I like watching craft room tours. I'm always amazed at how many different items people have that I've never heard of, or even used. Nicely organized. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you, Mary! Great tour! You motivated me! We moved about 6 months ago. My craft room is half the size and has less than half the storage. I’m trying to work with it. I really should do some purging! I’m in my craft room now, and decided to get started. It’s 5:30 AM! Lol
You can do it! Purging is the BEST thing I ever did. I feel so much more creative too. I don't fee so overwhelmed and like I'm constantly just moving one thing from one end of the room to the other.
Your craft room is a beautiful space. It is wonderful you have a man who works with you to create your dream space. Everything makes complete sense. I love, love the lights around your desk, the slide out magnetic die storage and the really cool light that has so many different placement options. You create beautiful art and your innovative styling in your craft room supports your creativity and ingenuity. 🥰🇨🇦🥰
Mary, what a beautiful craft - creative area. I'm so happy for you 🤗. Will be looking forward to seeing all of your creations in the future. You are so deserving of it all. God bless you.
Mary I am so thrilled that you have such a lovely space. I started following you when you crafted on a desk I think in your living room or dining room in your previous home when you would get up early before going to work and tape videos for us. I always admired your enthusiasm for crafting. I share it. Now you have been blessed with a generous space because you have a generous spirit. I think you are reaping what you sowed! I craft in my dining area. My living room, dining room and kitchen are all one big space in my one bedroom condo. I love to organize so I am constantly rearranging stuff but it’s so fun. I know someday I will have a separate craft room but for now I am content to use my space and enjoy it fully. You are a true blessing to the crafting community. Thank you for sharing your ideas and creativity.
WOW, Annie thank you so much for pouring into me like this today! I truly appreciate you! I feel so very blessed that I've been able to have this wonderful space after all these years and I think you're right about gratitude too. I was so grateful for any and all spaces I had to craft in and that helped me along the way.
Woke up this morning and thought of you. I am beaming, you are doing everything that you dreamt. So happy for you and your family. The room looks great.
Thank u Mary. I love your little lights around your desk & the magnetic die boards under neath your desk. I have never seen that b4. Have a great blessed day.
Your space is so well thought out and pretty. I like mixing the functional with pretty things. Like your said, you are in their quite a bit so why not! Love what you did to make your space, your space. You gave me great ideas and I’m inspired. I love how you have organized everything, down to your card stock!
I think that is why it took me so long to share it because I kept switching stuff up and just wanted to get it where it made sense. Thank you so much for the encouragement and compliments.
Wow Mary, I thoroughly enjoyed this video of your room tour!! I am enormously impressed at how you created a home for everything. Your craft room is beautiful! It looks very inviting and true happy place. Thank you for sharing it. You are always a pure joy to watch!
Well, Mary, I'm 3:23 into your video and had to stop and start typing my comment! I am blown away by how gorgeous it is! I love all of your different storage ideas. Your vinyl labels for your drawers is ingenious! See you this week at the Card Maker Success Summit!
Thank you so much for the tour. I absolutely love the pull outs your husband made for storing your dies. I may have to have my husband do something similar. I also like the cassette holders for your inks. I've found 2 at yard sales, still need at least one more. Thanks again for the tour.

Hello Mary, first I have to say that I am sooo jealous of your craft room, it is simply beautiful. Now my craft space is in my basement quite large basement. my husband made me about 6 tables from wood pallets. I am going to cover with contact paper. I have lots of cabinets that are empty because everything is in shopping bags and paper bags. Sorry for the long description. So I want to know where to start organizing and do I just start emptying bags and put all the like things together and then start filling Bins and cabinets !!!!????? I REALLY NEED HELP 😩 !!! LOL ❣️ anything you can advise me on, I would be extremely grateful 🙏. thanks for sharing your beautiful space. Diane Minto ❣️ ❣️
Hi Diane, the first step is to stand in the room and try your best to have a visual of where you'll be crafting, and where you might want things to go. THis will help you get a layout, but know that things will likely change a few times until you find the perfect spot for everything. Next, yes start making a mess. It will get worse before it gets perfect. lol Categorize like items, purge whatever you are not going to use (or haven't in the last 2 years even though you promised yourself you would) because physical clutter causes creative clutter. Then just start designing your space. I hope that helps get you started. :)

