I'm not a Tow/Haul person at all but I absolutely love everything about this truck. Great sound, style, and features. I will definitely get this truck. Nice video. Very informative.
If you were in my state, I would buy a truck from YOU!!!. The way you go over every detail in the truck, show it and explain it clearly, other you tubers should learn from your style. It's so hard to find good videos like yours. Bravo sir.
My dads friend who is a diesel mechanic says the new 6.7 powerstrokes are the best on the market hands down. And fords f-series trucks have been the best selling for 34 years straight
I love this truck. My uncle has one for his farm, and when he goes on. Holidays, he leaves it with me to drive instead of the bmw. I literally need to stand on a step ladder to look under the hood! Great video Kyle!
Ford has always been my favorite truck. Someone tried to make a negative comment about them once and said that the reason why they are #1 selling is because of fleet sales. I said that is good. If the fleet services continue to choose Ford for all their service needs, that means that Ford makes a truck good enough for them to keep coming back. Chevy and Dodge make decent trucks as well, but I will always go to Ford first for all my towing and hauling needs.
I like this older Ford head unit. In my dad's 2014, I can't count the number of times that that newer touch sreen has froze and/or glitched on me. I love the Sony speakers; I wonder how much of an improvement the new B&O system is.
im actually pretty tired of all the arguments on what truck is best.. all of them (dodge, ford and chevy/GMCs) have their good and bad parts. Its all about how you take care of the truck. My personal opinion, id take the ford because i like their designs better, and my dad has always being a ford man, so i grew up liking those trucks more.
I swear bro its always this fucking bullshit with the people always fucking arguing over which truck is best I wish they would just man the fuck up and stop arguing but lord know when that is gonna fuckin happen
5 years later and the fussing still continues...I've owned all 3 (Dodge 1500,Ford F150 and a Chevy) I could careless about the badge on a truck it's all according to what I want at that moment.
For those of you who wondered what songs were, they were "Girls Girls Girls" by Motley Crew, "Wishing Well" by Terence Trent Darby, and "Rock Star" by Nickelback.
God I miss the sound of my old truck. Had to sell cuz the rust got so bad it created problems everywhere. Suspension components deteriorated, tailgate kept falling off, girls slicing their legs open on the rusty doorwell as they slipped getting out of the truck. But my FAVORITE one, was whenever I made a hard right turn, my dome light would come on and my dash would tell me my driver door was open. XD it was a 2010 of all things. Still loved that thing. And I plan on getting another one.
when i was on vacation in Canada and the US this year i saw ALLOT of pickups. I live in holland and we practically don't have such cars. I always wondered how they looked inside and stuff. Thanks for the video!
God I love this truck I can't wait to get a big ass Ford F250 Super Duty I used to want a chevy soo bad but now that I was I my uncles F250 Super Duty I love it
This truck is now 11 years old, and it still has a lot of luxuries that some vehicles may not have today, these trucks go anywhere from $25,000-$33,000 today
They were great engines, my uncle has one in his '05 F350 dually. The only problem was that International didn't want to back up/support their services to Ford. I think Ford can make an even better one. The diesel is the best thing about he F250's and F350's. ;)
Lariat interior in my opinion has always been iffy, but the king ranch and limited/platinum and even FX4 luxury interior have always caught my eye. Anyway I would take any of the new superduty over the rest.
In relation to the 5,000 or so rpm rev potential, yes 2800 rpm is quite low. For a light medium duty diesel however (I say "medium duty" by power #'s rather than size), 2800 rpm is redline. Operation range of a typical diesel of that power level is usually 1500-3000 rpm which puts the #'s right where they should be (which is impressive for the size).
One of the things that are better on these HD Fords are the Semi-Truck door handles. It's a nice, unique feature. I'd own either truck. (Quite like the GMC's)
Im starting to really love these diesel trucks, and the reason is that Im a guy that take a road trip maybe almost every weekend, and I dont like to travel by airplanes during vacations. Correct me if im wrong, when it comes to doing lots of miles, diesel are the things to use right ? However, whats the difference between a diesal truck, and a gasoline truck regarding the maintenance ? Im really worried about that cause In my country its rare to see a diesel truck and I dont know if ppl know how to fix em when they break down. Also I heard that the cummmins are better, why is that ?
When it comes to the diesels really all of them are okay. The difference between diesels and gasoline trucks is that diesel engines use compression to ignite the fuel rather then spark. The "spark" plugs in diesel vehicles are actually glow plugs what they do is help heat up the fuel so that it doesn't gel up. it is really only a problem in cold climates that the fuel will gel causing the vehicle so it wont start but there are things that can be done to mitigate that problem most of the diesel in cold climates are usually treated to help that and also you can add an additive into the fuel also you can get a tank heater which you plug in at night so your fuel wont gel. But yes if you are traveling a lot diesels are great basically people say that 100,000 miles on a diesel engine is just breaking it in.
Diesels Are grate for highway driving specially if you do a few basic mods you can squeeze a lot more mpg out of them. Plus you can put an extra reserve tank in the bed and have it hooked up to you main fuel tank extending your range. I know a guy who has a gmc Sierra 3500 hd dually and he has a extra tank in the bed a chip tuner and he might have an exhust and a intake but I'm not shure but I do know that he can drive from Toronto Canada to Florida without stoping for fuel and I think that drive is 24 or 30 hours or so not 100% shure but you can look it up. If I had to do lots of long distance highway driving for road trips a Diesel truck is one of my top choices up there with the s class Diesel or e class wagon or even a a8 tdi
You're half right, it is water, but not from condensation, it's actually the result of a very sophisticated (and problematic) emissions system that is the result of a soot incineration system in the exhaust that then combines the ashes left over with Urea (that you have to buy and fill a reservoir with) that is combined with the left over ashes and results in a chemical reaction that results in water coming of the exhaust instead of the ashes of what would have been the black exhaust soot that was previously re-burned. From what they say it works properly on the new 6.7, but was a huge cause of pre-mature engine failure on the 6.4 (THE reason why Ford made this engine instead of buying them like they used to).
The F-350 has stiffer rear leafsprings, as well as other suspension revisions. Basically it makes it so that when you tow or haul a heavy payload, the rear wont sag down to the ground as much as an F-250 would under similar conditions.
No doubt about it! Ford simply makes the best pickup trucks in the industry! My dad, who was a diehard Chevrolet man, even admitted this!
I'm not a Tow/Haul person at all but I absolutely love everything about this truck. Great sound, style, and features. I will definitely get this truck. Nice video. Very informative.
You know I really love the sounds in USA cars when your door's open. In Europe it's always PIIIIIIEEEEPP!
If you were in my state, I would buy a truck from YOU!!!. The way you go over every detail in the truck, show it and explain it clearly, other you tubers should learn from your style. It's so hard to find good videos like yours. Bravo sir.
in the backround "DRIVIN 15 CARS CUS WE ALL WANNA BE BIG ROCK STARS" lol
Yeah that's Nickelbacks Rockstar. Good song.
Oh my goodness this here is such a beautiful truck. I could give anything to have this truck. Please keep adding videos like this!!!! Please!!!
This was one of the best looking Super Duties followed by the 1999-2004 models.

