TBH the process of making the doc is what makes it stick more, try making your own doc, it'll contain the stuff you care most about, not someone else's priorities
@@populus117 True. For me, I needed to learn the nade lineups, but other people might have different skills they want to work on. The important part is working on only a few things at a time before moving on. And picking something you'll enjoy studying and implementing.
Yes! The thing most people do not realize is that a lot of toxic players project their feelings to others. Keep spreading love and respect, also to toxic players.
Being positive and keeping the positivity up is so, so huge. Even if you're losing. Nobody gets better from flaming or negativity, but a little morale boost can go a long way and who knows? It might turn the game around even. It's a great feeling.

I've solo queued to 20k+ on premier and ~8 on faceit with a 60% win rate and 1.4 kdr. at the end of the day (as much as people hate to hear it) if you can entry frag consistently, not only are you giving your team the man advantage but you're also indirectly showing them to play more confidently. practicing prefire angles and setting yourself up with mollies/smokes/flashes is key
Been getting back into the game recently and have been super frustrated with myself. It’s just hard to focus on getting better when I can only get on to play one or two days a week. Thanks for tips man, great video

This was a great video, I'm definitely not as good a player as you but I try my best to support my teammates when I can and just generally try to have a good time playing. It's huge how much being nice and supportive to teammates is for general enjoyment IMO.

Man this same thing happened to me. I wanted to be better in the game so I started playing it every day for a 4 week period. Now I am better at it. My goal was to go above 10k elo and I did. I started at 4,5k and work my way up. My last week I was at 8.5K and it took me 7 days to get to 10k. It was hard but I felt awesome when I did it. Now you give me so many tips on what to make better in my next 4 week of the game. I like your video and I sub to you. I can related to every single word that you said.
First few moments of the final thoughts were huge for me, I already watch counter strike related content when I'm not playing the game and I do honestly feel like I learn a lot from watching said content, overall great points good video very cool
awesome mental to have in cs, good tips as well. this might come off as a “just get good tip” but i cant stress enough - no amount of game sense will compensate for bad mechanics in the higher levels. there comes a point with game sense in cs where most players are capable of predicting a players moves, but not everyone is capable of punishing them. id personally recommend to spend time doing prefire maps, and retake severs to improve those skills, and get used to playing independently - ESPECIALLY if you’re solo queued. awesome video for players starting in counter strike
Yeah I saw a series of training maps and exercises that use something called Yprac, but I couldn't get it set up properly. That's probably the next thing I'd like to start adding to my practice routine.
@@JROGvids i used YPracs public servers but there private customs are whacky and dont work all the time, i use refrag instead - which does cost a little bit per month, but is very helpful.

I started playing again a week ago and I’m kind of rusty but now you reassured me that I want to get back in the game. Awesome mindset, it's what I aspire to after having watched a lot of videos from overwatch coach Spilo. I still find it difficult to adhere to these principle when on a losing streak, but I take a few days off to watch a couple of replays, practice nades and dm, and then it gets better. These tips also help in real life, my SO was trying to decide between two sport clubs and we decided to go with the coach that focuses on growing its players instead of the one focusing on winning. A few things I'd advise is: don't focus on too many things at once. I'd say focus on only one item per session, like "tonight I'll stop wide peeking everything" or "tonight I'll focus on managing my economy" or "tonight I'll aim before I start shooting". You should lose a few games because of it but after sleeping over it it will be part of your gameplay and will only need to be refreshed from time to time. My second tip is : use custom server DMs instead of matchmaking DM
I almost always play with a 5stack, but when games start going south for us we usually just say "we'll call it a practice round. Let's fuck around with it and try some new strats" And because our mentality changed from trying to win to experimenting and seeing what works, 1, the loss doesn't really hurt, and 2, you'd be surprised how often that turns it into a victory. The problem is sometimes that our play style is easily countered by a different one. When we go and do something totally unexpected every round that can be enough to shake things up, even if the strat is kind of dumb. On T, hiding all around the map and making a mad rush for B with 20 seconds left on the clock works way more often than it should lol
this is great video for new players,well done, just adding 2 tips play retake servers cause you will learn a lot from it, also once yprac maps are released get those and practice pre-firing angles,

This is me currently. Been playing about a week now, since hiatus for about 2 years. I've almost forgot how to play this game. I play premier and started with 7k rating, now im 10k. I took 3 days to improve myself again, watching tons of 'coached' youtube video, and train myself again on the important nades of all the maps.
Strong man keep it up like this and u will play with the most toxic mates and cheaters in 20k plus elo. But at least still better than those bot lobbys for sure
This is what I’m doing atm, I’m doing one map at a time spending two weeks per map trying to master it. One thing that helps is downloading pro faceit demos for the map I’m currently doing and trying to learn tiny tips and tricks that aren’t shown in guides etc
I play for fun and want nice teammates that also play for fun but some care more about winning than having a good time while playing. Dont understand why some people are so mad and toxic in matchmaking, mm is just casual meant to play for fun but everybody dont see it that way unfortunately :)
I got into my first cs2 game today. Top fragged. Led a team to victory and started a small cult in a streamers stream on the enemy team. My name in the game was "Guy" so people keep telling him "He was that guy". Issue is. I have mad respect for the bro streaming. He had mad awps. Bro was getting that snipe every other second on my team, but with each of us being so in sync for absolutely no reason considering how stupid the whole team was? I mean just color me impressed. We those idiots that's gonna start a group or team and take it to the top man. I didn't think I would enjoy cs2 half as much as I enjoyed csgo, but turns out they got some good fixes and people seem to be cheating so much less. It was an actual banger of a game. I was waiting for this for so long honestly. Years of playing with cheaters and bots and finally I can show my strength where it counts in the game. I genuinely didn't see myself getting back into the game, but after that first premier match? "Yeah, I'm thinkin I'm back." -John Wick (Quote from Jack Reacher idk)
I feel like I could gush for the rest of my life about how good the game turned out. I have no idea why people are upset, but I'm certainly not. Not sure what happened or why the cheaters vanished from what I could tell, but I finally feel like my skill is actually worth something to people now in the game. Sometimes you just want to feel like you're good at what you do man and when I played today for the first time in so long sense csgo stopped. I felt like everything I did was worth it. Am I worth a top spot? Probably not and I'd never claim to be. But right now and in this moment. I'm going to feel absolutely great about myself. And I think that's okay. I love the game so far. I love how well I play. I enjoy everything. Much love to this channel. Much love to all content creators. You make the world a better place probably.

