I LOVE Ameno-Sagiri. P4G was my first Persona game. I also love Yaldaboath since his battle was very cool. Also, him as the Holy Grail was something I didn't expect
My favorite boss, Nyx, because I love how battle feels like you are fighting a judge that saw humanity as tarot cards rather than people. You are trying to show Nyx that it more than just be person tarot but by the way person acts in life. I love how Nyx give it own thoughts on each tarot cards meaning and change it to that power. Sorry this long and have spiritual day.😅💙🃏👻
P3 makes it clear as fu** that Nyx is different than every other god in the series. instead of being born in the cognitive world like most gods in the series she is the one that unintentionally created humanity so by extending the cognitive world and she is the mother of all Shadows. the game also makes it super clear that she can't be defeated, she canonically has never been defeated only sealed away. Atlus can at any time just decide to make a spin off or a DLC for a Future numbered game or even in the base game and make her the final boss again, that would create some real tension because what are our heroes going to do to win this time, are they going to make a new seal, are they going to find a way to remove humanity's wish for death, who knows
Yes, that's my favorite part of the deeper persona lore. The reason personas even exist is because of Nyx. Thanks to her psyche, humans became aware of death and to combat it they developed the collective unconscious thus being able to pluck personas out of these mythos and legends. This makes the fall even more scary because without her psyche driving humans towards constant evolution, we'd all be no different than cattle (the apathy syndrome/ mental shutdowns). It's so satisfying how every element connects like this in the franchise. I think a spin-off would be amazing. Personally, I'd love to see a story set in a distant past, telling about how ancient humans averted the fall.
@@StoneHavel We know the fall was adverted by the Collective Unconscious, THAT is the Seal, but because of the Kirijo Group gathering Shadows they created Tartarus and it became the antenna calling for Nyx, which allowed Erebus to reach out and call for her. The real spin off we need is the confirmed adventure of Elizabeth, in P4, Margaret said Elizabeth told her the fairy tale of Door-kun and that she left the Velvet Room to save Door-kun somehow, in P4Arena however she’s shown to gain the Wild Card, kill Erebus every year and leaves to find S.E.E.S because she believes they can create the miracle needed to save Door-kun, I wanna see that fr
Maki Sonomura and Ryoji's Nyx are definitely my favorite bosses in the Persona series. Pandora really provide a decent challenge for a final boss with the phase-switching between Physical and Magic attack, unless you have Yamaoka since that Persona can learn Tetrakarn and Makarakarn and the fact that those skills are AoE instead of 1 ally skills like the rest of the Persona series (2-5). Nyx also a challenging boss with the Arcana-switching, tho i wishes the Reload version also added the unique skills from the 12 Shadows beside the generic skills
Great video!! Little correction, I belive you've used a painting of Chronos the titan when talking about the Chronos time-related figure! They are not the same Also couldn't help to notice the use of some AI generated images, they make the video look cheaper and of less quality; this doesn't change that it was very informative and enjoyable!!
Oh shit no, u are right about Chronos, I read that this is a common mistake ppl make too. And I still make it 😂. Thank, this should be useful for those who are interested. U sound more level headed so I'll respond. Sometime the exact image that describe what I want is difficult to find, and that can increase the video time much longer so I rather just grab what is available, a lot of Google image now are full of ai, so imaging looking for real image in a style that match. Sometime I also use real image and ppl think it ai. But I have made a decision to not worry too much because I am not an art channel. My goal is to share fun information. For ppl who get super trigger by a few ai images this is proly not for them and that's fine. I already use them rarely.
Most of the boss are not shadow. They are more like god, but not in the traditional sense. Most of them are born from the mass unconscious want of something. Maybe I can make a video to explain it.
Regular bosses are shadows more often (coming from the psychoanalytic concept of shadows) with small and rare exceptions Final bosses are usually the manifestations of collectible unconscious wishes of people manifesting themselves as gods and entities from various mythologies
I just found your RUclips channel today and will watch all the videos straight away. Quick question, could you also make a video about Catherine Full Body? (like real life origins and so on) love trivia, reference, origins😁
Welcome to the channel! Catherine is in the same boat as P1/P2-I can definitely make a surface-level video on it, but since I haven't played the game myself, it's difficult to do a deep dive. I'll definitely play it eventually, but I need a bit more stability on the channel in terms of audience interest first. I did play Metaphor: ReFantazio though, and I plan to make a video on it. Not sure if you've played it yet, but it's a great game!
@@Metaverse_Mysteries Thanks for the reply. I can totally understand your reasons. I'm just so hyped for this Atlus games Persona, SMT, Catherine, ... I wanted to say good video but one final boss is missing the night queen from person 1 or 2 i forget but it's a alternative route so not exactly a proper final boss but other than that it's a amazing video with accurate information
A bit ya, mainly because I haven't play it fully so I can only talk about it on a surface level. I can't make too much stuff until I learn more about them, which I am slowly doing.
Boss that I feel bad for beating, similair to Maruki but it'll be great if they go all the way. As in don't help justify the player choices and make them feel the weight of their action for defeating that boss.

This is a great video, but I think you'd be better off using an A.I. voice over, as gross as that makes me feel to say. Every time I took my eyes off the screen, I could barely understand what I was hearing, especially because of all the proper nouns. No offense intended. I enjoyed this overall.

The Arcana!
Easily Maruki
Persona bosses are outstanding especially Nyx.
Nyx might be one of the better bosses then any other boss within the series that actually have many meaning and explaining how live life itself

I love this guy's random pluarlization.