I love it when these begin accelerating they give a good sound
Holy crap it's so quiet.... I drive by one the other day. It sounds almost like a gas engine. I honestly was blown away.

I like these trucks more! Amazing job bro.
i love this truck because this was my first truck i ever wanted !!!!!!
love the sound of a turbo
the turbo isn't super loud, but quite a bit louder than I had expected to be on these new fords. very nice truck
I was blown away when I say 15.1 miles on the odometer of a 2011 f250, then realized this video was put up in 2011 hahaha
RebelRanger01 this was released in 2012 really it’s 2018
400 horses & 800 torque?!
Now THAT'S performance!
10 years of the 6.7 powerstroke💪
Masterpiece ever until now 2024. Greatness.
Does anyone else like the diesel chatter that this truck makes
Yep
I also like the "whistle" these trucks let out
FlamingGuy21 its the turbo sound
Chaos Zombie999 I do
I’d rather listen to a 6.0 or a 7.3 idle.

I would love to see a review of the 2019 f250 limited if you get the chance or have time. Thanks Kyle
imagine this in Europe. It would be like a mammoth
I actually own a F150, and I am from Slovakia.
Ricardo theRedneck You have my full respect. Not the easiest vehicles to get in Europe!
I lived in Germany for awhile, and would have loved to have showed this thing off. Helping farmers tractors out of stuck situations
To the Europeans it would be a monster truck to them lol
David Davis good man David.
Even the F-250 come with the cute asf start up chime love it

thank you for the tour, now i know why this is such a desirable vehicle .

I have this version, it gets about 15.4 mpg in town. I think that's pretty good for such a large vehicle.

I love this truck exsept I like the supercab longbed
Beautiful truck love the turbo whistle
I love the sound of these truck! Super amazing! I would just use it for daily driving...not for construction work or something
The Power of America !!!
that is literally the most annoying sound when the key is in and the door is open
Nathan den Hollander I will be honest I’m not a big fan of the new Ford chime
i like it
also be lucky its not like GM's with a bong cause the "bong" type gets annoying than the ford.
Phoenix16 you’re definitely correct on that
The old chime before 2010 is better than this one. I like the GM chimes too.
F-250, Lovely? Car? It's a beastly man-conveyor!

That's a sweet Lariat 👍 all you need is a 26' Formula SS to tow behind it and you're good!

hey kyle, since ive seen on your youtube page you have a vid of the ram hd coming up, which one did you like more? the superduty or ram hd?
@bigzbert lol. Yes that's my biggest problem with the newer Fords. I wonder if Ford can install a traditional chime?

What a cool truck
My mom's ex boyfriend had a 2011 Ford F-250 in white with gray cloth interior. He programmed it to go 100 MPH. That son-of-a gun would fly.
