yeah he's clearly a young lad. thats normal and pienix handled it well. he was very polite though and ready to listen. just a talkative teen its normal
short is the strongest position in low level mirage. You can peek B, MID and hold A cross and connector. On top of that you have the ladder room so u can jump into window and peek from there and just pick apart the enemy team one by one. By far my best position. Plenty of aces and +30 kill games.
You're not wrong. I think A anchor and Short personally. Short is great: you can solo B from short by listening for rushes in apps. You can still rotate to under window and hold off multiple enemies or land a molly. You have the timing on chair, and that's a tough angle for t's to take from you if you pixel it. You can peek through short and nail people going for con, even site, and you can repeek your mid or con player from short and finish off kills. It's a great position. You can just play contact on chair then go somewhere else, and you're having a huge impact, holding half the map. A anchor is actually really interesting. It can be hard, but A anchor and con players get a lot of opportunities for fights and sometimes going where the fight is will do more for you. You just have to have good repositions, a strong hold, and the ability to win even when the economy is against you. Knowing how to play dark or palace when you're stuck with an SMG is huge. I'd recommend avoiding mid or jungle if you're having trouble-mid really needs some good scope work and knowledge of the timings, and jungle gets awp peeked from main. Playing as a second on B can get you some free frags, if your short guy calls apps you can lurk under window, white van, or some boosts on site, and get easy 3-4ks while headshot. But if the enemy sees you playing two B and destroying their rushes they won't play there often and you'll be stuck on rotate.
Good job man! I love the way you explain to them. I used to coach low ranks(usually kids) in 2015/2016, i did not do as good of a job as you do. Great to see

Awp is still very strong especially with that underhand HE window to counter the insta smoke That said I saw teams play 5 rifles and make it works so it's doable My personal choice is AWP
@@dirtylinny3279I agree. Mirage is one of the AWP's strongest maps, don't know what people mean lol. Ticket is easily one of the best anchoring positions, with some options for repositioning, and coverage of all of the bombsite except a part exposed to con jungle and short. Yes the T's might start smoking window, but you can go jungle, ticket, peek con, peek A Ramp. So many places to have an impact, ironclad holds and advantageous peeks. The Market on a slow timing is literally the only bad angle for it: if you get there early you can get one through apps window, if you get there late you are going to get played from both sides and there is no push where you don't get a 180 crossfire on you. And, even if you aren't getting the kills mid with awp, you need to have the THREAT of doing so to limit the Ts and force them to expend util and give away their position. Nothing says your awper can't spam an aug through smoke at the corner either. The AWP nerf just means that in a fight at close range where you're taking hits you're going to lose. It is still the best peeking weapon in the game, and the best at holding long angles. And the only way to reliably peek another AWPer. And one of the best clutch weapons, only let down when fighting close against multiples. Who gives a fuck about the highlight reel, it's about winning rounds.
this video was amazing, and i do play like what you said to do to be fair, i got above average aim and spray control i would say, i hold good angles, have good movement and my nades are average aat least, and even tho i can drop 30+ killls in a low rank lobby i wont rank up for some reason and its so frustrating cause i can win like 10 matches in a row and not rank up then lose like 1-2 and derank, its fucked up man... also im a bit of a wingman enjoyer cause i like that the map is cut down to 1/4th and that you dont need to rely that 4 other players do their job correct but just 1, and even then its easier cause a 1v2 is rather easier than a 1v5 but its the same for wingman, i can win a ton in a row and not rank up then lose like 2 games and derank... its so frustrating.

On raw mechanics transferred from Valorant I am soloQ just under 20k premiere in CS2 but I am lost whenever I que comp... I can't play in silver lobbies. Nothing makes sense!
@@pienixcs I mean that without a full premate team its nearly impossible because you don’t face actual silvers Most silvers were Gold Nova-MGE before and are stuck there Real beginners are fucked
literally just use your brain. 7k elo top frag literally with no (or very quiet) audio. dont focus on killing, focus on winning. the kills will sort themselves out. maybe play a simpler first person shooter first? like quake? got to start somewhere before you start worrying about strats and smokes and flashes.
The best way to develop your brain with FPS shooter is to develop your own intuition by playing simpler games first or by slowing down your games and focusing on the simplicities of it first. At early ranks, it can be easy to blame 'elo hell' and sometimes your team needs to be convinced to try, but also a lot of the time you can really work wonders by just getting an early round pick on a person with a simple SMG rush and falling back for the rest of the round and letting your teammates mop up, even if they're not as good as you. Perhaps a good pointer for a complete beginner is to play slow enough to the point where you individually don't feel overwhelmed. Playing slow is not about camping site vs rushing. You can push deep behind enemy lines and still play slow. What I mean is do not force yourself to do crazy flicks, more like just hold a corner and sit there for 10 seconds, quietly. Patiently observing often gives you hints of info that can paint much larger picture. And if CS2 is too overwhelming even when you play slow, just pick up a SIMPLER game, like Quake or any older FPS. Fewer mechanics means more introspection and self-focus, learning enemy patterns rather than focusing on your own mechanics. CS2 is deceptively simple, but in actuality it's very complex. It places too much responsibility on sole individuals so if you're a beginner you will drag a lot of others down. It is NOT a beginner game. Also, the game really empowers people with natural talent. The mechanics are definitely learnable, but you're competing with people who might've been playing FPS for 20+ years, let alone playing a Counter Strike game for 20+ years. The complexity of the game really shines when you start understanding enemy behaviors based on the first 10-20 seconds of round start. Anecdotal experience: I've coached a struggling UK female player for around 3-4 years up from silver rank to Legendary Eagle, always blamed PC or other teammates, etc.. However she played EVERYDAY even during college, and that certainly grows some thinking skills over time. I've always tried to prove a point that mechanical skill is not important even when I play with 150-200 ping from California in London servers. I would say just casually enjoying the gameplay is most important. I regularly play with low ELO people on a daily casual basis, but played only Global Elite matchmaking for an extended time, too.
@@retagainezI don't agree Mechanical skills is the most important skill And playing other games won't make you better at CS so just throw yourself into the chaos and figure things along the way
I would argue you overwhelmed him with way too many small techniques. He needs to learn how to walk first before he starts using common smoke or flashbang positions. He is literally saying his movement is really bad, its way more important to pick up on his feedback he's giving you. Teaching fundamentals can be done with a structure. Maybe choosing less complex games where movement doesn't affect aiming but its part of the gameplay, or maybe just focusing on playing on a retakes server, or a surf server, or maybe just a private server where you can create a set of common scenarios with small lessons in between them all. It would be best to ask HIM what he thinks he could learn, and if that's not immediately available, the first goal would be to discover what you should first work on with him. It is very expensive to coach somebody like this, but repetition is key. If your friend plays with the same teammate for years and years, especially a better skilled one, they will easily pick up on your own patterns and learn how to extrapolate your game sense onto the enemy's behaviors. Most people's gameplay converges towards a singular common style.
imo: If you can't get to at the very very least LEM in match making, it's because you have senior citizen reaction times, and storm trooper aim. Someone with moderate to "good" aim should be able to make it to LEM without having to study the game. Some might even argue this for ALL of MM up to global.

