Hey, love your van. I’ve got a 2012 Transit Connect and am looking to do something very similar on a budget. It’s my girlfriend and I so looking for the same size bed but want a seating area facing forward like yours. My question is, do you use a cooler? Where do you store your blankets, pillows and comforter while on trips?
Yeah we had a little powered cooler that we hooked up to the cigarette lighter than kept a few snacks nice and cold, but I'm looking to get a yeti type cooler soon and keep it between the two wood boxes behind the driver and passenger seats. As for our blanket and comforter we usually keep it folded on the bed along with our pillows

I was wondering do you get any attention that you own this transit when you're in urban areas because it doesn't look like a sedan? I want this van but would kinda think it would be weird if I went to work with it unless I worked in some labor job. Also does having those extra windows at the back make the cold night colder because its less insulated?
I mean I don't really mind that it's not a sedan, here in the Portland area having a camper van is pretty normal. as far as insulation, it stays fairly warm as is, I do have a few heating options when its super cold like a heated blanket that we use with a battery and a candelier
@@nigelbarrostoo thanks. Do you know also can you add a custom seat belts at the back so you can fit 4 people or do you need to buy the those custom seat chair that comes with a seat belt? I wanted to fit 2 people at the back with a custom seat like yours but not sure if you can just add a seat belt at the back and if that's legal.
