Been watching your best fan setup testings specifically for the o11 mini and lancool II mesh and man it has seriously helped me decide on how I'm planning on configuring my upgraded build when i get all my parts for the lancool 2 mesh. I've never had a single question by the end of these videos. VERY informative content you got going keep up the great work!
As everyone has said, lots of cool and interesting improvements over lancool 2 mesh. Love the new front panel design and latches for side panels. I also love some of the internal configuration improvements. I'm not surprised that the magnetic cable covers in back can struggle with cable bundles. I would have preferred thumb screws, like the LC2, or both as you said. I'm curious to see if the outside dimensions have grown, because it looks like there's more room inside. Anyway, I'm tempted to sell mine and upgrade to this version.
Just got the RGB white case, the best case EVER. So many fan configurations, I game primarily on 4k so 3 bottom fans are helpful for the GPU. This case is Awesome
Just come across this video as this case could be just what i need as im looking to build pc and i have won a rog thor psu in a competition and with it having the fan on top and a lcd screen it so it can only go in one way, so with having the mesh sides and top of shroud open it will help
For an air-cooled build, would you choose this or the Fractal Torrent? I looked at the Torrent compact, but I don't trust my meagre cable management skills with that case. It is a simple build with a Noctua NH-D15S air cooler. The rest of the components are based on the AM4 socket with a RX6800 gpu.
Hi @ChristopherFlannigan do you know if Lancool 3 has enough space (at least 3 cm) on the side to allow installation of the new Corsair PSU with connectors on the side?
I'm debating between this and the Corsair 5000D Airflow any opinions on which one you think is best? My rig (ryzen 5800x, Evo 212 cooler, 32GB 3600mhz, WD gen4 512GB nvme, evga 3090 ftw3 ultra, 4tb hdd, RM1000x '2021' psu)
If this case can actually hit their target launch prices and maintain those prices for the first month or two then I'll be getting both a white RGB model and the blacked out performance version (although I'm not sure yet which will get my 5800X3D and FTW3 Ultra RTX 3080ti in it).
Fantastic video. I'm torn between this Lancool 3 and the Silent Base 802. Can the Lancool 3 support a 420mm AIO at the top and a 360mm AIO at the front at the same time?
Is there any noise dampening on the hard drive trays and cage? The Lancool II was awful for hard drive noise since it has simple rectangular plastic trays and a simple metal cage with no dampening at all.
I would suspend the hard drives at the bottom with velcro straps if you want them to not transmit vibration resonance sounds. I find I need to do that with any case, even with my sound damped SIlverstone Fortress FT-02 It's why I am going with this case over the Fractal Torrent, as that one has no where to suspend the hard drives
I would have loved to see a base model with zero rgb and no fans included and costs like 120/130 or less. As I love to have consistent looks throughout my build and also love my noctuas. But atleast these are not like other brand's crappy included fans like nzxt, corsair, cm etc they are even pwm. I digress.
It looks pretty good, they improved a lot of things. My favorite cases are still fractal Meshify and Torrent, I like the bit of a different look front on them. But this is a good option for sure. I can imagine the airflow is very good. I also prefer dustfilters tho.. just mesh seems like it will get more dust faster.. I rather trade a few degrees for it
This case looks amazing and would be great for a very high end build but the £160 price tag is a bit too steep for it to be a mainstream case and only for enthusiasts. If it was £100 then I would purchase this for sure.
They could have gone different route to cut the price slightly : why tempered glass at the back? Why not a simple back pannel and you get rid of the cost of TG pannel and those magnetic pannels to hide the cables. Also it would be great if they could have offered the option of buying the case with no fans included. In my case, I usually use my chosen ones and the stock ones end up on the shelves.
It's so big, I could take my bed and move in, and it only supports 4 hard drives, at the same time it has so much useless space, it's littered with 2.5" mounts, as if ANYONE would use multiple 2.5" drives in a desktop computer given the choice between an M.2 for maximized speed and 3.5" for maximized storage space. 2.5" is an in-between solution that lost all its purpose when motherboard manufacturers started putting 3-4 M.2 slots on one board while SATA M.2 drives literally cost the same as 2.5" SATA drives. This case, as far as utility goes, is a design failure...
This is a stupid comment. This case can feat three 360 radiators *at the same time* ( even a 420 at the top) making it defacto the airflow champ . SeaGate makes 18Teras HDDs, if you need more than 4 of them maybe a gaming PC case isn't what you need.

Have you looked at the thermals and compared it with other cases to crown this "the airflow champ"? I tell you a little secret, the Torrent has better thermals. You do realize people accumulate data over time and don't just replace perfectly functional drives with larger ones to waste money? Besides, last time I counted there were 8-10 SATA ports on an E-ATX motherboard, while 6 is standard for ATX. This is a giant case that does not let you fully utilize a motherboard, while it would have the space for it. And I am the stupid one... Lian Li didn't have the first clue how to fill out a large space, and made idiotic design choices.

@@Blafard666 Don't bother, as he doesn't seem to understand what an enthusiast PC is. Just a glance at their marketing materials makes it clear this is for high end, balls to the walls builds. Rational, restrained budget-focused cases end at around 70-90 bucks.
The problem is we all like different thinks and there is no way to make a case that pleases everyone. I's a good point about the motherboards as only 2 years ago I was using m.2 expanders and now with 4 slots in the board no need.

According to the stats provided to Newegg the Lancool 3 is 523mm Tall/ 20 inches, 526mm inches deep/20 45/64 inches, and 238mm/9 3/8 inches wide.

I just got the Mesh II a week ago and I'm satisfied with it. This isn't a significant upgrade from that one and it's almost twice as expensive.

Just bought Lian Li Lan Cool 2, got it for AED 309 here in UAE, kind of rooting for the new release but I think its price is doubled

Which better? lancool 3 or 216? prices are 140$ for 3 rgb and 93 for 216 (rgb w/o controller).
Think I'd rather spend a little bit more and get a Fractal Torrent, but this is definitely a nice case.

The fans probably cost Lian Li so little that there wouldn't be much of a price difference
