Little Taste of Hawaii love it
It was a really cool event!
You find the coolest places
We try to find some unique places to break up the same old, same old with theme parks.
Love that place. If you’re still in the Ft. Lauderdale area, Tate’s Comics is worth checking out. Also the new Hard Rock Guitar hotel. Have fun!
We’re back home already, but will add Tate’s to the list for when we’re back down that way again. We’ve been by the Hard Rock not too long ago. Very cool place.
8:22.....good thing those guys didn't fart. They would have had a totally different show with that fire. 🤣
That would have created an epic finish!
3:44 the flava flav of tiki lol 😂
It's true!
3:40 Flava Flav is one Freaki Tiki & belongs out in the tropical garden to get his Freak-On with those big Freak'n wooden Tiki's ...OUCH😎 LoL . Those poor Tiki's will never know what hit them with one wicked Tiki-STD! 🙃
I live 15mins from this place and didn't know about the Tiki market. I never got to go here when they were opened. They closed in October 2020 because of the damage from a tropical storm.because of rising building costs the owners decided to put the restaurant and land up for sale. It would be nice if the place was restored, too much commercial crop being built.
The word from the folks working the event was that they hope to reopen by the end of the year.
Love the shirt Kyle! And the merch looks cool 😎
Thank you!
Love that place, I hope they get the funds to repair soon. Julian’s in Port Orange was a good local ‘original’ Polynesian spot as well. It was one of the only A-framed buildings left on the beachside. It closed in 2012 though & they recently demolished it :/ I was hoping for it to be fixed up but I guess the building was too far gone :( Mai Kai is one of the only original classics left in Florida & I really hope they open up again soon! The Tiki fest was really cool, thanks for sharing! :)
From what the people said that were working the event, they hope to reopen by the end of the year.
My family celebrated birthdays there for 50 years. So sad!
How many younger folks would recognize Alfred E. Neuman...What Me Worry?
Ha! Completely accurate. We're both big Mad Magazine fans and usually refer back to old issues.
