so a town like this will definately hold a faster car back. Heck, I felt held back in my normal sedan often due to all of the slowpokes and constant redlights I get in my own town. *Cute girl does anything*
Internet: OMG I LOVE HER
It's either that or no holds barred misogyny. There are no middle grounds on the internet.
@@CanalTremocos That's completely false. Most normal people don't care what gender someone is, its just the weirdos and creeps you feel compelled to comment on it.
@@CuriousDiscourse I wish I had your ISP. You seem to have a much better internet.
I mean she is a good driver
@Ivan Kodonev ?? Stig Is BBC property
0:24 Son Gohan has got nothing on Jeremy Clarkson 😂
I like how you make it sound like James came up with an idea, then spent all of 12 hours to get it all arranged, including flying Abbie out to race like this, and still make his point.
Blast from the past, that very same Renault 9 was my second car :) Only 4 speed transmission, manual windows, but ... a computer with petrol mileage! :D
The only real factor, is acceleration, without breaking the law, all cars can only go a certain speed on roads so top speed is pointless.

No one else can come up with these real life situation simulations than this trio 🤘🏼😁
Why is nobody talking about the guy who's on his phone while driving at 1:32?
Not really fair, the lady is overtaking cars not respecting full lines while the other 3 are 100% respecting.
We want more of Abby! I would like to see her at the end of the race with a smug face looking at the trio. I think it would be a nice touch
The Best Grand Tour Episode YET
Gotta say, I do like how old boxy European cars look
I don't know why, there's something about them
How they made cars designed with a ruler look good is a mystery
Nice race. Like the idea.
I like how all of three got surrounded by lada's on all sides.
Btw abbie's cute as hell.
Wishing for your speedy recovery Abbie!!!
I see this all the time in the real world. People driving around weaving in and out of traffic endangering people's lives just to get a few seconds ahead. Then i pull up next to them at a red light. Was it worth it bud?
This episode shoot in Azerbaijan Ganja city🇦🇿. Thanks for this amazing tour, Grand Tour Team❤

Abby is so good, wish we saw more of her.
They should do more Trio vs. Abby challenges.
And i miss conversation street
I had a Renault Alliance once and it was a quick and handy little car. Not fast top end wise but quick and nimble in traffic.
Abbie can some kind of drive ! Hope you guys can work her into the upcoming 4th season !