@@pienixcs I mean that without a full premate team its nearly impossible because you don’t face actual silvers
Most silvers were Gold Nova-MGE before and are stuck there
Real beginners are fucked
Bro would not stfu and let the pro teach lmao.
;/
just unplug 2nd monitor and swing mid
Plug the 3rd one
Great content Pienix, This guy kept on talking over you every time and not listening to what you saying, shame.
It doesn't bother me at all, he listened at least a bit I think
Love the vids but this kid you’re coaching is irritating to listen to
Not to me, just skip the vid - there's plenty more ppl I coached who you might enjoy watching
pienix buy gloves
I have gloves, just an older vid
@@pienixcs messing with you big dawg
he was always talking about val, bro tf
Haha 😂
Bro you look like JKS
low ranks you just need aim
literally just use your brain. 7k elo top frag literally with no (or very quiet) audio. dont focus on killing, focus on winning. the kills will sort themselves out.
maybe play a simpler first person shooter first? like quake? got to start somewhere before you start worrying about strats and smokes and flashes.
Wait what do you mean?
He's obviously a begginer and doesn't want to sabotage this game - just use his brain won't be enough ;/
@@retagainezI don't agree
Mechanical skills is the most important skill
And playing other games won't make you better at CS so just throw yourself into the chaos and figure things along the way
I would argue you overwhelmed him with way too many small techniques.
@@retagainez but that's only demo review part - we did work on the basics dw ;)
I don't even know what most of the stuff he says means lol
🤷😅
imo: If you can't get to at the very very least LEM in match making, it's because you have senior citizen reaction times, and storm trooper aim. Someone with moderate to "good" aim should be able to make it to LEM without having to study the game. Some might even argue this for ALL of MM up to global.
Yeah imo you’re wrong
@@Lol-qf4rtno he's absolutely right i got to Lem 3 years ago without knowing a single smoke just raw aim, and my aim was no where near how it is right now
@@giovannivandereecken5133 tbh years ago, in csgo MM, it felt like only 5 stacks would use util and other than that, barely any. I would practically never get flashed for example, and i got up to LEM. More recent csgo and cs2, It seems like people are watching more youtube or wahetver and know more util and can think for themselves, across the ranks. I also have been baited by people who "aim" well constantly and just silently rage because the obvious answer from them is "you just suck shut the fuck up *n word*"
Beyond wrong
@@bloxer9563 to be fair, my comment implies that once I hit LEM shit changed, and I started getting full blind moments I never had before
Really annoying that this fucking guy keeps talking over you. When people who know nothing about something im good at talk over me while i explain it i get so irritated.
I couldnt get through the vid because of it not your fault

Buy top tier hardware, pay a professional to configure your system for least latency, buy top tier peripherals, get a boosting service, get a shitload of skins so people dont report you for smurfing and assume youre legit because no poorman would risk 20k inventory, find friends with similar setting, realize the game is pay to win, filled with cheaters and smurfs, and that your chances of playing on at least semi pro level are close to 0 and you wont get revenue out of the game. Then, try to become a streamer, quit because nobody watches you, and after X years of not achieving anything significant in the game, attempt being a coach.
Ez.
Top tier bullshit 😂
Salty bot detected lol. Who tf picks up a videogame to try and make money 😂

Denialists. Denialists everywhere.
or we can play the game for fun and enjoy improving. you wrote a whole paragraph just to project your toxic feelings
"Projection is a form of defense in which unwanted feelings are displaced onto another person, where they then appear as a threat from the external world. A common form of projection occurs when an individual, threatened by his own angry feelings, accuses another of harbouring hostile thoughts."
