So, Wacken (pronounced Vahken) Open Air festival in Germany in front of an audience of 85,000+ people (one of the largest heavy metal festivals in the world and one of the largest open-air festivals in Germany). And their show in Poland at Pol'and'Rock Festival was even Bigger, about 300+ thousand. ⚡Viva la WARNING⚡ NWSU/FloorFan/Epican/Ayreonaut/TWA 🤘😎🤘.
Yes, you do need to see these ladies live. Seeing them live is 100x better than anything you can watch on RUclips. My first show was quite literally a life altering experience.
The following night they performed at Pol'and'Rockfest and killed it. Amazing crowd and stage, and an insane light rig. The whole show was streamed but the only song posted to the festival channel was "Disciple". You'll love it. ruclips.net/video/VFviibKyyE8/видео.htmlsi=gRVo-IIBTfEW4OQP
Such a great song! It’s fitting they named themselves “The Warning”. Songs like this, Error, Consume, 21st Century Blood, etc. all warn us of our future. Such wisdom from three so young. 🤘🕊❤️🤘✨
Yes, find a way to go! Seeing these ladies live is nothing short of life changing. If I remember a dozen things vividly about my life when I'm on my deathbed, I know one will be the music festival where I first heard them in 2022, and a second will be seeing them again at the Bottom Lounge in Chicago in 2023. Both concerts were pre-KMF, so no plans to stop at twice!
I haven’t seen them “live” yet either but you’re right, even a video of them playing “live” gives off a different energy! As great as Wacken is, the Pol’ and’ Rock festival they did a couple of days later was even better! The whole set was up but was taken down. I think the only song that’s still up is Disciple. They always sound great but between the crowd & the lighting, it was incredible! Even if you don’t react to it, you should check it out!
Been binge watching their videos for some time. Watching versions of thier rehearsals from the cave, to Covid streams, to sound-checks, and ultimately before a crowd, these ladies ABSOLUTELY FEED off the energy of the people. The differences are measurable. DPA will take over the world. BTW Wacken is pronounced Vah'- ken
The Warning have proven over and over that not only can they handle the BIG stages, but that they also deserve to be on the BIG stages. live is their super power and they worked hard for it.
This song is so good. Dany was wearing a back support for this show and she kinda took it easy, couple nights before she played a show sitting down mostly. By the Pol'and'Rock Festival a couple days after this she seemed back to normal!!
It makes complete sense. You witness the pure and raw passion of the artist playing the songs the way they intended them to be heard. Studio and/or album versions have lots of post production shit going on, i.e., effects, backgrounds, etc. once the producers get done with it. I will always buy the albums to support the artists hard work, but given the choice, I will always take the live version first. Live music is medicine for my soul.
I don't know if you already know Nightwish, but if you know Nightwish, then you also know Wacken. Wacken was for a long time (and perhaps still is) the biggest festival in the world. Wacken is in Germany.
Dude, when I saw The Warning live for the first time, I was literally scared that Pau's drums were shattering my skeleton. I was checking my wallet to make sure I had my medical insurance card! 😅
this is the "little" main stage on Wacken .... Wacken is one of the biggest metal festival worldwide ... and a little town in the north of Germany .... more cows than inhabits
Dany's back felt better here but the next day it was alot. It was sad to see her seating on that chair. I didn't know about Wacken until 2019 when i watched Nightwish playing there. I was introduced to the European music scene with Nightwish and Floor. Ann Wilson of Heart played their with her band 2 years ago.
Sadly, they have bigger crowds in Europe than they do in the US - and sell out every headliner show. But it’s coming. Give it a year for the musical mass media promotional monster to be released here and the hype train gets behind them fully to ensure they are a household name in every major market, every album charts #1 the week of its release and they start selling out the largest venues and headlining the biggest festivals. I hope they don’t burnout.
During the European tour in April, they had about 1,000 people at each show. How many were there in America on the last tour? Wacken is a festival over 4 days. There are 80,000 people there.
I got to see this Warning concert and Pol' and' Rock concert before they all got torn down out of RUclips. I really feel bad for everyone who didn't get a jump on them.
Saw this whole show before it was taken down they TORE IT UP even had a pit going at Pau's command on Sharks they played a fest in Poland I think two days later that was streamed as Wacken was they tore that one up too the were next to last to perform the Poland show that was up for long enough to have seen that too

Wacken at 5 p.m. was one thing, Pol'and Rock at midnight the next day was nuclear.

Live is their super power
There have been lots of phenomenal performances from Wacken, add this to the list. Been quite the summer for them. Thanks!

The Warning are an awesome Live band. I've seen them live once so far, you definitely have to see them perform Live.

Wacken is the world temple of rock, damn!!! It's a yearly date for all rock world fans!!