I know you mentioned in the video that you aspire to become the best solo queue player so that you can adapt to any role to assist your team. However, I believe that sometimes this may not be the optimal course of action. For instance, when you're carrying games, it's often better to play in a way that maximizes your gameplay rather than trying to fill a role that may not have as much impact as playing the way you prefer. While it's important to be aware of line-ups and follow your teammates calls, if you're top fragging, you shouldn't be the one carrying the bomb and handling other tasks like that. With that said, I think the approach you're taking is the best way to improve in every role and maybe in the long run being consistent in everyrole. Great video, and keep up the good work!
For sure. I think if you’re looking to climb fast, being an entry fragger is probably the way to go. You are forcing yourself to take more fights and are the one opening up sites and map control. I was interested in becoming a well rounded player and focused on a lot of different things over that period.
I’ve been grinding a few other games since then while I was on vacation. I’m a much higher rating now in WoW arenas, hit master rank in Street Fighter 6, and started learning Tekken 8. Went to a few tournaments for fighting games too. I’ll return to CS2 though. I like competitive games.
@@JROGvids Im playing tekken aswell, trying to learn combos with Jun right now. Not too good in fighting games but trying to get better, only games im good at are fps games
I would say that you should not look at too many line ups if you're new or want to get better, Getting more used to the fundamentals of CS is wayyyyyyyyy more important. Also if youre solo queing you should know a few solo plays for your maps. Adding lineups in your arsenal after you understand the situations is a lot more helpful. This is just my opinion. Also not every tip from pros and high elo player is helpful for your elo for example on low elo d2 games you dont need 3 people on long (if you have good mechanics) 1 molly can lock it down since most people dont actually know how to properly flash long( this was my experience after playing low elo games )

That’s all that’s required sometimes. “Follow me in” and “come, bait me” is a great motivator to give strangers some confidence.

Bro was getting that snipe every other second on my team, but with each of us being so in sync for absolutely no reason considering how stupid the whole team was? I mean just color me impressed. We those idiots that's gonna start a group or team and take it to the top man. I didn't think I would enjoy cs2 half as much as I enjoyed csgo, but turns out they got some good fixes and people seem to be cheating so much less. It was an actual banger of a game. I was waiting for this for so long honestly. Years of playing with cheaters and bots and finally I can show my strength where it counts in the game. I feel like I could gush for the rest of my life about how good the game turned out. I have no idea why people are upset, but I'm certainly not. Not sure what happened or why the cheaters vanished from what I could tell, but I finally feel like my skill is actually worth something to people now in the game. Sometimes you just want to feel like you're good at what you do man and when I played today for the first time in so long sense csgo stopped. I felt like everything I did was worth it. Am I worth a top spot? Probably not and I'd never claim to be. But right now and in this moment. I'm going to feel absolutely great about myself. And I think that's okay. I love the game so far. I love how well I play. I enjoy everything. Much love to this channel. Much love to all content creators. You make the world a better place probably.
@@Inklersblatant cheating died because of vac bans 5% of players soft cheat for sure. If you think someone is sus go in replay mode. I only seen it twice with my own eyes but it’s enough to know it’s not jus people raging.

I know you mentioned in the video that you aspire to become the best solo queue player so that you can adapt to any role to assist your team. However, I believe that sometimes this may not be the optimal course of action. For instance, when you're carrying games, it's often better to play in a way that maximizes your gameplay rather than trying to fill a role that may not have as much impact as playing the way you prefer. While it's important to be aware of line-ups and follow your teammates calls, if you're top fragging, you shouldn't be the one carrying the bomb and handling other tasks like that. With that said, I think the approach you're taking is the best way to improve in every role and maybe in the long run being consistent in everyrole. Great video, and keep up the good work!
For sure. I think if you’re looking to climb fast, being an entry fragger is probably the way to go. You are forcing yourself to take more fights and are the one opening up sites and map control.
I was interested in becoming a well rounded player and focused on a lot of different things over that period.

I’ve been grinding a few other games since then while I was on vacation. I’m a much higher rating now in WoW arenas, hit master rank in Street Fighter 6, and started learning Tekken 8. Went to a few tournaments for fighting games too. I’ll return to CS2 though. I like competitive games.
@@JROGvids Im playing tekken aswell, trying to learn combos with Jun right now. Not too good in fighting games but trying to get better, only games im good at are fps games

I would say that you should not look at too many line ups if you're new or want to get better, Getting more used to the fundamentals of CS is wayyyyyyyyy more important. Also if youre solo queing you should know a few solo plays for your maps. Adding lineups in your arsenal after you understand the situations is a lot more helpful. This is just my opinion.
Also not every tip from pros and high elo player is helpful for your elo for example on low elo d2 games you dont need 3 people on long (if you have good mechanics) 1 molly can lock it down since most people dont actually know how to properly flash long( this was my experience after playing low elo games )
