I saw the two official IL-96s at the Hamburg G-20 and then again at the SCO Summit in Samarkand. When the Russian President travels, they always come by two. They are awesomely beautiful.
Man, LAX needs to take notes of this week. Josh and Peter film from LAX more often than JFK or SFO combined, in the two years they've had this channel. Yet LAX has never offered to send anyone out for interview, or done anything to make them welcome. Meanwhile, SFO and JFK have shown they love having them there.

I remember reading about these things as a kid in the 2000s and thinking; what a terrible waste of a 'modern' hull and wing design, and anything developed post 1975 was pretty modern by then. Also as we found out with rocketry; the Soviets definitely had a lot of secret sauce technology wise.

Beautiful wheelbarrow designed 35 years ago. They are so popular, whole 33 of them where build for soviet union, cuba and NK.
