      True, the only thing holding him back, which is not an issue at all if you are well prepared, is his SP usage which is extremely high but like I said this can be easily avoided

    • @fafnirable1
      @fafnirable1 2 месяца назад +6

      I just find him on the lower end of really good characters, with only Mitsuru being lower. The other characters with higher SP usage are Yukari and Ken. Yukari can lower her usage by a lot with her personal skill and Ken can basically get his SP back faster than any other character. Kuromaru has the least amount of counters for his SP usage. Kuromaru's personal skill is great for the extra accuracy, but evasion isn't that reliable. The only people I can say have a worse personal skill are Mitsuru (you will barely inflict anything) and Metis (the final boss can't be knocked down). This is another small thing. The last thing I can say is his debilitate can also be on the MCs persona as well, making it not as needed to use an SP hungry character when you can capitalize on better personal skills. He is just a little lower than characters like Yukari, Ken, Critpei, and One Punch Akihikos. I still find Kuromaru useful because he has a more reliable debilitate than Mitsuru, a more reliable power charge than Fuuka, and more versatility than Shinjiro

      Power Howling is pretty good and Koro-Chan has it the instant you get him. Motherfucker walked in with his Ultimate Persona already unlocked. Revolution is risky, but the crazy crit builds you can make in Reload mean you benefit from it way more than the enemies.

    • @lyricalsnowfall
      @lyricalsnowfall 2 месяца назад +1

      Yukari/Koromaru/Akihiko is the most busted comp in the entire game. Power Howling plus auto-masukunda (the only auto-debuff ability in the GAME iirc) up crit chance and is a party wide charge. Akihiko benefits from that with God's Hand and better accuracy (plus power Howling + Scarlett Havoc is absurd). Yukari's tranquility makes Akihiko's theurgies insane, and she gets to constantly heal off of Akihiko and Koromaru using physical skills. Lastly, Akihiko's buff amp gives him the highest (non-Makoto) damage output.
      Koromaru and Ken were dogshit in OG though because light and dark were useless.

    I thought it was the general consensus that Koromaru is the best party member in Reload
    That +15% flat crit from Revolution and that early access to Party Charge when you're like level 30ish is insane lmao, especially when you consider that Reload is extremely skewed in favor of phys
    Also in FES I think Mitsuru is the worst, and not because "haha funny ailment" but because her AI constantly spams Mind Charge which is 1.9x damage on the next hit, so she's doing less damage in 2 turns than everyone else, doesn't help that when she freezes an enemy, the party AI goes dumb mode and start using melee hits
    Also, Almighty sucks in pretty much every newsona game

    • @euqinemor
      @euqinemor 2 месяца назад +4

      To be fair to Mitsuro, you need to be constantly changing her tactics to avoid her spam Marin Karin and Mind Charge but once you get a hang of it, she's almost perfect substitute to Yukari as she almost matches her spell power and has good healing skill, she's only less useful when you REALLY need that 100% dedicated healer for certain fights and cant put Yukari in because her weakness so Ken is a far better option because of his Mediarama.
      So yeah Ken is just the second worst character (at least on FES) because he's mostly a "you cant use Yukari or MItsuru" on this battle and i need a healer.

    STRONGLY disagree with Yosuke. Yosuke is the jack of all trades just like Akihiko in Persona 3, can fit any roll u need him to, I say the worst party member in P4 is Chie. Cuz although she has strong physical attacks and crit damage, she's usually the first one dead. Kanji can do Chie's job but better.

    • @tinysuperaqua
      @tinysuperaqua 2 месяца назад +3

      Chir has problems with her low defenses and her physical skills are lowering her health even more and low magic and little ice skills. Her pros definitely make her worth it; spread heat riser, Apt pupil + Revolution, and Power Charge+ God Hand/ Agneyastra.
      Yosuke is mediocre at everything but Wind skills.
      Healing skills: Diarhan and Youthful Wind. Teddie and Yukiko do it better.
      Buff/Debuff: Masukukaja and Dejaka. Teddie, Chie, and Naoto do it better.
      Physical skills: Brave blade with no power charge. Just use Kanji and/or Chie.
      Yosuke even gets an Almighty skill with Megido but Naoto gets better Almighty skills and Mind Charge.
      Yosuke doesn't have a role in the game but as a filler slot. Even with his good Wind skills + Wind Amp and Boost could be replaced by Naoto's Mind Charge+ Guradyne if you want a wind user.

