Salmon & Steelhead - Fighting a large King salmon on the Manistee River

Fishing For Salmon and Steelhead in mid September on the Manistee river. Using the chuck & duck rig I battled a large King Salmon for nearly 5 minutes before it bent the hook on my size 10 nymph on a dropper. Later I landed a small steelhead on an orange bead. The 10lb Vanish tippet performed exceptionally well for such a large King Salmon.
