Air genasi. And build concepts brew. Storm cleric. Bladesinger comes to mind. In stead of using booming blade/green flame. We use Shocking grasp. With a whip. Cause it strikes like lightning. Ah the flavor. Awesome overview Sage.
I've always liked air genasi. Maybe it was the 3e artwork with the light blue skin and the billowing hair. Maybe it was the description of being free like the wind and using their levitate racial ability to glide up in the air. But yeah, air genasi are cool. I'd like to make a non-spellcaster genasi, maybe a fighter or rogue or barbarian.
I’ve been pretty obsessed with the swarm keepers ability to pull creatures toward them, via thorn whip and the swarm. Only needing three levels of ranger, I was thinking of what to MC it with. Thinking air Genasi swarm keeper tempest. Color the swarm as lighting?
Hello Thank you for making this video, I am newbie lol and now beginning to level up. Does this work for all air Genasi’s ? I am a Genasi Paladin and when I go into my character sheet and it doesn’t show up.
Hey Danielle, air genasi were updated in monsters of the multiverse (a book released a few months ago.) my guess is your air genasi is of the old style.
If you’re updating on dndbeyond you’ll have to purchase “monsters of the multiverse” If just a character sheet I would either google the update or just use this video as a guide to update your stats, spells, ect. In either case I would run it by your Dm first to make sure they’re cool with it.
I can't wait to see some builds with the updated Air Genasi!

D4: D&D Deep Dive has a build (#24 Magic Touch) which uses Shocking Grasp as the main attack.
If your DM lets you, you can zap your opponent with shocking grasp when you hit them with your sword.

@@DnD_Daily oh that would make sense, how can I update it?

What about one being a druid?