    • @JadenOmega
      @JadenOmega 2 месяца назад +3

      @tinysuperaqua Honestly, I dunno about that, I've done some disgusting damage with Yosuke in the past, he can debuff the enemy party if they gained any kind of buffs with Dekaja and yes he has the same problem with Akihiko with having mediocre healing, but his going first due to his speed as well as buffing the party's agility does make him a good member of the party, Yukiko and Naoto are better but I always saw Yosuke as right down the middle area aside. Chie, yes, has strong physical attacks, but sometimes their not that good in terms of damage. Credit where it's due though her Galactic Punt can one shot almost anything and that's the best thing about her but everything else just fumbles. She's a glass cannon in a game that really doesn't need one and her Dragon hustle, powerful as it is, takes way too much SP to use.

      You don't need a jack of all trades in a party of 4. That's literally the opposite of what you need. You need a character with a strong niche and Chie is that character, ice + strong physical + auto high critical. Probably the best party member in Persona history

    • @kohakusora7474
      @kohakusora7474 2 месяца назад +3

      Yeah I agree with you. It's kinda funny. Whenever I brought a specialized team to dungeons, I always ended up feeling "Man if only i brought Yosuke here." If I bring Yukiko, Teddie, and Naoto for a magic team, I honestly got bored of just spamming magic that wasn't effective unless I worked around things or just using megidolaon for everything. There was also the lack of physical moves feeling so I felt locked down. In other words, I felt like I needed Yosuke for one more element and some decent physical. With a physical team of Chie, Kanji, and Yosuke, things got stranger. We all know that Yosuke's physical moves are not as strong as Chie's and Kanji's, but here's the thing: mostly their physical skills are single target. Slowly picking off enemies becomes risky so despite having a physical team, they're somehow going to have to rely on Magic anyways. And guess who can actually do great aoe Maguc damage of the three? Yosuke. Chie does have anynegstra (can't spell), but it doesn't always do the job and risks her dying soon.
      Boss battles are also a really weird case, especially with the physical team. Kanji of course will hit the hardest like a truck with Power Charge and Primal Force. Chie's Power Charge and God's Hand will also do lots of damage. Meanwhile Yosuke doesn't have Power Charge and Brave Blade hits the weakest. But here's the thing: I also need Chie to cast Dragon Hustle and maybe even Revolution. So somehow, Yosuke eventually actually ends up out damaging her physically cuz I kinda need Chie to be the buffer all of a sudden. I know this is circumstantial evidence but still.
      If Yukiko's in the party, then you know what her goal is: Heal, Mind Charge, Burning Petals. With Yosuke's Youthful Wind, I legit can have Yukiko focus on damage. Also Youthful Wind kinda makes battles kinda cheesy with all the dodging of damage.
      This may just be super bias but idk. In conclusion, Yosuke's kinda the backbone to my teams. I kinda always end up needing him on the team.
      I really didn't use Teddie like a buffer like I should have but idk Chie and Teddie felt outpaced cuz of circumstances.

I had chie for dragon hustle and yukiko for severe fire damage and so yosuke can be super handy with youthful wind or extra physical or wind damage

    Hear me out people Morgana is the most underrated party member in modern Persona, especially in Royal.
    With the possible exception of DIarama, Morgana gets every healing move before Makoto Niijima. Importantly, he gets Mediarama during the pyramid arc, which is buffed by his heal-boosting personal trait so you don't need Ren or Ann on secondary healing. His Wind resistance and Me Patra are key in the Wakaba sphinx fight. During the Okumura arc, he is still on top because two waves of Okumura's robots are weak to wind, especially if he's level 43 and has Wind Boost. Mona-chan keeps winning when he gets Samarecarm during Sae's arc and Mediarahan in time for the Shido fight. He finally gets overshadowed by Makoto Niijima after she gets Mediarahan at 65 AND Futaba starts swapping out dead party members when you max her confidant.
    In P3, FES, and Portable Koromaru is indeed the worst, but in Reload he's second only to Metis (1st place in The Journey). Yukari is the worst in Reload.
    In P4 and Golden you're right though. I can't defend Yosuke and his dumpster tier skillset. Naoto is the second worst and Teddie is king.

