Would the Neewer work with the G9?

I much prefer the look of the Meike in these examples, I think the G85 is sharpening the image quite a bit so the softer Meike look is more pleasing on the skin. However I don't find this a problem with the 18-35 on my C70 and it looks very natural, guess that's because it doesn't add any digital sharpening.

I'm surprised they don't start advertising 4k or 8k VND's yet and still just say HD 🤔 lol but it looked pretty decent nice 👏

Liked the Sigma in these side-by-sides. Better skin tones but not as ‘realistic’ as the Cine’s. The Sigma definitely has its own look and I like it!

Buyers remorse is real and consumerism can sometimes get the best of us like if you are have the building to buy the newest latest gear then all power to you but sometimes even just buying gear secondhanded and if you can get a good price it's just as better

Current prices for the G85 with the 12 - 60mm lens are more in the $400+ range than the $300 range. The lens alone goes for somewhere around $200 except for the occasional bargain.

I've been using thie NEEWER half cage since I've gotten my S5ii. It's definitely amazing, BUT be careful of the strap mount screw hole. It can become VERY loose if you tighten it a touch too much and once it's loose, the half cage loses stability because of only having the bottom mounting point.

Yes! This is my favorite too. It's so simple, but has exactly all the right features. Perfect design. I have accidently knocked the magnetic tool out a bunch, though.

Hi Nigel, Neewer is a great company got theirs carbon tripod sachtler style. Working really good specially the fluid head You should try it out. And it feels not cheap at all

Apsc anamorphic lens on full frame because, i think : cheaper/smaller lens options, less rolling shutter with crop mode, also different ratio options and frame rate options

S5 mark I is the best...Even the 30 minute limit in 4K422 10 bit you have a workaround with an intervalometer I recorded for 4 h straight...

The main issue I have had with the cheaper variable ND filters is that with TELEPHOTO lenses (especially zooms/i.e. non-primes) is the image becomes so soft/degraded at the longer end of the telephoto zoom, that it isn’t useable…Your example shots look good, useable, and so I suspect you’re on a prime lens or a WIDE ANGLE zoom, but certainly not at the long end of a TELEPHOTO zoom, so you should be okay…To solve the issue with a telephoto lens I just stick to straight NDs (mostly an ND8)…but I break the 180-degree shutter rule a lot😂

The fact that the fence behind you is completely different colours over your left and right shoulders really threw me off when you put up the "With VND/Without VND" splitscreen! Looks fine though.

Is the K&F Nano X VND Filter still better than this?

Slight green tint, otherwise it looks decent. I wish my ND filter was HD though... :(

Hi Nigel, I want to make you a question: usually use VND filter. I set set manual settings (M mode), but outdoors I use Auto ISO (because I shoot in un-controlled situations). Do you use Auto ISO when you shoot outdoors? Cheers!

Hi Nigel. Quick question before I purchase. You specifically say that if you use them at 5600, all should be good. Do the WB levels have any baring on outcome? If I were to use a lower kelvin, any issues that I should be aware of? Cheers friend.

Hi - does the GH7 shoot 1080p 60fps in open gate with AF. Plus could I use vlog in that configuration.
