Hi, I use the same battery brand, I just went for some more As, 750! I have a video on it, but it's very bad! Charge your battery each time it falls under 12.3V! Greetings
@@PlanetautoUK Same thing 230e. The amps are important, the impact force. I am very pleased. It's now in the cellar, it's snowing here in Serbia, so the battery is on the safe place, at some 5 degrees Celsius.😀😀😀
@@mercedeske yes, the Mk2 Golf battery would have likely not had enough Amps to sustain it, no snow here in the UK, it’s actually warmed up, good idea keeping your battery warm, thank you
@@PlanetautoUK You're welcome. The battery is like wine - it always like to be full. Just keep that rule and your battery is going to endure for 10 years!
thanks mate!! Now I know why I was breaking so many batteries: turns out I wasn't starting the car in the right way. My car is a diesel I was starting it like a petrol car. It takes a few secs before you turn the ignition key. Thank you much!!
thank you so much for video how to install battery,it vas very helpfull for mee
You’re very welcome Rune
A great video. It may be worth buying a mxs5.0 trickle charger. I love mine
Oooo, is that the one that can double the life of your battery? *A

Hello, my word 750 that is a fair bit of oomph, this seems to be doing the job nicely, what engine do you have? Thank you for that

We had a C180 that the alternator over charged the battery essentially cooking it, the voltages weren’t consistent, changed it, and all was good.
how long should your battery last for this type of car??
10 years if maintained right
@@PlanetautoUK I see. Mine lasts 18 months bc it's a diesel engine. It's hard to start in winter. Thanks for answering!!