      @eduardonoegarciaquiroz6439 2 месяца назад +1

      I think Yukari is one of the best party members in Persona 3 Reload, mainly because by spending time with her at the dorm, she gains the hability to make heal skills cost decrease to 25% their original SP cost. Also, her second theurgy is broken, because it doubles damage of the next magical skill, for all party members, including magical theurgies. So, imagine a boss fight with that theurgy, the defense of the boss lowered, Akihiko with elec boost and elec amp, and then he does his second theurgy... it's almost as if he had done four theurgies in one single turn. And if by some miraculously way the boss manages to survive that, you still have other members' theurgies, also with doubled damage. With Yukari you can destroy the bosses in two turns.

    • @trueNordVPN
      @trueNordVPN 2 месяца назад

      @@eduardonoegarciaquiroz6439 Reload is the most Strength-dominant game in modern SMT history, so Magic characters like Yukari are below average. Koromaru's Power Howling theurgy will Charge up Junpei, Akihiko, and Metis, who deal more damage than the Magic-based Mitsuru who doesn't even get Ice Amp. Also, her personal trait isn't as good as Ken's, who has all the healing Yukari does; his SP regeneration gives him virtually infinite SP and having less than half will charge his utterly busted Divine Intervention theurgy.
      Even after saying all that though, Reload Yukari is much better than the worst party members of other games.

    im gonna gonna disagree with the P3R Koro take.
    Dude comes innately with Revolution and Power Howling which in the context of P3R is genuinely insane as Phys Skills are extremely overtuned and theres no Crit Rate Cap like in P5R (the fact Skills like Arrow Rain and Torrent Shot on avg do more than Heavy Mag are a good example of this).Koro also gets Getsu-ei 4 levels after joining which is amazing for 2 reasons.
    First off Getsu-ei is only 8% weaker than Brave Blade with similar Crit which means Koro is genuinely doing competent damage (more than any Magic character for while at least) even with a lackluster Str stat. The 2nd reason is that Critical Hits do count for Koros Theurgy and allow him to apply Power Howling at good pace.
    Masukukaja is kinda whatever. Its most interesting use is how it interacts with Multihit Skills as it actually increases the chance of landing the max hits (meaning Akasha Arts now on avg outdoes Gods Hand and Myriad Arrows now outdoes Primal Force).
    Koro also happens to be deceptively Bulky as not only does he have amazing Evasion off the bat, not only does he come with 2 immunities but for some reason he also has the 2nd highest Hp. No joke only Aragaki has more Hp so Koros constant Getsu-eis are pretty safe to spam.
    Keep in mind the best damage dealers throughout the whole game are all Phys Characters like Junpei and Aki.
    The only problem is the extremely rare Phys immune enemy that could taken out by Theurgy (iirc think there are like 6 total and 2 of them are Golden Hands that are immune to everything but Theurgy and Almighty).
    My personal pick for the worst in 3R would be Yukari because shes so boxed in as a healer she doesn’t do anything else. However Healing can be covered by Items or done better by Ken.
    She does the worst damage throughout the game, has little utility and has no defense. Shes outdone by Kens Divine Intervention by itself and Ken has the fastest Theurgy in the game so this is something Ken can actually sort of spam.
    I also disagree with Yosuke and think Noatos the worst but after all that yapping I’m too lazy to type it.

      @@avallonxd Yukaris healing can be very easily covered by the abundant Items. Yuka requires iirc 4 turns of healing before she reaches full Theurgy and chances are you wont be healing every single turn so shes really not that fast at charging it. Kens Theurgy is basically a 0Sp Mediarahan that applies Phys/Magic Walls and it charges passively so Ken can tend to other things while filling meter. I almost always had Morgana in my party. I mean he’s low damage but having a healer without eating up the protagonists SP is really useful. I’d say Haru or Ann were my least used. Most enemies at endgame block fire and Joker can easily use a Psy skill if needed.

