I had safelite do my windshield on my crx and they offered the molding looks just as good as oem, I also been looking for the bigger lower molding for drivers door, always find passenger side but never the driver side
If you want to make sure your self, I have a set off my 91 hatch that are the same width as the moldings on my 89 crx Si. I welded the molding mounting holes shut on my car. Plus I have a full set of the plastic clips that hold them to the door.
Have you shown the seats under the seat covers? if not how they look I don’t remember seeing it on any of your videos but great job on those trims, it looks official 👍

I'm gonna go ahead and assume the seams were filled on the lights to avoid theives from stealing the tails/garnish. BUT also if you steal the CRX center garnish or even one taillight, you basically have clear access to get into the hatch with not too much effort. In the 90's/2000 people still wanted to jus steal these too.

My DC2 Taillights had a invisible crack in the edge that was letting water in them then filling the hatch. Sealed them up with silicone. That could be what they were doing.

I like to use metal polish on headlights and tail lights. Something like Brasso really gets it to polish up good.
