I think he is. The govt has annouced that as soon as migrants have gotten the right to settle they will be immediately eligible to get social housing. Then the families will come. Council tax payers will be on the hook for their every want. People who will be pushed back down the list will be paying council tax to give others social housing.

Blair was smarmy and a liar but at least he made a convincing pretense of wishing to govern for All the people of the UK. Starmer has made his intensions very clear.
Huge difference between the two. Blair DID enjoy public support (at least initially). He had some good people around him too. Starmer has never had that and never will. Everyone knows we voted the Tories out. Not him in. He was a lame duck from the start. And he knows it. Hence this nasty show of power.
Blair I believe started out as a genuine principled socialist and needed a lot of work and grooming from psychopaths to gradually turn him into what he became. Even now I get a sense he's a very troubled soul. This Starmer though seemed sinister to me from day one.

Anger? I'm in my late 70s and I can never remember a time that I had been so disappointed and furious with any UK government, and it has now come to the point that I am seriously thinking of emigrating. Poland? Bulgaria? Hungary? Czech Republic? Whose governments are on the mountain of right, and ours is in the valley of wrong. I don't want to live out what time I have left on the planet being forbidden to express an opinion, and where criminality of all varieties is off the scale.
I've visited, and occasionally resided in all of the above countries, where there are nice people, beautiful places, and cost of living is about half that of our own beleaguered Britain.
I had entered a couple more observations for discussion, but felt it advisable to delete them to avoid the possibility (probability?) of the thought-police banging on my door at 5 o'clock in the morning.
Keep up the good work lads, great stuff. And Nick, on behalf of, I hope, all of us, why don't you run for Parliament? As for your running for Mayor, the demographics up there is more or less a fait accompli for your opposition. Running for parliament would surely give you a broader horizon.

This needs to be taken to the Court of Human Rights in the Hague where the government should be put on trial. Continuity and application of the law should apply to all regardless of where of people are from ,it's not one law for this person and another law for some else.

For me. I am angry with two tier stammer and his party. It is my understanding that the Labour Party was formed for the working class. Yet now there seems to be an undercurrent of hate from that party towards the working class. If anything happens they always are quick to blame that section of society and call them derogatory names. It almost feels like theft. These party members seem to have taken over this party, brought in their own ideology as they have thrust aside the original reason for the formation of the party. Hi Nick, being an Irish Catholic Patriot and older gay man, and living in Manchester 23 years at age 53, after over 20 years in supermarket retailing, I am absolutely horrified but not surprised at what I’m hearing, given what I’ve heard from back home in Ireland and on Gemma O’ Doherty’s streams before, during and after Covid - I was last home to family in Rural Ireland in October 2022 and passing through Dublin alone was a truly heartbreaking experience - but by far, the source of my greatest heartbreak, even though I’m not a parent myself, is the future prospects of children and young people (if they even make it that far) starting with the actual babies of today - if that makes me “far-right” so be it - I remember you from Charlie Veitch’s videos and compared to my teens in the 1980’s in Ireland, I think that my generation were the last to experience the greatest number of (relative) freedoms in comparison to young people today, including here in the U.K. and in every other western nation globally
