For those unaware of why Hassou Tobi does so much damage. Despite its power being 40 X 8 in 5R its going to do more than Gods Hands 800 because the Persona games uses the square root of the moves power in damage calculation. Meaning Gods Hand is about 28.28 true power and Hassou Tobi comes to 6.32 x 8 which comes to about 50.59 true power. Its only real flaw as a move is that Its Crit rate is pretty abysmal generally. For Scarlet Havoc they just completely changed how the move works. It got its base power nerfed from 320 to 240 but the move becoming a Theurgy more than made up for it as Theurgy Skills are calculated using both STR and MAG (in other words double stat scaling). This on top of getting Crit buffed to a base 20%, access to Physical Boost/Amp and Critical Rate Amp (+15% Crit) just make the 2nd of the game a complete joke. Yet despite all this my personal pick for P3R is Getsu-ei just because its obtained at like Lv 15 and is only marginally weaker than Brave Blade (about 8% or so) carrying the Early/Midgame while being very usable Endgame. Though I could very well understand if people disagree due to stuff like the move not having the pierce effect. Also very minor note but Critical Amp does not stack with Boost as if you have both the game only checks for the former and ignores the latter.
In Persona 5 Strikers the strongest move is actually Morning Star. Second being Agneyastra and third God's Hand. Three of these moves deals more damage than Hassou Tobi.This is without technical hits. There's a video that shows it. Hassou Tobi is still a good move in Strikers.
@@WhiteTSGamer in 3R it would genuinely be very underwhelming as the loss of Magic Ability (doesn’t affect Almighty) and Country Maker means its outdamaged by Akasha Arts. If Hassou Tobi was in 3R it would absolutely stomp Myriad Truths.
