East Texas police officer shoots, kills dog raises concerns in community

There's some controversy brewing in Hawkins after a police officer shot and killed a dog. The incident happened on May 2 near the intersection of Humble and Estelle.

I love dogs! But a vicious beast is extremely different than a pet! There are leash laws and dog parents need to learn the laws before you release your pet to the streets! People are allowed to do what they have to, to stay safe walking down a street!!