  • @ericgropuis
    @ericgropuis Месяц назад

    I would argue that Akechi is the worst party member. He doesn’t get any kind of bless or curse boost to increase his damage on those skills. Doesn’t get a charge or a concentration to increase his damage and no way to give him one unless you give him an accessory. So all of his attacks are very weak compared to everyone else plus his availability with only being available in Sae’s palace and the final palace.
    Morgana is very helpful early game being a healer with party wide healing until you get Makoto which isn’t until the 3rd palace. He comes with Garu which is helpful with technical hits when paired with Ann. His trait lets him heal for more while spending less. He’s a good early game healer and while he does fall off it’s not by much because he does get Salvation for a full heal on top of curing all status conditions. Only downside is just his failness

Give Chie an Apt Pupil accessory and have her use Rebellion and Power Charge. Support Chie is also better than Support Kanji. Why use Matarukaja when you can use Dragon Hustle? Why use Mediarama when Yosuke can do the same with added Masukukaja and Yukiko just throws out Salvation

    • @helpihavebats6392
      @helpihavebats6392 2 месяца назад

      @ Rebellion isn’t super notable? Im gonna assume you mean Revolution which is fine enough Support Skill but genuinely nothing super. As for Dragon Hustle she literally doesn’t have to Sp to use it more than once in a fight and requires a Spell Master Equip to use more (literally 2 Max Sp off of being able to cast twice at lv99). Even then by the time you get it barely any fights should be lasting longer than the Mcs aoe Auto-Buffs. At least Kanjis can use Matarukaja for a decent number of longer bossfights where Dragon Hustle can’t be said to do that. Neither Characters are particularly good Support so I leave that Support role to Teddie who has Marakunda and Matarukaja which is generally all you need towards the late game. Healing is also not something thats super necessary to have a dedicated Character spot for since Healing Items are not hard to get and they do the job.
      Chie already has innate Apt Pupil and the same Skill cant stack so her Gods Hand is 30% Crit which is only 5% higher than Kanjis Primal Force without any Crit Increase. Kanji with an Apt Pupil Accessory hits 50% Crit.

    Poor Koromaru...
    Recently I beat P3P and honestly I think he isn't the worst in all, I always used him in my party with Ken and Aigis.
    For me, the worst is Yukari (yeah, it hurts for me).
    (idk if in Reload they changed Koromaru or keep the same stuff)

