My teeth were exactly the same. I just had them cleaned today by a dentist. A piece of advice: don't try home-cleaning scalers. You can't simply do it by yourself. Just go to your local dentist and be done with it

The calculus basically strangled this person's teeth. Your neck will hurt once the strangling ends but it goes away. Same thing applies here.

I got some plaque removed from my teeth a few years ago and it was so painful and I had tears in my eyes LOL I'm currently trying to go back to get it done again unfortunately
If you do it frequently u won't have this pain

How to keep calculus from coming back on the bottom of your teeth especially if you have pockets and brushing & flossing isn't enough....
U can go to periodontist to have gum augmentation after opening flap to clean the pockets subgingivally
@@drmohamedadel Why would I need a periodontist when I keep up my cleanings and have an appointment with a hygienist on the 22nd. They didn't tell me any of this at my last dental visit last year.

@@drmohamedadel Thanks for the reply doc. Bleeding stopped this morning, used a medicated mouthwash. Some pockets are still a little sensitive.
Any special toothpaste or mouthwash you can recommend from your side???
@@MistahBunny any mouth wash contains chlorhexidine twice daily for one week .. Use paradontax toothpaste once in week
@@drmohamedadel chlorhexidine gluconate 0.2% mouthwash is the one prescribed by my dentist. I'll buy the toothpaste soon. Thanks for the help.

Depending on how much plaque buildup you have it might hurt a little bit because getting rid of the buildup can irritate the gums. I had a cleaning done yesterday actually, hurt (a teeny bit, not much) for like 2 hours

It doesn’t. But you may realize that you have the metallic taste when they clean your teeth that your gum blood. But no pain at all.