Hi Mary I only discovered your channel last week. Love it. You're so down to earth & what I can tell you'd be the same in person. Some channels I come across r way too much for me & switch off after a few minutes. People trying to come across different to real life if u get me!! Currently watching ur craft room tour. Hubby & I moved home recently too & can't get the rails for all my ikea pots & shelves. Apparently IKEA don't sell them separately anymore!! Bummer as we had to rush leave r last house so didn't have the time to remove the rails so very interested to see it metal rack solution. I'm in a town called Newtownabbey which is just a few minutes from Belfast so as u can imagine we don't have great crafty stores here. Mostly we have to purchase online. Again so delighted I found ur channel. Love & Blessings from Northern Ireland 💜💚💜 xo
Hello! Thank you so much for joining me here! I hope you like the channel and get something out of it. Thank you for the super sweet compliment! Life is too short to take ourselves too seriously so I definitely try to have a good time here. I appreciate you taking the time to leave this comment. :)
Thanks for sharing. Where did you get the skinny led light that you use over your glass board the one to the side, not the one hanging over the desk. Thanks in advance I think that would be great for helping my eyes. Very nice craft room!
Go to this site and scroll down to LIGHTING/RECORDING. You will see LED lighting for craft desk. marypolancodesigns.blogspot.com/p/craft-room-tour-listing.html
Dear Mary Loved the tour. I love to see how crofters organise their space. I am joining u from Sri Lanka the tiny island nation below India. I am taking your binder idea to organise my stencil collection which is really small. I bought the gyro cutter and if I master the tool I will make my own stencils with x Ray paper. As organisation is very rare and expensive I try to make my own using cardboard pattern paper kitchen roll tubes and wheels. I hv made a cart which I use to store my inks and embossing stuff such as the embossing powders heat gun powder tool which is a DIY. All my embellishments are in a set of tins and each color has a tin. The tins were super cheap and I grabbed 12 now regret not buying sm more. My craft space is a part of my bed room where I sleep and also work. Craft goodies hv overtaken most of the space . I am more or less mobile as I travel between Sri Lanka and New Zealand. I take my goodies wen I go and bring them back wen I cm. Last time I left most of them there as I was to return and my embellishments etc is there. Now I am collecting again. Now I am more conscious wen I make a purchase. Recently I purchased a t ruler as I can never align my sentiments properly but it is a giant t ruler and if I am to use it I hv to free my desk space and I am doing it right now. Wen I see small tools I buy even though I don't do the craft and it comes in handy wen the time is right. Tc stay safe
OK Mary, me again 😜 So let’s say you are making a card and need a “Happy Retirement” stamp or die. How do u know where to find it in your stamp and die stashes? Also, looks like u remove new dies from packaging which makes it easier to organize by shape, subject, etc. BUT more difficult down the road to package a set for donation/re-sale,etc. Segregation of stamps and dies for storage continues to be my bugaboo. Looking for your thoughts and experience.
Hi Cheri! I don't have that many stamps actually so i would just flip through them for a particular one but imagine that can be hard if you have a lot more than me. As far as repackaging goes for donation down the road, I do have most of mine labeled by the brand at least. I don't like to keep original packaging for anything because they are so cumbersome to open so it's more important for me to be able to get to it and use it. Otherwise it collects dust! lol
@@marypolancodesigns thanks so much! I’ve been trying to find the right shade of sage with a cool undertone and I think this might be it! Your videos are wonderful btw, I love your personality and you are very fun to watch!
Question: I saw that you have a few mats but you only have the magnetic glass out, would you say that is the better one? I do think having a magnetic mat is very helpful to keep your card in place but don’t want to buy different mats. I’m just starting with stamping and don’t want to spend a crazy amount right off the bat. What do you recommend? I was thinking of buying a magnetic eraser board to start off but for a few extra dollars I can get something better.
Great question but also hard to answer. I would say the glass mat does it all (ink smoosh, heat on it, cut on it, grid, watercolor, it's magnetic) so for me you don't really need another surface. However, this particular one is not that cheap. If you are just starting out and not sure if you'll stick with this craft, go to dollar tree and buy a 2-pack of cutting mats and use them for now. If you are staying for the long haul, highly recommend the white glass mat by Glassboard studios. If you do go with that one, be sure to save 20% with coupon code MARY20. Every bit helps!

Thank you so much! You are just the best and always make me smile! HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I love this. Thank you. Some beautiful touches to a functional space! Where do you store ongoing projects or projects that take a bit more time?
You had me at “blink ending”
Hi Mary
I only discovered your channel last week.

Jealous of your craft space!!! Soo neat.
Thanks so much! It only took me 15 years to get it. hahah I do love it
This was great. Thank you
You are most welcome!
Loved them ❤
Thank you so much!
Dear Mary
Loved the tour.
WOW, thank you so much for sharing all of this! I love love love it
Thanks for the tour, I love your space! What are the purple lights lining the edge of your desk where your monitors are? Those are so fun!!

Otherwise it collects dust! lol
I have a smart TV and an ipad how do I get to the links below ?? I do really find your videos great .Right now i am on your craft room tour wow
Try to click the three dots on your screen if you have them and see if that brings you to "Description". I hope that helps.
Very nice, I can’t wait to move to South Carolina and have a bigger craft room
Moving?? Woot woot, when?
To Myrtle beach hopefully within a year ( before next winter) if everything goes right!!
Nice tour! What is that rack at 20:30? I don't think I see it listed above and I don't think you addressed it. Thanks!
Oh yes that's the punch board holder by we r memory keepers. It's listed in the blog link under the video
Nice space! Tfs
Thank you! 🤗 It's my super duper happy place. lol
Love the tour😊

Thank you so much! Yes its Behr "Green Meets Blue"
@@marypolancodesigns thanks so much! I’ve been trying to find the right shade of sage with a cool undertone and I think this might be it!

My pleasure!
Oooooooh I got a few ideas from u. Thank u for sharing
I'm so glad! YAY!
Great room love it
Thank you!!