  • @conansglasses2645
    @conansglasses2645 2 месяца назад +2

    1. I DO agree with Koromaru being the absolute worst in the PS2 versions of Persona3 + Portable .
    HOWEVER ! for Reload this couldnt be far from the truth
    don't konw if you know this or not but ... during a Full Moon Koromarus Getsu-ei has a 551 base power, more than double that of heavy Dyne spells , and almost the same power as Brave Blade ( a sever skill ) and he gets that skill the mokent he joins your team ( and dont forget that every major boss battle takes place during a full moon in this game ).
    He also starts out with Power Howling making him essential for any DPS team since Junpei and Akihiko ( the two heighest damage dealing party memebrs in the game ) both use phys skills.
    He also starts out with Auto Masukunda as a trait, while also getting Masukukaja, meaning that multi hit skills which are some of the heighest damage dealing skills in the mis to late game ( Arrow rain, Myriad arrows, Torrent Shots , Blade of fury and Akasha arts ) all hit the maximum number of times .
    He also gets Revolution which makes him excelllent suppirt for Junepi whos trait makes him the heighest damage dealing party memebr ( yes even more than the pritagonist themslves ) whenever he crits.
    At the gery end of the game he also learns Debilitate
    Basically Koromaru is the best support character in this game, and he gets almost all of these abilities as soon as he joins you, not to mention being the strongest damage dealing party member for quite a long while thanks to Getsu-ei. Calling him the " worst " is honestly such a bad take.
    2. While I do agree with Yosuke being a horrible party member (I'd honestly rank him as the second worst), I feel like he's still MILES better than Naoto, who's by far the most horrible party member in Persona 4.
    > she has almost a complete lack of any worthwhile support, Tetrakarn and Makarakarn are a wasted skill slot because you can easily farm an infinite amount of the Karn vegetables where every party member can cast on themselves ( instead of relying on Naoto casting them one by one every turn ), and Heat Riser is genuinely worthless since it only affects one party member meaning that it takes you 4 turns to actually bppst your entire party, however since kaja spells only last 3 turns this means that there will ALWAYS be one party member not boosted at all times, this is made worse by the fact that you can easily get a " heat riser " effect on the entire party way easier by simply using Kanji + Teddie + Yosuke or just using Chies " Dragon Hustle " . Basically all the support she can provide can be done infinitely better by items/other party members.
    > for damage she's stuck dead last when it comes to raw damage, because of the fact that almighty is by far the worst damage type in Persona due to lacking any sort of boost/amp passives for comparison sakes:
    Kanjis charged Primal force: √(1.100)×1,25=41,45
    Chies charged God Hand: √(800)×1,25= 35,35
    Yukikos double boosted charged BurningPetals: (√(190))×1,25×1,5×1,25=32,30
    Yosukes Brave Blade: √(700)=26,45
    Teddies double boosted Bufudyne:(√(160))×1,25×1,5= 23,71
    Naotos charged Megidolaon: (√(210))×1,25=18,11
    So Naotos Megidolaon even with Mind Charge s by far the weakest attack in the party, she can potentially outdamage Teddie if you give her the Frost Shot gun + 50% ice vow + Bufudyne from bike skills, however this set up is mostly locked to end game because Naotos earliest Bike Ride is November 13th meaning that you miss out on the " Heaven " dungeon, and the 50% ice accessory is locked inside Yomotsu Hirasaka. So even if you go way out of you way to give her this set up this will only be possible at the very end of the game and even then she's still the second worst damage dealing party member after Teddie ( whos still a significantly superior party member due to having access to actual good support skills in Marakukaja + Matarukaja + Marakunda and also access to healing skills )
    >for "mob clearing" , a job that people for whatever reason INSIST that Naoto is great at (spoiler alert: she isn't), she's stuck with single target Hamaon and Mudoon spells for almost the entire game as she doesnt get Mahamaon and Mamudoon until level 69 and 71 respectively, meaning that you won't be using these skills until Yomotsu Hirasaka + the protagonist can get not only Mahamaon and Mamudoon SIGNIFICANTLY earlier, but you can also get SAMSARA (a straight UPGRADE to Mahamaon) earlier than Naoto gets her AOE instakills, she gets all 4 elements for "coverage " however literally just having 3 party members already covers 3 elements as is since every party member specializes in a specific element, so even for " Mob Clearing" she's still atrocious.
    Literally the only thing Naoto has going for her is the fact that she has the best resistances in the party ( 2 repels + 1 drain + no weaknesses ) but thats literally about it

    • @LuisParson
      @LuisParson Месяц назад

      You're wrong about Brave Blade and Burning Petals. Brave Blade is slightly stronger. There's even a video that shows it. And Teddie will always beat Naoto's ice when Rise gives everyone's charge. Because Teddie's accessory slot is opened for God's Love.

  • @LuisParson
    @LuisParson Месяц назад

    Persona 4 is wrong about Yosuke because Chie suffers from the Black Spot phase for 29 levels. Kanji makes her irrelevant. Both Kanji and Teddie can do her job better than she can. Meanwhile Yosuke has better wind than Naoto and will outdamage her in both physical and magic. I have been killing Golden Hands with Almighty with Yosuke and the MC. Naoto isn't really needed for that.
    If you pair up Yosuke with Kanji and Teddie, they can Heat Riser the whole party. Rise will always give you the charge buff if the Attack, Defense and Evasion buffs is already on your characters. I can't do that with Yukiko because she has no buffs.
    I once beaten Margaret on very hard at level 67. The team was Yosuke, Kanji and Teddie. There's no way Yosuke is the worst if I can beat Margaret at that level.

