I used a floating carrier to rocket myself down a cliff and across half of the tar river surrounding the big crater at the top of the map in chapter 3 and ran across the whete you would normally sink but they put an invisible wall just before the opposite shoreline. Feels bad.
My amenonemophobia was triggered when I saw the wind turbine in the inacessible area. That's the one thing I haven't seen in normal Death Stranding gameplay yet, that I keep feeling I will see. Amenonemophobia is the distinct fear of wind turbines. It used to mean the fear of windmills, but those aren't commonplace anymore.
This is amazing. I can't even imagine how did you manage to understand all of the details. Also how did you get this some kind of protection on your backpack and harmonica?

So these Premium Deliveries (in Normal mode), are they just ordered by location? So you need to visit each prepper/city and go through them to get all 500? Do any delivery number recycle? What happens if you finish all the allotted delivery numbers for a prepper/city?
Its just a normal standard order(“sidequest”) that sometimes also can be done by a bot. When you do them yourself you can select the premium delivery which will narrow the restrictions of the delivery. The dificulty setting only has an effect on the rank of the delivery (normal max is awesome, on hard legend of legends) since you need some LoL ranks for trophy people thought it would be nice to do them all. There are 500 of them; 1-70 are the story orders 71-99 are “orders for Sam” (i think) 100-599 are the standard orders. some preppers only have 5 different ones while a city can have like 40. But most still are easy, you can just load all in a truck to keep them safe (some deliveries need to be kept cool, so only in snow, or in a truck, you can still store them in lockers) and drive around a few times, you can have 30 active ones. But when you complete all it only shows you have 500 LoL ranks, you don’t actually get an item, a “good job” or even a 100% mark.
Bugged "content" in video games feels too terrifying for me to try. Not only because of the fear of crashing my game or blowing up my save files, but also, broken physics feel nightmare-ish to me. Always did, specially in older games. I have also some fear of underwater in 3D games but not in 2D (but it's getting better). There is even a word for that: Thalassophobia. So thanks for recording this, because it's fun and interesting (and it's safe to watch) but I would never do it myself 😂
Fascinating exploration! The "Indian Rope Trick" is a technique that is worth trying in quite a few more locations around the perimeter of the "Out of Bounds" line. It would be good if someone could put together an expanded map showing where the real boundaries of Death Stranding extend to. I would not be surprised if some of these new areas are the basis for future updates and additions by Kojima Productions.
Central knot city only exists in the first map, where point you don't even get ladders or climbing anchors. It would be a real challenge to go out of bounds on that map.

I spent a lot of time trying to get into that crater because of the pizza delivery missions and one of the emails you get says something about a final hint or something and just look at all my previous messages and it should be apparent and so... (remembering).... oh! i counted the number of like icons on each message and putting them together i'm like, ooh coordinates i think so i looked for those coordinates on the map and i'm like oh crap it's in that huge crater, that's the perfect place for a hidden something and just like the pizza guy to put it there so i go up there and i actually tried several times to ride a hover cart down to speed me across some of the tar and Sam could slog through the rest but right near the edge the invisible wall comes up. it was heartbreaking. welp, good excuse to play the game again, ty EDIT: figures, wrong crater.
Since i started the game,i always hoped i will eventually reach the creater in some story mission or whatver.Then i did almost every sidequest and finished the story and learned i cant go there.Kinda sucks that it was not used in normal game,but have to reach it using tricks.
Firstly I asked why there is fish in the water out of map, then I remembered it is the same fish in the Horizon ZeroDawn......Decima engine accessories😅
this must the area form one of the cutscenes with the enormous footprint or maby the place you go when you are "dead". the small structure under the map is probably the sleep/shower room

I think that place is where stuff is stored when not used in game. When BTs catch you those buildings and the fishes are spawning from that place.

A mission to revisit the crater would have been good. Super hostile and difficult to traverse, for a unique type of chiralium or w/e...

Kojima should have made the crater accessible, it could have been used as a boss rush mode.
Maybe this is the crater where Sam first encountered a voidout, later Kojima decides to remove it from the game but forgot to actually do it.
