    thank you for this. appreciate it. could you please make videos with the treatments tray's. Like brackets check. you need a mirror, probe, distal end cutter and weingart plier. and then other tray for a different treatment like retainer of IPR.

    Is it the scaler or the explorer which is used to open the autoligatures braces?

    • @likeabossproductions1254
      @likeabossproductions1254  3 месяца назад +1

      Either can be used but, technically, there is a specific instrument made by the manufacturer of the braces that they want you to use to open the gate on self ligating brackets.
      In our clinic I usually used a ligature director to open the gates because they’re as slender as but more rigid than an explorer.

    Is probe another name of explorer?

    • @likeabossproductions1254
      @likeabossproductions1254  2 месяца назад

      Some people will call explorers probes. Other people call the periodontal probe (also called a perio probe) simple a probe. It just depends on the office and the doctor. I hope that helps!

    Are all these instruments in one kit?

    • @likeabossproductions1254
      @likeabossproductions1254  Год назад +1

      Short answer: No.
      Long answer: Each office/doctor prefers different instruments on different kinds of trays or kits. We have a tray for regular adjustment appointments, another tray for putting the braces on, another for taking the braces off, etc. Each type of tray has the instruments on it that the doctor prefers for that type of appointment. I hope that answers your question. 😁👍

      Great video... again. They're very much appreciated. Sorry if I missed it, what bracket removers don't damage the brackets, for repositioning? Thanks again.

    • @likeabossproductions1254
      @likeabossproductions1254  Год назад +2

      @@rashedala-uddin9012 For repositioning, I use a weingart. I remove the archwire then gently but firmly hold the bracket with the jaws of the weingart holding the mesial and distal surfaces of the bracket. I gently squeeze then turn my wrist very slightly. The bracket should pop loose without being bent or damaged. If it doesn’t come off, increase your squeezing pressure very slightly and slightly twist your wrist again. Just enough that you can hardly see your wrist move.
      To verify that the bracket wasn’t bent, place a full size wire into the bracket slot to verify that it goes into the slot completely. Also, look at the base of the bracket to verify it still has its original shape. I hope that helps!