      Yosuke is jack of all trades but master of nothing. There’s nothing he’s good at that can’t be fulfilled by the other party members. Need healing Yukiko is the best at both healing and magic because all he gets is single target healing until his ultimate skill which isn’t even a full heal it’s just a cadenza. If you need physical Chie and Kanji are there for that because they both are going to be able to hit harder than Yosuke ever will. Sukakaja isn’t as important as attack or defense up. A different jack of all trades exist with Teddie and teddie does it better with better healing with party wide healing, having Matarukaja with Marakunda the best buff and debuff skills with better magic. You need to do Yosuke social link and bike events in order to even get better healing because Diarama and Diarahan are locked behind that. There’s nothing he brings to the party beside being an early party member

      @ericgropuis nah yosuke gets mediarama, and with the blessed hands item it's damn near a full HP heal... and chie does NOT hit harder then yosuke last time I checked😭 maybe with a charge (i THINK she has that? I forget I'd have to check again) but without that I think she's actually a decent bit weaker then yosuke, in terms of both her physical stat and the fact that she gets a Heavy-Dmg dealing physical skill WAY later then both kanji AND yosuke for some reason... and even when she does (rainy death) I remember rainy death not hitting for alot either💔 she doesn't really pick up this slack until she gets gods hand which is like... super omega late game

      @ericgropuis Месяц назад

      @@Sinsuki Mediarama at late game is nothing to write home about when before late game you have mediaramas and full healing way earlier. Chie does hit harder than Yosuke with better physical skills and having charge. Before P4G Yosuke only had Sonic Punch a light physical skill until he got Brave Blade late game now he gets a medium skill until late game brave blade and that’s all just single target moves, Chie gets multi target attacks and has Apt Pupil letting her get a lot of crits. She has Auto-Tarukaja, ramapge, gale slash, and Revolution which she can rely on to get good physical damage until she gets those heavy hitting skills.
      Yosuke doesn’t even get those better healing skills unless you do his social link and bike events Kanji even gets a Mediarama through bike events, Teddie joins the party with it and Yukiko gets it at level 43 while you have to wait until the end of the game to have him awaken to his 3rd Persona to have a Mediarama. What’s the point of even putting that investment into him when the moment you get Kanji you can bench Yosuke and lose nothing
      Because Yosuke is trying to do so much with wanting to heal, deal magic damage, cast status effects while also trying to deal physical damage he can’t excel at any of them because Chie and Kanji focus on dealing physical damage. Naoto focuses on dealing magic damage of all types even almighty. Teddie focuses on multi things do but it’s better things to focus on with healing, buffing and debuffing while dealing ice damage. Yukiko focuses on healing and dealing massive fire damage. All of them have a clear focus while Yosuke doesn’t so he won’t be better at any of your other party members at doing the things they do.

    Yosuke being the worst in persona 4?☠️
    What, did you play the game on easy and he didn't do as much damage as Chie or what?
    Yosuke's best in-slot weapon is the kitchen knives +10 strenght
    Yosuke has acces to Brave blade, Garudyne/Magarudyne(with wind boost and wind amp) DEKAJA (WICH IS LITERALLY A LIFE SAVER WHEN PLAYING ON HARD MODE) megido mid-game for rare enemies (if you even bother doing the scouter events)
    Masukukaja wich again is a broken skill, especially when farming rare enemies
    The worst party member in the game is Kanji, his lack of Aoe skills and his low MP pool really makes his worthless for everything besides boss fights
    "Naoto is using garudyne better than yosuke" no...she doesn't, she's the second worst character in the game (again, did you play the game on easy?)

  • @charmanderfan1
    @charmanderfan1 2 месяца назад

    Gotta hard disagree with Brown. Nobody forces you to use him and his gun is pretty solid, plus Scorching Tablets exist so chariot personas really don't have megido skills going for them. I hate to say it because he's my favorite party member of the p1 cast but I'll have to say the worst is Mark. His gun is bad, his melee doesn't make up for the shortcomings of his gun, and like I said megido skills aren't exactly unique to Chariot personas, plus they have terrible Agility which is probably one of the most vital stats in the game. And the worst part? He's mandatory in Sebec. But then again I've only really played through the Sebec route once so I'm not sure how qualified I am to give my opinion, and besides Mark ended up being my one of my party members alongside the mc because I fused a really high agility persona and gave it Megidolaon. Honestly it's really hard to say anybody's truly bad in p1 because it's so easy to give everyone megido or ma-dyne skills and good agility.

