Oh my days, this is the best recipe for Banana Bread that I have ever made. It's not too sweet, it is crispy on the outside, it is moist and you don't even need to add sour cream or yoghurt. Truly stunning. I added cinnamon, nutmeg and mace to mine and it is out of this world. The mix of brown sugar and granulated wins every single time. Oh Yum!
Just took mine out of the oven. 🤞 I baked it at 160°c fan forced Aussie oven. My skewer is coming out clean after 1 hour. I have decided thats it! Cant wait to try it now. 😍 Thanks Anna ❤🇦🇺🦘
I have just baked your recipe, but it leaves a weird taste in my mouth, after looking at the recipe again I think the culprit is the baking soda.. 1 teaspoon seems a lot for 1.5 cup of flour only. My mouth is dry and bitter now and I very much regretted baking this. Has anyone experienced this because all the review seems to be too good to be true...

Please don’t bake for 75 mins as said in the recipe!! I checked when there were 10 mins left and even then it was almost burnt.
