Very relaxing song. Reminded me of Anathema. I've been busy in the Rockies. I was driving around the circle. Down the I5 and up the I15 on the other side for a few weeks.. Finally, I made it to Loveland, CO, today. Airbag was a surprise. The outro was soothing and great.

Just found this video because I was going through my music video playlists on my channel. And was listening to Colours for the "I don't know how manyieth" time. I have "Identity", "All Rights Removed" , and "Greatest Show On Earth". Have enjoyed their music for so many years. While listening to this song again I went looking for a collection of Guitar solos from their best songs, especially this solo in Colours, (which always sends me off into the clouds). But I couldn't find one. I wish that someone would compile a video of all their great guitar solos. So Glad you got to experience it!! Isn't music just "Heaven"? I went from your Gates of delirium' first listen (brain scrambled ) to 'Airbag' a first. I was NOT going into 'Airbag' thought it was about cars. But luckily I was to slow and 'airbag' played -Loved it. I was alive when all the good 70's music was made, but missed prog rock (annie Haslem!!). Nick I discovered Jazz in 1964 on FM radio, FM was rare, not in cars. Nick I agree Jazz will over fill your brain, still does. Coltrane live, the best, not easy listen.
I love Airbag, great band with several brilliant albums. My favourite album of theirs is probably 'All Rights Removed', which is fabulous from start to finish. You should also check out the solo albums released by the guitarist, Bjørn Riis ('A Storm is Coming' is possibly his best, but hey ... they're all good)
New stuff very nice indeed, some new tunes to add to the collection great sound and a great vibe. And I think the sound you’re referring to is a Wurlitzer Leslie cabinet, combined with a Hammond B3 organ had a speaker that rotated you could change the phase by increasing or decreasing the speed. You recognize that sound with Pink Floyd it always reminds me of the Greg Allman sound with the Allman Brothers. Love hearing new stuff. Have fun watching Little Feat there’s not too many members left from the core band the original guitarists Lowel George and Paul Barrere are both gone as is lRichie Hayward the drummer gone to soon the main original member would be Billy Payne on keyboards and that’ll be more than enough. I’m sure it’ll be great. This was great new music, a great reaction and have a great time at the concert.🎸🥁🧨🔥🤪

Mesmerizing is a good way to describe this Argentine fountain of sound. Brand new to me. Ginastera was from down that way. In other news...had Revolver only the second song, it would still be worth the price.

Yes, I did call in to a radio station a few times and have my name mentioned. I’m gonna say mid-80’s on Sunday night to WIOQ in Philadelphia DJ Ed Sciaky (pronounced ‘shockey’). He was a great proponent of Prog. He’d do a show on Sunday nights called the Sunday Night Alternative and he’d play songs not on the station’s usual rotation and take requests. Id call in and always ask for off the wall prog like Caravan and sometimes he’d play it and sometimes say jokingly he’d get fired if he’d play it because it was too far out there. He’d announce my name and general location relative to parts of the Delaware Valley. He was a great DJ and great person and he loved prog. I met him twice. Once at a YESCON and then later in the 90’s at a YES concert in Hershey. Sad that he’s gone. I bet he has something to do with the more intense thunder you hear and feel as he probably talked the angels into using some pretty powerful bass pedals!
When I saw this, I first said : NO ... because I had planned Airbag to open up my upcoming Norwegian marathon. But now I'm glad, Paul requested this song, because I didn't know it and it's very good.... and now I'm thinkin what to do 😁 But I have 2 stories about former radio: my father once called in for a show to send some greetings; he told us before the show, so we listened for 3 hours to Deutsche Volksmusik 😂 but the greetings didn't make it, probably for the 40 - 50 songs they played, they had several hundred callers. The other story is even more funny, I take you back to the late 70s: my favourite radio station had the caller's LP charts, you did vote by sending POSTCARDS ... I guess, many of you remember what that is ? 😉 So to rank my favourite album, for example I remember voting for Kansas' Monolith, I send 3 cards using mine, my brother's and my girlfriend's name. They gave away 10 LPs each show, my girlfriend won twice and she found out by schoolmates next day ... I hadn't told her 🤭but that was no problem .. so then she owned Pink Floyd's Wish you were here and Styx' Cornerstone ... sometime later I won tickets for a festival after I already had bought some, but I could sell them at the festival ground 🤘