  • @talesoflizalfos661

    Brown isn't the worst Persona 1 party member. Far from it. Having the same guns as MC still makes him very useful. Wish I could say the same about Ayase and the joke known as her weapon selection. Using the argument about Persona access is moot given you barely need to update Personas in 1, and have I mentioned guns are the strongest attack type in 1? Not helped by guns scaling to stats that boost defense and evasion, which were also very strong in 1. Yeah he's no Elly or Reiji, but Brown is still useable. Also Ayase is right there.
    Agreed on Koromaru, in PS2/PSP. Koromaru getting Debilitate in Reload and Akihiko losing his debuffs shot Koromaru way up. Koromaru has a solid niche in PQ as well due to high speed Teardrops.

    Koromaru the worse in 3 RELOAD?! Ah hell no
    In the OG? Sure I could see why over Ken. Dark only had instakill skills, while koro was fast he was just eh, and not worth it. IN RELOAD?! BUSTED SKILLS RIGHT OFF THE BAT. If you need something dead then Koro had something. Crits to the team with Revolution, Gestu and Zanstu slash for full moon damage, nulls both fire and dark (two skills that most mid and late game enemies have) if koro can’t do something then the enemy probably nulls slash, fire, dark, and spams lights skills. Which in my play through is only 2 times in the game. 2 times where he aint the best choice. But if the enemy nulls all of the listed then Junpei, Mitsu, and at sometimes the protag can’t do it as well.
    In 3 the worse is literally Mitsuru in basically every version.
    She sucks in the OG because she’s frail, will miss Marin Karan on enemies, and most enemies late game don’t really have an ice weakness. And even if they do, just craft the ice gloves for Akihiko and he’ll do more than her with a regular physical attack. She doesn’t get any better within Reload with the only good thing she gets is her debuff therogry, which in itself SUCKS BECAUSE ITS AN ALLMIGHTY SKILL ON A SPECIAL MOVE WHERE THEY ALREADY GO THROUGH ALL SKILLS

In p4 i agree it's yosuke but mostly out of technicality I don't think he's that bad I used him in all my playthroughs because he's my fav character I like having a character thst can adapt to any situation but it's true that him not doing anything the best also hurts him. In p5 I honestly think there is a case for yosuke being the worst he brings nothing to the table that ryuji and later on yoshizawa can't do Morgana is at least nice to have for early game healing especially in the boss fights where you want joker to help out as much as possible but I agree that he's worthless once makoto joins still I think it more than yosuke will shine and this is from someone who always uses yusuke BTW because he's my fav male party member but every time I use him I feel like i' handy capping myself by jot just using ryuji instead

      In Fes/Portable Ken is better than Koromaru. Being weak to Mudo sucks and Hama isn't helpful for bosses but his other traits are good. He is the best party member with pierce skills since he got Spear Master and Vile Assault. Akihiko doesn't get strike skills to take advantage of his Fist Master. Ken is the only other person to get spread healing skills. Ken sadly does not get Elec Boost or Amp like Akihiko but he is still alright.
      The main reasons why Akihiko outclassed Ken is because Ken being weak to instant kill Mudo skills isn't good, Ken is available later than Akihiko, and the fact that Akihiko has every debuff skill in the game. Bear in mind Debilitate wasn't in the game so that trait alone made Akihiko a mandatory party member ( This is also why Aigis is so good, she has every buff skill in a game where Heat riser is locked behind fusion spells).
      Pairing Akihiko and Ken during the Margaret fight and the answer is good since electric is very reliable. Akihiko can Debuff enemies while Ken heals your team.

      @@emphathicc4832 Yukiko? She does mid damage for most of the game due to a combination Yukiko learning Boosters slow and Magic in general being weak, her Healing can be done by common items for the most part. Id say Teddie just because of he can spam Matarukaja and Marakunda.
