I watched this until the end and when you mentioned the Creator and scripture I was excited. I’m a Christ follower and outdoorsman. God has shown himself to me so many times while hunting and fishing. I’ll be in Manistee in three days. Hope to get some salmon to eat.

I got to say.... This is hands down the best fishing video I think I've ever watched. I typically watch videos strictly from the standpoint of trying to gain knowledge that I don't have. Very frequently the person just shows what they're doing and doesn't talk through what they're doing and I hardly learn anything. I got so much out of this video. And I was already feeling like I really enjoyed everything and got a ton of information. But then you started pointing out the science and then referenced God and quoted the Bible! I couldn't be more thrilled! You are doing something that literally no one else does and I could not be more happy! Keep doing what you're doing! I subscribed immediately and I will be a follower as long as you make videos!

Fishing off a boat on Manistee is the only way to go. Absolutely do not go to tippy dam unless you want to hang out with the biggest circus show know to man. I’m talking Walmart at 2 in the morning triple the crowd kinda freaky shit. You have been warned.

Those fish seem dark and the meat has paled to the point that they might have more value has a spawner. I. From the West Coast. Those fish would not be kept by most fishermen.

When those fish are in the big lake they are a brilliant chrome color. They change color to attract mate. The sockeye salmon isnt red until the run up into the rivers.

It's crazy how they are in the weedy area. It looks like bass or pike water. Zebra muscles are definitely a issue.

Dude...fishing between Rainbow and Bear Creek then say you're going to fish way upstream yet find yourself closer to Manistee Lake...way downstream is crazy sus to me. If you don't want people to know where you're fishing, just don't release videos. To release videos and purposely steer people in the wrong direction is douchey AF.

@@ghoormann pretty upset for a guy that has his locations mixed up…. You’re probably also the guy that would get mad if we said exactly where to fish. 😂
